Re: Navi and Sachiko's Missions List
Tue Aug 21, 2012 4:57 pm
A stray dog huh.. that sounds just like last time. Navi told Sachiko to go find the pawprint trail and catch the dog. In the mean time he took out two shuriken and started attaching a length of wire to each of them. "If you chase him down an alley I can block the exit with wire, otherwise just run after and try to catch him. I'll tie him up with wire if I can."
Unfortunately they were in a village surrounded by people. Killing the dog would be cruel and pointless, even if it would be easier. Navi waited for Sachiko to run off to find the tracks and start the pursuit. In the mean time, he jumped up to a rooftop and followed Sachiko's position. If she couldn't catch it, his wire would do the trick. From the rooftop vantage point, he could also provide lookout and call down to Sachiko if needed.

Sachiko nodded in understanding towards her mentor/ teamate/ friend before dashing toward the place of the pawprint trail. After several minutes of tailing it, the young girl finally found a small dark brown dog surrounded by food. She had found the food thief... now how would she lead him to an alleyway? Hm... she suddenly grinned deviously, grabbing a kunai.
The young girl then began to run toward the dog as fast as she could, causing the startled dog to jump slightly before zipping away. For many moments Sachiko pursued the dog until she finally led it to a dead end. Once they reached it, the dog whirled around and let out a snarl, fighting as a last resort.
"Now, Navi- sensei!" the girl called out.

Navi threw both shuriken, trailing the wire behind it. Using his fingers, Navi twirled the wire around the dog and pulled it tight, binding him completely. The dog whimpered a little bit when it realized it was completely trapped. They had captured the food thief and could now take it back to a dog shelter where it wouldn't be so troublesome. The mission was finally complete.

(Is this alright? If so, let's begin rping, may I please say! ^-^)
Mission Name: Village Status
Rank: C
Type: Repair
Character Requirements: None
Word Count Requirements: 800
Repeatable? Yes
Reward: 1000
Task: The gates have been ruined, assist other shinobi and repair men in fixing the gates.
Sachiko stared at the saphire blue sky, frowning slightly as she held the mission scroll in her grasp. Today's mission was important in its own right concerning Konohagakure, but would no doubt be boring. Sighing slightly, she closed the scroll and waited for her mentor/friend/teamate, Navi, to arrive in the clearing of the forest surrounded by gigantic trees.
The young red headed girl shivered at the cool temperature of the air that morning before attempting to cheer herself up. At least there was no chance of dieing in this mission, right? ... Although... there was absolutely positively no hint of excitement at all. At that thought, she slumped against the (surprisingly) comfortable tree she was leaning against in sadness.

[Sure]
Navi showed up dressed in all Jounin attire. Navi had become a member of the ANBU Black Ops, but this was top secret information. When out on lower rank missions or if just walking around he would always assume the rank of Jounin. Being an ANBU usually meant he had much less time to himself, especially in war times. This time there was another C-ranked mission, which Navi was very bored by. When he arrived at the scene he could see that Sachiko was bored too. Repairing the gates was a mission that would rank slightly above washing dishes on an excitement level. As Navi approached Sachiko for any details on the mission he wondered how many more of these lower rank missions they had to do before Sachiko could reach Chuunin. The whole process was becoming a chore to him.

(Cool~! :D)
Sachiko grinned happily as she saw her mentor/friend/teamate, Navi, approach her. "Hey, Navi- sensei!" the fiery young girl said, noticing his slightly slumped posture that screamed: 'I'm bored!'
Man, even Navi- sensei's bored! the young girl thought to herself inwardly while outwardly explaining the mission to Navi. "Navi- sensei, today's mission says that we have to repair the village gates. We'll get 1000 ryo each if we successfully complete the mission."
Sachiko's sky blue eyes widened at what she said before hastily grabbing out the mission details and re- reading it to make sure she said the correct amount of pay. After checking, she had a surprised expressioin on her face. 1000 ryo for repairing the village gates? What had the world come to? However, the more cynical side of her had a theory behind the high pay for the mission. It was so boring and uneventful that rarely anyone ever accepted the mission, causing the village gates to be in disrepair.
Sachiko's eyes filled with determination at the last thought. If the village gates were in bad condition, then Konohagakure was more susceptible to being attacked. So, in order to protect her beloved village, she would, along with Navi, repair the gates to the best of her ability!

Navi sighed heavily, the mission gave slightly more pay then he expected but he felt it would still be painfully boring. Navi looked up at the sky for a few moments before slowly walking towards the construction site where no doubt several village members were already working to busily repair the gates. Navi entered the site and noticed that several workers were carrying large steel pillars, and placing them to reinforce the gate. They were extremely heavy though, and looked like they were having trouble. Navi rushed to their aid and gripped the steel pillar next to them, taking a large portion of the load as they kept walking towards the placement area.
Sachiko would probably see some operation being performed or construction work that she could go help out with. It would be a long day assisting the construction workers, but with a couple shinobi in the mix at least the project would go a little faster. This would be very uninteresting work and Navi braced himself for another boring mission. As Navi heaved up the steel pillar and assisted the construction workers to snap it into place, he looked over to see where Sachiko was and what she was doing.

Meanwhile, the tiny girl was beginning to regret ever thinking this mission would be 'boring', as she was attempting to carry a large steel pillar, ultimately failing. Sweat poured down her face as she panted heavily with effort, muttering words incoherently under her breath. This is impossible! the young girl thought irritably, scowling before an idea popped into her head, evicting a bright grin. She decided she would use perch ontop of one of the gates and ues her ninja wire to manuevar supplies and refreshments to the workers.
Hurriedly, the girl tied each of her ninja wires onto the baskets of supplies, tools, and bottles of water scattered across the ground, before beginning to climb the tall village gates. Grinning proudly, the girl then began to manipulate each string in such a way to carry the essentials to workers that seemed to tire out, and in need of tools.
This was such a great idea, the fiery haired prankster thought to herself smugly, mentally patting herself on the back.

Navi smiled as Sachiko had seemed to have figured out a creative way to help around the construction and repair site. Navi continued to help out by carrying heavy things around, usually the large steel pillars that would need to be carefully snapped into place to reinforce the massive doors of the leaf village. To fulfill the mission they would only have to work a bit more, which was fortunate because this work was very tedious, and not cut out for the life of a ninja. Navi and Sachiko worked independently of one another to fulfill separate goals, and very soon the gates would be finished.
