E-Rank mission: weeding

Ayumi was walking towards a house near the hills in Konoha. Today her mission was pulling out weeds. She didn’t want to do the mission since she thought that it was a waste of her time, but a mission is a mission. She walked towards the house and knocked on the door. A few minutes later, a smiling and friendly looking old woman opened the door. “Good Morning” said Ayumi bowing deeply. “I’m here to pull out your weeds”. ”Oh yes. Come on in.” she said smiling. Ayumi walked in and followed the old woman. The woman led Ayumi towards her garden. It was medium in size and was full of weeds. “So here it is. Remember, don’t pull out the vegetables or the flowers” She said. Ayumi nodded and the woman went in. “Okay, here goes” said Ayumi. She walked towards what seemed to be a weedy vegetable bed or should she say a weed bed since she can’t even see any vegetables at all. Wow it so full of weeds she thought. She kneeled and started to pull out the weeds. She took hold of a weed and pulled it, but nothing happened. Ugh…come on stupid weed! Get outta there! You’re wasting my precious time! She thought. She tried to pull the weed again, but it didn’t even budge at all. She sighed and took out her kunai. She bought a kunai with her anyway although her mission was to pull out weeds. She thought that it would came in handy to her. She then took her kunai and stabbed it in the ground. She started to use her kunai as a spade, digging it in the earth and trying to dig it out. After she got the first weed out, she laid it on the ground beside her. Then, she started to work on the weed beside it and continued working on the next. After pulling out a bunch of weeds, she saw a hint of pink and green on the vegetable bed. It was a flower, small and beautiful and beside it was a kind of vegetable. The more weeds she pulled, the more vegetables and flowers appeared. After she was finished with the bed, there was a whole bunch of vegetables and some flowers on the bed. Wow! They’re so pretty! Ayumi thought, admiring the flowers. Ayumi! Stop dreaming! You still have a lot of weeds to pull! She said to herself. Ayumi continued to pull out the weeds. The more weeds she pulled out the easier it became. It then took her only 15 minutes to clean out the weedy garden. The old woman came out when Ayumi was pulling the last weed out. The old woman went to one of her clean vegetable beds and pulled out 6 of the small, pink flowers. She then went over to where Ayumi was and gave her the flowers. “Here’s a little present for you for cleaning out my garden” she said, smiling. “I saw you looking at them, so I decided that I should gave you some as a present.” She said. “Oh. Uhh…thank you” said Ayumi bowing. ”I’m almost finish with your garden. I just have to throw the weeds away” Ayumi said. Then she picked up all of the weeds and threw them in the bin. “There! I’m done.” She said, grinning. “Thank you so much” said the old woman.
