D rank mission: Village scout

The air was crisp and clean as Nietzsche started off around Kirigakure. He had been assigned a mission to patrol around the city and report back to the town guards. There must have been a shortage in guards, to have to ask genin to patrol Nietzsche thought. Regardless he planned to do well on this mission. As of then he was off to release the messenger hawks. The hawks would fly to the boats around the land of water and get the daily report from the ships captains and return at which point Nietzsche would bring the scrolls they held to the guards. Really it was a big deal and Nietzsche saw no reason why he shouldn’t be honored, but he could not shake the feeling of being underused and unappreciated by being given such an easy mission—I guess it means I will have to become a Chunin that much faster Nietzsche reasoned.
Nietzsche released the hawks. He watched as they flew away into the endless sky until at last they disappeared into the hazy horizon. They would be back in a half an hour so for now Nietzsche had to go patrol around the grounds and observe the weather. He took to walking from north to south. The ground here was moist and mushy. Each step he made sunk his foot down a bit into the ground. The weather seemed to be changing to a more clear day-a surprise. Remembering to keep that in mind Nietzsche kept moving until he retuned to the hawks roost. He quickly gathered the scrolls, which were around the hawk’s feet. Now he knew why Hikou was so fond of the sky, because of creature like this that embodied freedom in every wing beat. They were truly kings of the sky. Praise aside Nietzsche still had to finish his patrol. He started out towards the west. There seemed to be some graffiti on some of the walls depicting the mizikage in a less than flattering way-He took note of that. Also He noticed that there was a light mist coming in from the west. Huh so to the north I is clear and the west it is misty interesting, what does that mean? Though Nietzsche quickly dismissed the reasoning side of himself, as he only needed to report the facts not theories.
Nietzsche had to restrain himself from reading the scrolls he had retrieved. Inside was top-secret information. He wondered what each one was about: a big battle? A espionage attempt? A mutiny? Nietzsche would never find out, because he never opened them even though he wanted to very badly. He finally finished his patrol and made his way back to the guard station. He quickly handed over the scrolls and gave the guards a report of his findings. One guard quickly dispatched a cleaning team for the graffiti and they sent Nietzsche on his way. Nietzsche retuned to the mission center to get his pay. He then tuned to home to relax for the rest of the day. ( words: 506
