Post-training meal with Sachiko (private)

A few moments after the pair had left the training ground after a physical faceoff in a friendly spar, Sanji and Sachiko approached Ichiraku ramen, the fiery-haired kunoichi marching proudly in front of Sanji. The tall male moved the flap to the side and ducked his head as he went inside, taking a seat near the center of the bar. He began perusing the menu thoughtfully as an expectant and slightly miffed ramen chef looked at him, undoubtedly thinking "This guy again..."

Sachiko glanced at her friend, who had a thoughtful expression on his face and appeared to be looking at the menu. The girl let out a soft smile before turning toward the ramen chef and grinning wildly, yelling, "Hey, old man, please get me a miso ramen!" After she finished her demand, the girl sat down on one of the more left velvet chairs and asked her friend a question, a mixture of both curious and mischievous expression on her face, "Hey, please pardon me, but why is the ramen chef glaring at you, Sanji? Did you prank him or something?"

Sanji looked first to Sachiko and then the chef who had, by now, turned to work on the order Sachiko had placed." Hmm? I have no idea what I did to get his noodles in a wad." he says with a brief chuckle, before the chef looked at him angrily and shouted." That's why! Your jokes are awful and you take too long to make up your mind!"

Sanji met the man's exclamation with a confused, yet still deadpan expression before simply shrugging." I'll have a large beef ramen, please." he says. The chef looked at him for an extra 5 seconds, before finally turning to start on it. Sanji raised his hand and the man growled." Two sides of dango for the lady and myself as well, please." he says, before setting the menu down and turning to Sachiko." I have to say you surprised me with that transformation earlier... who taught you that?"

Sachiko chuckled at her friend's joke a little bit before her expression turned serious and she glared at the ramen chef angrily. "Hey, please don't treat my friend meanly or you'll face the wrath of Konohagakure's great Crimson Prankster!" the young girl growled threateningly before letting out a sly grin, "You do remember what happened to the last guy, don't you...? Weren't his clothes dyed hot pink for a whole month?"

The ramen chef turned slightly pale before growling at the girl. "Fine, I'll get your darn ramen." After finishing this proclamation, the man stomped away to prepare the food for his (least favorite) customers. I hope I didn't push him to far and he gives us poison... the girl thought to herself worriedly before turning to her friend, smiling slightly.

"Oh, I learned from a book." she said simply before elaborating, "I wanted to make a cool new prank, and I combined what I knew about transforming and added in what I thought was scary and got the dragon! I have high reserves, so I can hold the transformation a little while. Sadly, I have sucky chakra control." The young girl pouted slightly at that.

Sanji leaned on the bar idly as he witnessed the exchange between Sachiko and the chef, eyes widening in slight confusion and disbelief. It was then that Sanji noticed a smudge on Sachiko's cheek. He furrowed his brow as she spoke of her transformation, nodding along quietly as he sneakily dabbed a napkin in his glass of water." Do you have the book with you? I'd like to see." he replies. Though it sounded like interesting reading, he really wanted to distract her enough to wipe off her face because that dirt was really bugging him.

Sachiko blushed slightly when her friend swiped the napkin across her face and got rid of the smudge of dirt on her cheek. "Thanks, Sanji," she mumbled gratefully before she grinned widely. "Yep! Just a 'sec!" she said cheerily, hurriedly unlatching her pack from her back and grabbing a book with a rusted brown book cover.

"Here it is!" she said brightly handing over the book to her friend, "My inspiration!"

Suddenly, a bowl of miso was slammed in front of Sachiko's face, causing some food to fly on the side of her cheek. She glared darkly at the ramen chef, who was smugly smirking at the moment.

"Your ramen?" he said in what was supposed to be an innocent voice that was completely ruined by the expression on his face.

Sanji grasps the book in hand and nods lightly in thanks before watching as the chef clumsily slams the bowl of ramen down in front of Sachiko. He quickly wiped broth from Sachiko's cheek with the napkin before putting a hand between their faces to garner their attention." Mealtime is a wonderful thing, let's just agree to disagree and enjoy ourselves." he replies, certainly not trying to see his own food not getting brought to him." You would regret not being allowed to come dine on this delicious food anymore, Sachiko. Just like he would not like it if he lost business. We all lose in that scenario. And I just can't think of how I would smuggle ramen to you if you were to get banned from here, Sachiko. It would burn and I'd need a bottle for the broth. Pocket noodles are not tasty. So let's keep the peace here." he says, doing his best to be the voice of reason, but he just got a "What is wrong with you?" sort of look from the chef before the man simply went back to working. At last, Sanji had his food in front of him. Taking a pair of chopsticks he clasped them between his hands and bowed his head." Thank you for the food, honorable noodlemaster." he says, trying to be respectful, though the title just sounded humorous.

Sachiko glanced to her friend back to the noodle chef and then to Sanji again, letting out a sigh of defeat. "Oh, alright," she said finally before snorting at the title her friend gave the chef. Serves him right, she thought to herself smugly, seeing the guy's face turn a interesting shade of crimson red at her friend's title. Suddenly, a random question popped into the girl's head. "Sanji, what's your favorite color? Mine is red." the girl said happily, grinning slightly.

Seeing the situation defused brought a nod of approval out of Sanji as he began to pick up noodles on his chopsticks until Sachiko asked him that question." Favorite color? Hmm... I guess I've never thought about it, but I like red as well. My gloves are red and I have a red cloak as well." He says, gazing at Sachiko quietly as he looked at her hair, then her eyes, reaching up to clear away another smudge from her face, this time just using his hand.

Sachiko, getting used to the random rubbing, grinned. "Oh, really? Cool!" the little genin said happily before she asked curiously, "Sanji, where did you get so flexible? I mean, you did really awesome in the spar and avoided all of my moves easily!"

Suddenly, the girl thought of something and let out a small smile. "Oh, wait just a 'sec!" she said quickly, reaching into her pack for something. Several seconds passed until she finally found what she was looking for, a triumphant expression on her face.

"Ah ha!" she stated proudly, puffing out her chest before continuing, "Here, Sanji. This is one of my favorite things. It's a really cool prank scroll. When you open it, a boxing glove comes out of it. It's my gift to you... I hope you like it If anyone is ever a jerk to you, just give them that scroll and say it's for a mission. When they open it, kablaam! They get a big punch to the face!"

She gently the scroll to Sanji, grinning brightly, her sky blue eyes bright with happiness.
