Re: Navi and Sachiko's Missions List
Sun Aug 19, 2012 8:42 pm
Sachiko practically glowerd at Navi's words, pleasantly suprised at the fact her mentor/ teamate/ friend thought so highly of her before turning her gaze to the group of bandits. She grinned ferally, her sky blue eyes becoming predatory. "Ok, Navi- sensei," she said, smirking as she dashed, focusing on her chakra and forming the hand- signs to the Illusionary Clone Jutsu.
They were merely bandits, so they wouldn't be able to tell the difference between a regular clone and a shadow one. It helped that they were in a sewer as well and there was little to no light for her clones to cast a shadow or grass to flatten under her feet.
As soon as the two other clones appeared, the three of them each took out a weapon. One of the clones took out a sword while the other took out a bow and arrow and the real Sachiko hurriedly tied some ninja wire on a shruiken along with an explosive tag, deliberately throwing it to the left a couple inches away from the group of bandits. They snorted as it missed them.
"Is that all you got?" one of the bandits sneered.
"Not quite," Sachiko grinned as she saw the horrified faces of the bandits as they exploded before inwardly grimacing. Why... why don't I feel anything from killing them? I feel... numb, if anything... Have I killed so many people that I no longer feel sad when I kill them? The young girl thought in horror, her face paling slightly as she saw the crimson color of blood staining the concrete walls of the spacious sewer.

Sachiko had made short work of the bandits, a splatter of insides and blood filled the tunnel as her attack had destroyed them both. Navi put his arm around Sachiko for just a moment, a ninja is always supposed to be cold, but for Sachiko he made an exception. "Good work, your actions here today resulted in the completion of a mission, which means Konoha is that much safer because of you. It's ninja like us who get our hands dirty that makes our family and village so much safer. I'm proud of you." Navi smiled as he said this, a touch of warmth in his voice. This was extremely rare for Navi to do, but he felt it was necessary for Sachiko to hear and be reassured she was doing the right thing.
Navi sighed now, returning to his normal self. "Let's get out of here now, it stinks." Navi leapt out of the sewer through the manhole and back onto the streets of the village, waiting for Sachiko to follow.
[WC: Completed. Post once more and then a new mission topic, or you can just end the mission and start a new one, your choice.]

(Ok, Navi, thanks! ^-^)
Sachiko blushed profusely at the praise and the truth of the words, successfully reassured. She smiled softly and said, "Thanks, Navi- sensei."
The young girl then giggled at his words. "Ok!" she brightly stated before following Navi out of the manholee and back into the crowded streets of the village, her sky blue eyes bright.

Mission Name: Missing Lunch
Rank: C
Type: Intel
Character Requirements: None
Word Count Requirements: 600
Repeatable? Yes
Reward: 700 Ryo
Task: Someone has been stealing food from both the members of the village, citizen and shinobi alike, and the shops. Find out who said person is and report who the person is, and where he is hiding. Make sure to not be caught or else the person may run.
The azure sky was bright from the radiant sun but was littered with several white, puffy clouds in the village of Konohagakure.
A young girl with fiery red hair and sky blue eyes slightly sighed as she read the mission details to her latest mission. Really? A FOOD THIEF for a C- Rank mission? Honestly, it paid a fair amount of money, but why in the world would this be a C Rank? A mission like this should be a D- Rank! After all, the mission would be a breeze with someone as skilled as her teamate/ mentor/ friend, Navi alongside a great ninja like her!
Sachiko then shrugged before grinning happily as a thought entered her head. This would be another mission on her record and she would be one step closer to becoming a Chunin!

Re: Navi and Sachiko's Missions List

Navi was getting bored of these missions, although even an A-rank would seem boring at this point. Navi contemplated taking Sachiko on an S-rank mission, but there wouldn't really be a point since it wouldn't count towards Sachiko's requirements for making Chuunin. Navi instead told himself that there wouldn't be too many left, then he could leave all the petty missions behind.
Navi arrived in his standard Jounin attire, this mission involved a food thief somehow. When Navi was a Genin and he did this mission it actually turned out to be a gang of cats that were food thieves.
Navi had an even more bored look on his face then last time, yawning slightly. "Alright Sachiko, lets get this over with, what do we need to take care of today?" He wanted to get all of these missions over quickly. Sachiko was already at Chuunin level with her skill set, he would recommend her for the position as soon as she completed her mission requirements.

Sachiko turned to her mentor/teamate/friend Navi and grinned before stating seriously, "Navi- sensei, today we're looking for a food thief who has been stealing from the villagers and shinobi. We're supposed to find out who the person is and where they're hiding and report to a higher up-- not capture them. There's a warning on the bottom that says not to get caught or they may run."
After her explanation Sachiko's face formed a thoughtful expression before asking curioulsy, "Navi- sensei, do you think we should go ask the citizens/ shinobi who were stolen from for more information? Or just search for the guy and/ or girl?"
Sachiko was eager to get this mission over with so she could move on to the next one. Only a few more before she became a Chunin!

Navi listened to Sachiko's explanation and question. "Navi- sensei, do you think we should go ask the citizens/ shinobi who were stolen from for more information? Or just search for the guy and/ or girl?"
Navi thought about it for a few moments. "I think it would be faster to split the work load, I'll get a vantage point from the rooftops to see if I can spot anyone. You should ask around to see what information you can dig up." This wasn't a combat mission so there was no reason to stick together with Sachiko or cover her. Besides, the mission would be completed faster this way.

Sachiko nodded at her mentor/teamate/friend in agreement, saying, "Ok, Navi- sensei!" It was an intelligent and efficient plan. The young girl then dashed away in the somewhat crowded streets of Konohagakure to a small house. After knocking on the wooden door and a young woman with bright blonde hair and chocolate brown eyes appeared, Sachiko asked multiple questions such as:
"Do you happen to have any extra information you could give me regarding the mission of finding the food thief?"
"Are you sure? Any clues such as: footprints, ID's, footage, fingerprints, clothing ?"
"Cool! So, what is it?"
"Awesome! Can you show me these footprints?"
The woman answered each question respectively:
"Sorry, no."
"Actually... yes. Something like that."
"We found something resembling large pawprints few feet away from where the food was stolen."
"... Can you just leave me alone already?"
After much persuasion the woman finally consented by leading the young girl to a small round, wooden table. There, approximately four feet away from the table were large pawprints resembling that of a dogs. Sachiko grinned triumphantly, thanked the woman, and dashed away to inform Navi of her findings.

Navi hadn't seen anything up on his vantage point. No suspicious characters or strange food thief looking people. Although after awhile he did see Sachiko bolt out of the door after answering some questions. Maybe she had found something useful from her searching?
Navi jumped off the rooftop and landed in front of her. A tiny dustcloud puffed up as his feet landed on the road. "What did you find?" he asked.

(It's ok, Navi! ^-^)
Sachiko straightened her back and let out a bright grin. "I found out that several feet away from the place where the food was stolen is a set of pawprints that looks like a dog's. So I think that the culprit is a stray dog of some kind!" the young girl said before adding, "The pawprints looked fresh as well, so the stray dog is probably close by, Navi- sensei."
