Dyren's Training Sessions
Wed Jun 27, 2012 9:22 pm
They had agreed to let Dyren train there. The smiling young jinchuuriki approached the familiar training grounds, and prepared his minds. It was a cold, windy night.
He then started to use his wind element to blow away several leaves that were lying on the ground, and then burnt them with his blue fire. Both elements were unstable and unprecise: His control over his and Nibi's chakra needed great training.
Dyren then made his wind spin over him, and then set it on fire: Not a very good strategy, as the beatiful turquoise flame engulfed him and almost left him burnt. The youn genin decided he needed more control over it first, and as so, made himself confortable and entered a meditation state.
He felt the green, light leaves flowing with the wind around him, and
the flames of the torches blazing in their shining beauty. It was
peaceful, and reminded him of his own power. His hair flowed with said
win, and he felt it's direction slowly change a little bit.
The genin had reached a state of internal peace, and used his Windy
Takedown Technique to blow the leaves to his direction. Dyren then tried
to let a small bit of flames hit the leaves, to no avail.
He proceeded in his meditation. He was lacking chakra, he was lacking the capability. The peace inside him grew considerably.
He could feel the wind moving the flames of the torches and making the lamps tramble. He could hear it's whispwering, feel it's call. Dyren was no longer confortable meditating there: He climbed to the roof of the academy, and there his meditation was much smoother.
He felt closer to the sky, closer to his dead parents, and simply let himself go...And then he fell to the ground, saving his own self from death using a small blow of wind before landing face down on the cold, stone ground.
Dyren ignored the pain, and continued to concentrate. He was feeling like he could move mountains(Which of course, he couldn't), the persistent young genin feeling himself slowly grow more powerful, more capable.
His chakra seemed to flow more naturally and peacefully, and it seemed like an anvil had been taken off his head. He was happy for only simply altering the flow of the wind a little bit, and then solved up he could pratice a few jutsu, the basics.
He first used the transformation technique, transforming into the girl he had met in Kiri the other day, and staying on her form for a while. Dyren planned to continue, but he was exausted, and headed home to sleep.
He returned the next day, his chakra reserves "full", and executed the substitution technique, smiling when a bunch of logs hit the ground he stood a few seconds ago. The young genin took a few minutes to catch his breath and crated a clone of himself, and proceeded to see at which degree he had control over the illusion.
He managed to control it for a few minutes before it vanished with the wind, and the boy, satisfied, proceeded to meditate again. At morning, torches and lamps were lacking, but the bright warm sun was there, together with the warm, calm wind.
Konohagakure was, at the same time, a more peaceful and more active place in the morning. Amazing, to put it simply. Dyren returned that place many times, until his chakra flow felt much more natural and light.
He felt ready to begin to train jutsu with his new element, Blue Fire, and spent many warm afternoons writing down techniques and testing them, all failing, but each showing more progress than the other. It was an unstable element, but still a very powerful one, specially when combined with his Wind element.
Dyren's meditation days continued to go on, and shall continue for many days: A jinchuuriki must have a lot of self-control, patience and a peaceful mind.

(Chakra Training)
Dyren started to train his chakra usage a lot recently, possibly
training for using his newest element, the gallant, interesting,
intriguing and suspiciously mysterious blue fire. The beauty of the warm
turquoise flame still fasinated his eyes greatly, and when combined to
the unrelenting power of his first element, the strong, violent and
invisible wind, the destructive power of said difficult combination was
very powerful and unstoppable. To think he could master the power of a
bijuu, this beatiful yet kind of murderous giant cat demon was somethign
that fascinated him to no end. His meditation sessions were lasting
longer recently, due to the growing nescessity to train his chakra fos
his new amazing combination of his primary element and his new one
obtained by the fact he is now a jinchuuriki. Dyren did not believe in
the rumors that the Nine Tails, Kurama, The Demon Fox, was more powerful
than his dear Matatabi, Nibi, Two Tails, The Demon Cat. The number of
tails could not determine the power of such a strong creature as a
bijuu, however the right amount of strategy and training, he was assured
he could defeat Kurama and whoever became it's jinchuuriki. As the days
passed, as the sunsets faded in the horizon, Dyren became more
powerful, more able to control his chakra and it's numerous uses: In the
state he started, he could barely control his combined elements for
five seconds. Now the had tested it numerous times against flat, brown
wooden planks, not that thick stone slabs and eventually even managed to
burn a training dummy to the ground, transforming it into ashes,
something he was not exactly rewarded for, but rather punished by the
lack of control of his use of his jutsu. As the young genin was using
his elements without actually using jutsu, the effects were without
control and numerous time rather disastrous. The Ninja Academy and it's
training grounds were full of pitch black burn marks of Dyren's previous
failed attempts to control both his natural element and the one that
came with his bijuu and the seal that contained it within him. However,
each failed attempt made him stronger, each burnt limb made him more
resistant to wounds and injuries, and each frustration that came one
fater another made him mind considerably more ready to overcome failures
and said frustrarions. That was good, because many of those would come
in the next weeks, together with some broken bones and several little
visits to the hospital. However, all could see the training was making
him a more battle ready and a more prepared person, his mood and his
control over his power growing more stable and at a more steady rythm.
The beast inside him, Matatabi, grew more satisfied of the discipline
the young genin, previously a slacker and just a lazy childish
prankster, had been investing in his training. Dyren now spent about
four hours a day just training quickly changing between the numerous
hand seals for more efficiency and agility in battle, and another four
hours writing possible techniques and jutsus to use, thinking of how to
apply certain effects in a way they were both combat effective and not
very chakra consuming. Most of the other hours of his day were spent
either training or eating ramen, and despire his admirable liking of the
later, his tight schedule didn't even allow him to eat as much as he
wanted recently. The young genin took a break every fifteen days, and
even on these days he only didn't train his chakra usage but still
studied theorically and wrote new jutsu ideas. Many of the people from
the village noticed how mature and more dedicated the young genin had
become recently, unaware of his new schedule. He also had been studying a
lot for the soon to be happening chuunin exams, as those exams, what they tested on their participants and the reward of said exam, the rank, were of great importance to Dyren. All of these would prove that his training was working properly, and that he was in the direction of becoming a better shinobi. Dyren fell ill after two months of this harsh training, not very seriously, however it did slow down the chakra training: Still, he kept writing new techniques and jutsus and did what he could in his weakened state. In a delightful surprise, he overcame the illness rather quickly, possibly because of his outstanding willpower in the last months. The young genin couldn't keep this tight, restrictful and lonely schedule for too long, as his social contact in the last months had suffered severely, as he had little to no time to talk to other people of his age. Besides, most other people of his age he knew were either training for the upcoming chuunin test, planning to hunt down missing nin or recovering from the fights that happened at the Bijuu Arena. Now that place was a weird one, massive bijuus nobody had ever seen before facing young shinobi in an all out battle where surprisingly, nobody died, but many got very close to it, and Dyren was one of them. How close he got to the embrace of death that day frequently remimded himself to be on his toes, as this is a time of danger and there is always people with bad or evil intentions, as there is always benefit to be gained from hurting other people. With the current rise of missing nin activity, Dyren's training gained a new meaning: Make sure he would be able to ensure the safety of his village and his friends if danger reached Konohagakure's gates. The young genin continued his strict training schedule, despite all the difficulties he began to face eventually, but overall he was becoming stronger and better for his village and his friends, and that's what kept him going all the time. Soon, he had changed so much from when he started his training schedule people from the Ninja Academy could barely recognize him as the same boy who frequently burned things down and commited mistakes an unusual number of times, and now stood before a reformed genin, a reformed, stronger and more capable Dyren Kitake.

(Chakra Training)
Time for more chakra training. The young genin concentrated as he began meditating again, and focused all of his stamina into clearing his mind and, well, beggining. Having the willpower to properly begin his hard worked, long and sincerely tedious chakra training. As the dim, beatiful and natural sunset arrived, the bright, smiling young genin stood up with a grin and started scrolling trough the multiple hand seal he had knowledge off, chuckling as he did so. What once proved to be such a great, boring, tedious nuisance was now merely a hobbie for the young jinchuuriki. His power was easy to show now, body flickering many times from one side to another, and then climbing a few buildings vertically with no sign of fear and without hesitating. He smiled as several people pointed at him as if he was executing something extraordinary, when that was pretty much simple, default jutsu that any shinobi knew. The time got past very fast as the multiple jutsu were trained and Dyren grew more tired, but more powerful. The control over his chakra reserves was amazing, something quite amusing to watch from an exterior point of view. He spent many hours on that constant training schedule, until he began to train his amazing new jinchuuriki abilities with the help of his bijuu, Nibi. They had developed a rather friendly relationship over time, Matatabi learning to trust him as he trusted his bijuu much more now. Sometimes the beast scolded him for being too carefree or silly, but they got along well most of the time. He had been getting better at controlling his new interesting element, despite it's unstability. His conversations with Nibi grew longer and more frequent in recent days, due to his control over his jutsu also improving considerably in the last few months. The beast has been without a jinchuuriki for considerable time, and sometimes mentioned how it's last host was a Mizukage, and a memorable one that is. Dyren has to admit he barely payed attention on these times, but greatly valued the beast's hints and tips in battle situations, as Matatabi was greatly experience, having lived a lot. As they grew closer and a bond developed, both considered each other as a friend, and a partner in life. Dyren's training with his chakra used continued to progress fairly well over time, his strict training schedule helping a lot on the long run. Dyren smiled as he noticed his own progress, and Nibi smiled beside him.

(Short Chakra Training)
Dyren would recover his breath, take a
break today. His training would continue, but today it would be easier,
more relaxing. Matatabi itself approved this little break, as Dyren's
body was full of aches and wounds from his harsher training sessions.
And as so, he started as always, revising his multiple hand seal
combinations, then a break for a short, but extremely convenient lunch
time, and then back to some basic, E-Rank jutsu training. He decided not
to train his Blue Fire element today, as it tired him greatly everytime
he used it, and just sat back whole using Substitution and
Transformation techniques for a while, the basics. Then, he body
flickered here and there, and then came back. The tranquility of this
day was greatly relaxing to him. He then spent most of the rest of the
day meditating while leaning on a tree, laid back, the leaves of said
tree warmed by the sun as they fell on top of him. Even shinobi needed a
break, he concluded after a while, and eve jinchuuriki needed a break.
He then went home after it got dark, served himself a bowl of Udon and
headed to sleep, preparing himself for the next day, where his harsh
training schedule would begin again. This was a good day, after all.
(With the exception of Nibi complaining on his ear on how lazy he was,
that is)
