[Flashback~]

Part One~

Last Words-

Those words were spoken by a ninja himself, with a waterfall forehead protector on his head with a group of ninjas behind him. But just who was he talking to, his eyes staring at one person. This one person was the one ninja you loved the best. Kai Fuuma when she was younger then she was, she had a much different more hot headed look on her which was pretty much funny to see. She had something back then that she never would have now. An sword, a blade used for slicing. She sighed at the group of ninjas before them, they had taught her all the things she wanted and a whole lot more. They just didn’t expect her to be so good at them, she became one of the best very quickly and they had just fled the waterfall village and had to fight there way out of the country. Now they finally were safe, for now and Kai wasn’t so sure about going on there little road trip with them for a few reasons. The first reason, was that she never really traveled on her own, and she wanted to know if she had enough skills to do so. Secondly, because she wanted to find some forbidden art jutsu on her own and maybe try to be something important in this world. She then looked up and was about to open her mouth until she had to do something real quick, and that was protect her life as she took a quick spin with her blade slicing the projectiles down as she turned around. The ninjas behind her got in a defensive stance ready for battle although they couldn’t see the opponent yet. Kai thought of a pretty basic plan, she sighed lightly as she spoke to her comrades who had faith in her abilities.



“They want all of us, all of you need to scatter . . . I’ll deal with these guys for your escape” Then one of them spoke “You’re the youngest one of us all, what makes you think we are going to leave you by yourself”




which to Kai was sweet, but she knew she could handle herself and the opponent was moving quickly towards there location “Look either stay here and give out our location so they can call reinforcements or go and wait for me at the boarders of this land so we can all make it out alive and unseen” She ran about 3 more meters away from the group and screamed “Here they come . . . Go!” that got there attention as they nodded behind her and disappeared from view. She looked up to the dark sky, this was the moment she had to herself to prove that she was capable of handling herself. Her chakra gauge was full, personality was ready for a challenge, and senses ready for anything. The night was silent but far from sleep as she felt it coming in the air “Here they come” Three figures from the air appeared making there way downwards in her direction, and to be honest to her they didn’t look so friendly. Pasting herself as she prepared herself for action.



She was finally going to see for her own eyes the fruit of her training and everything she had to offer, this time she was fighting for her life. Her own life and no one else’s which gave her a bit more grace as she breathed a little bit. Just as she expected it to be, a good seven seconds three thud sounds were heard as three ninjas that came straight from water fall village landed pretty loudly on the ground about 12 meters in front of Kai. She placed her sword back in its holster on her hip, as she looked at them. They all had different style of clothing on but you could smell the water fall on them and could just tell. She at this time was 5’6, which is a bit shorter then her current state but that meant nothing to her and the skills she was going to give off right now. “So I suppose your not just going to just turn around and pretend you never saw me huh” was what she said to them, although knowing all too well that it was never going to happen like that. They looked at each other, and quickly back at her and shaking there head almost at the same time. Which was something that Kai understood as she nodded to the men who looked much older then her as she got in a stance “I see, well then lets begin to dance the night away” They started there advance very quick as they began running forward as the two on the end jumped forward about two meters ahead then split in two different directions then at the same time they went in for a slash with there swords. If there was one thing to admit it was that the timing of the teamwork was perfect to the point where she gave off a bit of a smirk as the moment they came she did a mini jump just enough to go over them but the moment her foot hit the grass the one in the middle was already a good meter coming for a impale attack to the heart. She has to react fast because she knew the other two wasn’t going to wait for long before they start on there offensive attacks. The feeling of being on defense was not strange, but rather difficult trying to protect yourself from three ninjas at the same time was threatening, but she couldn’t stress it at all.




The blade moved closer and closer, to Kai the temperature was dropping and dropping. She using the grace of her legs quickly and with the good timing turned to the left while performing one back step. Meaning she managed to dodge the attack, she didn’t want to stand for long as she leaped forward placing her left leg on the one in front of her. This wasn’t meant for a offensive purpose but mostly for movement and as she leaped off him moving even forward she went for a double foot kick to the one on the right which he ended up blocking. The block was so conditioned she bounced off of it as went flipping over the one she just stepped on to get to the last. The moment she got back on the ground she preformed a slick side roll dodging a fatal downward slash. Which gave her a cunning opening causing her to swiftly move in with a size kick straight to the face sending him to the ground. While the other two watched there comrade hit the ground by a sixteen year old. This was the feeling she wanted almost all her life every time, to be able to do this all on her own. Her breathing was fine as she placed her leg back on the ground and got in a stance looking at the other two ninjas who were still standing up.






She then remembered a few sayings that wasn’t really something she would ever pay attention to back then but now it call came clear to her and she was almost using them. “Relax and breathe, this gives you a chance to calm down and gives opportunity to react in a manner that may be more successful in your hand” Which was given by one of the ’Lower Power’ ops, due to when she was younger she was hot headed and always wanted to use the strongest move on the opponent and blow them out of the park. But soon enough she was taught better then that, to make sure she can do everything else. The fallen shin obi slowly made his way back up to stand, by then the other two were by his side. Kai using her left arm grabbed on to the hilt of her saber. Slowly pulling it out of the holster from her side, she ended up pointing it at all of them ready for guard. As she debated mentally weather she should take the offensive approach and move for the attack. Kai then found her answer, making her first step as she began to dash towards the three ninjas.




One ran towards her to combat with her first, there swords clashed about three times before the fourth the clash turned out to be a struggle. Both trying to overpower the other, as the other ones just sit and watch. Kai usually had a special ninjutsu or something slick up her sleeves. Was she testing herself? Is there a possibility that she wanted to try close combat instead?- Then both of the ninjas jumped back instantly, Kai wasn’t feeling tired at all and judging by the look on his face neither was he. They jumped a good five meters apart from each other. “Alright, you seemed to be able to keep up with all three of us when it comes down to movement and close-quarters combat . . . . Now It’s time for ninjutsu.” said the one she just got done meeting with her blade. Kai gave him a nod, and the other two nods towards the both of them and took a few more jumps back and waited. Kai then took a mental note, saying that It could be a possibility that she was going to fight them one on one. Which was perfect and even better then what she needed. Her chakra will always continue to rise as theirs will continue to deplete. Swiftly place her sword back in her holder, as she began to form her chakra throughout her body so she can let out her techniques at a flexible rate as she watch her opponent flash through a few hand seals.




He then took his stance, bending his upper body back a bit as he opened his mouth with his arms in a bent positioned with his fist balled. ‘ A suiton technique by the looks of it, lets see what I have to match it’ was the mental process she thought. Then he huffed, he puffed, then finally he shot a small but highly pressured stream of water towards the grass, but by the results of the grass getting split in by the water Kai could tell it wasn’t a pushover technique. She began her process by running, to the left as the water behind her advancing the other ninjas laughing at her course of action. Then moving to the left, placing some chakra into her feet as she went for a burst of speed towards her opponent completely dodging the stream. He stopped the stream, then blew a lake full of water out of his mouth in a attempt to stop her movement. This is where she while still in high speed movement she began to make some hand seals, three to be detailed. She had so much confidence in this attack it wasn’t even funny, as she got about four meters away she didn’t even have to inhale for breathe she just shot a high pressured fireball.




A technique created and used by Kakuzu the one she prized the most, called ’fire release: Intelligent hard work’, she got a strong grasp on this technique. It moved through the air forward and once it hit the water it exploded to a quite big fire storm, due to Kai being unaffected by that level of fire she smirked as the technique was so enhanced it quickly wiped out most of the water out turning it into a mist or a fog of heat if you will. It was so thick that her opponent couldn’t see, which was his downfall. Performing one hand seal as she ran towards the man for an attack as she leaped through the air with her saber once again for a slash downward, which was blocked. She swung upward only for her attack to be dodged by a jump to the air. This is where it all comes to play.



This is one of Kai’s clever techniques created for a very unexpected and detailed kill. The tactic was pretty drawn in, as the opponent used a water jutsu for offense, meanwhile Kai plot was to use a fire jutsu to mix in with the opponent jutsu for a effect of Kai pleasure. Which in this case was to blind his opponent and give him a weapon, and in this case the weapon was heat throughout the whole air. Which was used to form a deadly weapon, which was a hundred needles of heat in the air. The whole sword attack was just a cover up so he wouldn’t focus and relax himself enough to notice the needles above him. He jumped into the air, which was his death right there. As he smirked while having a few hand seals preformed as he shouted “Water Rel--” was the count down, to think a thousand heat needles attack in speed unexpected.




Kai releasing the hand position she had it, covering the whole man’s body causing blood to drip from everywhere as she turned her body in the most epic way possible. She could feel the heat in the air, and her emotions wasn’t effected at all, he shouted once more and this time it caught his teammates attention and heart. She didn’t feel any sweat on her body, the heat mist was slowly clearing as you could hear a sound, the sound of a body hitting the ground. Kai had officially gotten ride of the first one who seemed like a bad pest. Her clothing was still perfectly fit on her body, in seconds at his point the mist had fully cleared and her eyes straight at her opponent. Her opponents were three meters apart from each other. She still could see the water fall forehead protector on there head. She could see that they weren’t going to leave or get scared. Kai Fuuma had a time limit about dealing with these ninjas, if she didn’t in time reinforcements would think they can’t handle it and arrive soon. Her opponents could see there fallen comrades behind her as they knew she had to be the real deal. One slip up and that’s there ass, they then took there stance. Kai opinion on that was simple.

‘They better pull out all the stops, and move quickly’

with that mental process in mind, it was a tense few seconds before the one on the right of the two decided to take first action, and by that he placed his hands together in a praying slash hand seal formation. Meaning he was about to summon something in Kai dictionary, which she was right. She at first couldn’t quite hear anything at all. Then using the bottom of her feet she could feel the grass becoming very watery, or something of the substance. Not being able to put a finger on it was pretty bad, as a ninja you but always know. Kai reaction to this was to simply wait as she found a good footing to whatever was about to come.



As her eyes for a moment went to the grass, which to her surprise had been covered by the wonders of water. Raising her right leg upward then the left with the use of chakra to stand on the chakra. Her eyes back up at her opponents, which by then the winds started to calm down some making her feel better although there seemed to be a very bothersome problem. They seemed to have disappeared from there location while her eyes was on the water. ‘Just great’ then she felt a tap, on her foot. She knew the tactic all too well. It was for high ranking suiton users to try and drown there opponent. That’s when she knew that the tap was someone having a hold on to her leg, which in seconds she was completely underwater getting dragged down. As she held her breathe, her eyes closed for a moment as she thought to herself before she began to panic.




Then she opened her eyes as she moved her legs using her chakra to break free from the clutches of her opponents arms. Then one pump from her feet which touched his left shoulder she blasted out of the water. As she went up into the sky, she didn’t quite realize that she was like a good 20 meters high into the sky. Her hair danced above her as her wet clothing pressed up against her body which was becoming more hotter by the millisecond due to her expressing some fire chakra. As she looked down her body in a jumping stance while in mid-air she noticed something was beginning to form using the water as she preformed a few hand seals as she concentrated on her hands. She could feel the heat of her chakra rise around her hands as she could hear the roaring of a lion in her heart. As she opened her eyes to her hads she had created the lion fist like a few times before successfully. Her goal was to knock her opponent out of the water with this power she had. Then she felt it.

First step was knowing right? What she learned so far from her training and this battle was now clashing between her eyes and her brain. Processing of battling was not easy as her movements, she had been through a lot through the weeks of her defection of her own village. She never really thought about how she felt much about it, she was just in the moment and she had a choice on what was more important. At the end of the day she choose her friends, her own criminals beyond the village hidden beneath the waterfalls. Thinking of her friends she would now have to go against was quite a hard thing to deal with at the age of sixteen, but if there was one thing she always had when she progressed in this lifetime was understanding. She understood that for now, for just this moment in time she wasn’t fighting off of any emotion at all and right now she was having the time of her life.



As a second went by, her heart beat once again. She made a few guesses, her eyes stuck on the water as she slowly started to motion herself forward making her head face the water by every mili-second until she came onto a halt. This position is exactly what she wanted, as her eyes closed for a moment. Splash. You could feel the tensest within the air as she still felt the beautiful flames of the lion ready for action, her body was in a position of a bullet. She was waiting to add the final timing stages. There was no wind around her, but the beast coming out of the water was decreasing the lake that the ninja had created. It was a Serpent head a neck, made of complete water of not knowing how large it can keep going. It was one thing for sure though. The control of the beast was in the water and she knew exactly how to get to him. The camera would slowly but gracefully pay close attention to her feet. Why? Is simple, OH SHE JUST LIFT OFF using her fire chakra to burst that through the soles of her feet.



This caused her to once again use herself as a human bullet. Air slicing through the whole atmosphere, why didn’t she have any fear? Did she really understand that some things are to be moved? The speed she was moving at was quite fast, as her eyes open as her neck shot up so she could clearly see what she was looking, moving and focusing on. Her game was on a scale of one hundred, she knew was she was doing as the lions on her hands went another roar as she could feel herself getting closer as she didn’t want to take a breather just yet. Her opponent charged at her with the attempt to bit her, which was its first mistakes as she moved her arms up opening up the lions ripping straight through the water teeth. Into the mouth of the serpent sounded like it could be a good idea, although there could be a good idea she was moving way to fast for that as she moved through the waters and out the back of the throat and instead of flying right out and soaring into the air her plot of a mind activated and she thought of a batter idea as the moment she got to the edge using her chakra she grabbed on to the end.



The end of the edge she was coming out of then began to slide down it using her lion fist to burn it along the way down. The heat mist started to form in the air again but this time a lot faster before as the serpent screamed out in pain. That was never her problem, she kept moving thinking lightly and only lightly. Where she trained she found that one of the only way to truly master the fire element is by thinking destructive, none of that sweet stuff think of really wanting to burn down your opponent and you shall succeed; hence is probably why she finished her training so quickly. She could feel the wind picking up faster and faster as she felt she was getting closer to her opponent, her hair all in the wind as her heart beat a quick enough beat just to satisfy her need for peace and violence. Removing the lions from the water, slowly she released the chakra from her feet allowing her to once again slip inside the monster, but this time in its stomach.



Performing a small flip, her position was once again moving towards the end. See she was moving down the tunnel, and in the tunnel was no water, around the tunnel was the body full of water so as long as she stay in the middle. She couldn’t feel it anymore, but she knew she could see him clearly. He didn’t notice her driving right for him at first but by the time he looked over to see her it was to late. She slammed right into his chest and the pressure mixed with her releasing a bit of her chakra in a outward bursting manner once making contact in the lion caused a bit of a explosion and one last lion roar through the field. When she opened her eyes she was holding her breath and her second opponent stricken down like a dog.




She knew she wasn’t done yet, she had one more prey she had to cut down before she could walk home. This time it would have to be more quieter then before. She waited while inside the water for her opponent to make a move, as he stood on top of a tree a good range of meters away from her. She took no time getting out of the water, standing on the other side of the river as the man smirked at the girl giving her a round of applause thinking he won.

“You’ve taken down both of my teammates and your boldly still standing, I can see why you were one of the best jounin of the waterfall . . . . But there is a difference between your power and mine”

With that said he clapped his hands together. For a moment it seemed like nothing, then you could feel the lake started to move at a violent rate. In seconds the water made its appearance, what the jutsu he was trying to no actually succeeded in pulling off was quite the handy work. A gigantic hand made of condense water to the max. Kai had no way she could think of actually taking that jutsu down. She never thought to look at the water techniques within the waterfall profiles. She could do nothing but look at the large hand keep forming itself. Once she felt like she lost, the battle though giving up wasn’t an option the water just dropped. Kai was looking with a stupid look on her face as the jutsu failed as if its been interrupted and when she looked forward she could see one of HER higher ops actually taken down her opponent for her.

“You did a good job . . . ."

Silently Danzo slept in a large field of tall grass making it hard for anyone that had happened to pass by him any time soon. It was night fall an also gave Danzo the advantage of not being seen. His eyes where closed and his hands crossed over his chest as he fell into a deep sleep, and only one thing would be able to wake him up which was sun light. Danzo dreamed about his days back at the village when he was a Genin. He was a unliked person or so thats what the other people said an was one of the reasons Danzo went missing, and now working with the Mizukage made him get a shiver down the spine of his back as he laid resting. This only bothered Danzo a little because for the words of her, he would be receiving good power and Danzo was game for that. An thats all that really matters to him.

It had only been a couple hours since Danzo was sleeping, and he was damn sure enjoying it too tell the sun light began to beat down on his face. Opening one eye Danzo looked straight at the sun while making a weird look on his face, it was killing him. Slowly opening the other eye he started shaking his head. "This is Ridiculous" Danzo said as he slowly sat up allowing his pupils to adjust to the crucial sun. He had looked all around his but could only see tall grass an that bothered him for some reason so he immediately stood up to see even more grass. "Hmmm" Is all Danzo could say as he started thinking because he knew that he was supposed to do something today. All that Danzo could think about was the dream that he was having that he could hardly remember. The only thing that came to his head was Kiri. He wasn't sure if it had something to do with it or not but he would figure it out soon enough. Moving his feet Danzo started walking through the tall grass trying to remember what he was supposed to do. Then it hit him as soon as he emerged from the tall grass and was now on a dirt path.

"Mizukage" Danzo said as he pulled his cigarettes out of his pocket and placed one in his mouth, he then brought a flam and started to puff the cigarette. As he continued walking he thought of the Mizukage, it had only been two days since he last met her and was supposed to go see her and train or something. She hadn't even told him where it was but gave him a map to follow making things more complicated. Danzo pulled out the map from his back pocket, unfolded it and started looking at it trying to figure out where he was going. Good thing Danzo knew Kiri so good because he knew exactly where he was going but was didnt know if the place was in sight, he would find out sooner or later. Folding the map back up and into his pocket Danzo grabbed the smoked cigarette from his mouth and threw it in front of him then stepped on it As he headed for the Mizukages Chamber that only those two knew of.

It had been hours since Danzo has been walking tell he came to a complete stop to pull out the map. From the looks of it Danzo was in the correct spot but there was no door which means it was hidden, Danzo looked all around tell he found a opening almost like a cave. Walking into the cave it led him somewhere where he had to climb up a rock then down another tunnel. He entered a large room that looked pretty bad ass, Danzo had taken a liking to the place. He walked all the way in as he focused a good amount of chakra into his feet allowing him to stand on the water that he below his feet. No one was there from the looks of it and Danzo starting whistling to a nice tone with his hands behind his back. He wore a white cloak this time and a Black normal mask that didn't resemble the Mist village whatsoever, and last but not least his Sword that was attached to his back. While whistling Danzo looked to the top of the chamber and wondered where she was at and how long he was going to have to sit here, he was an impatient guy.
