Primmys Training (Navi, Primmy)

Primmy, was slightly frustrated, as usual she was not a morning person, but she had been forced to get up and go to training. That's okay with Primmy though, she actually enjoys training. While waiting for Navi sensei, she thought she would try something, a move she saw him do. "His fire trick was awesome." Primmy thought out loud. She held her right hand up and attempted to imitate the one handed fire jutsu.

Navi seemingly materialized in the training field due to raw speed. He looked over to see Prim copying his fire jutsu with amusement. "Chakra talent to the ability of using one hand is something you are born with, you can't learn that kind of control. Besides, you don't even have the necessary chakra reserve yet to perform a fire jutsu with both hands."

Navi walked over and took a deep breath. Today she would make sure she knew the clone technique so she could be ready for the Genin exam. "Do you remember what I said yesterday?" he started.

She looked at Navi kind of wondering where he came from. "Where? How?" She looked around, how had she not seen him? Oh well, she figured she wasn't paying attention whenh he walked out there.. "Yes, I remember our conversation, and I was working on the hand signs, I think I can do it." She said smiling. She began to focus hard breathing deeply. She started making the hand signs and focusing on her hands. She wanted to make him proud of her so she was determined to get it right. as she did the last sign, she closed her eyes, which had become a very bad habit for Primmy which was caused by fear of not getting it right.

Prim seemed to be somewhat ignoring him and was determined to do a fire jutsu, but he had an idea to get her back on track. "Right well, when your ready to become a Genin so I can teach you some REAL jutsu, let me know." Navi leaned against his favorite tree and smiled to himself. He knew she already knew what she was supposed to do. She needed to be able to perform an illusionary clone jutsu. Once she was able to she would know both of the jutsu she needed to become a Genin. Then Navi would have a another test with a special surprise for her. First things first though, Navi waited for Prim to overcome her inability to do fire jutsu and start practicing the clone jutsu he had taught her earlier.

Once she became a Genin Navi would probably start teaching her some powerful offensive jutsu, but she would need to first graduate the academy before he could make any real progress with her.

Primmy growled in frustration. "Simple fire jutsu and I just can't do it!!" Then she remembered words she had heard earlier from someone else.
"Make Genin in a week..." those words echoed in her head. She looked over at Navi. "Sorry Navi-sensei." Primmy said. "Yesterday you were talking about me doing clone jutsu, I remember those signs to. She began to focus on cloning herself. She felt like she was robotically moving her hands as she began to do the signs. At the last part, instead of closing her eyes like she likes to do she kept them open.

While she performed the handsigns Navi noticed that she kept her eyes open instead of how she would normally close them. After ten or twenty seconds of concentration a clone of herself blinked into place. If she practiced this jutsu she may be able to create two or three clones, but after a few seconds Prim's clone immediately disappeared. It was excellent for a first try, she should try performing techniques and ninja skills with her eyes open more often.

"If you'd like, we can start your next test, but you should practice that jutsu just a couple more times, just to make sure you have it down for the Genin Exam." By the end of today's training session, she would be ready for the Genin exam and a whole new style of training.

"Navi-Sensei, besides fire jutsus and ninjitsu, can you teach me genjutsu to?"Primmy decided to ask him. She had a drive to finally learn, and she wanted to learn as much as she can. She was jumping ahead of herself but thats just how Primmy is. Then she realized he said Genin exam. "Whats the Genin exam exactly going to be like?" She asked Navi. As much as Primmy wanted to be one, she was very nervous. Primmy knew Navi was a good teacher after all, she hadn't been able to do alot of the techniques until he trained her.

Navi frowned, ninjutsu had always been his specialty, even taijutsu came naturally to him, but he never really trained much in genjutsu. He'd have to look into it more before he trained Prim. Whatever he wanted to teach her, whether it was Genjutsu or Ninjutsu, would take a backseat priority to her completing the Genin exam.

"Whats the Genin exam exactly going to be like?" she asked him.

"It's pretty simple," Navi began. "Just go up to the front of the class and prove you can perform a transformation jutsu and clone jutsu. If you perform the jutsu well enough you pass, get a leaf ninja headband, and the title of Genin"

The Genin exam was an extremely easy test for Navi to pass, he had almost no trouble at all with it. "Try the clone jutsu and transformation a couple more times as practice, I'm sure you'll have it down soon. When your ready let me know, I'll give you a Pre-test to prepare you for the Genin exam."

She decided to continue prscticing her jutsu a couple of more times to show Navi she could do it. She stood still, moved her hands up after a minute, began to focus as she mechanically moved her hands again in the correct signs, and as she kept in mind, had her eyes opened. Hoping to get this jutsu down to make Genin, she was determined to not give up. She knew Navi believed in and she believed in herself. "I hope this works she said as she did the final hand sign.

Whether she realized it or not, Prim had actually been training for over an hour and Navi eventually had began reading his book again. When he looked up much later she seemed to be getting the hang of it. Navi eventually stood up and put his book away. She was most certainly low on chakra now, which was perfect for his last lesson. A shinobi needs to know how to fight on her last legs against a far more powerful opponent.

Navi appeared in an instant in front of Prim and aimed a flick with his index finger at her forehead. This would be impossible to dodge for his enormous speed advantage over Prim. However, even his simple flick would probably knock her over and send her reeling back, as Navi was extremely powerful. "Come at me with all you've learned and wield the pride of the Leaf Village" he would say while she was on the ground. This would no doubt surprise her, and hopefully spur her into a fighting spirit to show that she had the determination necessary to pass the Genin Exam.
