A good, long walk. - Kumiko Kuroda [P,NK]

Kumiko strode through Tengakure like she owned the place, paying no attention to any people that might be around in the streets. Several minutes previous, she had been sound asleep when she was awoken with a scream by a horrible nightmare. In the dream, it was once again the night before her parents had left on the mission. Komatsu had already said his farewells and fallen asleep in his own room, but Kumiko always had aharder time letting them go. They were to leave early in the morning, before the children awoke, and Kumi was very unhappy about this.
"It's alright, darling." mother had said, "We'll be back in a few days time, and then we can be together for a while." The young girl had nodded, tears welling up in her eyes, and huffed them good night and good bye. She had no clue that it would truely be the last time she saw her two parents.
After that, she had decided to go for a walk in the countryside to clear her head. As she approached the gates, she stopped and looked at them, wondering what her parents had been thinking as the left on the fateful morning. Probably nothing unusual. Mission plans, enemy dossier, things like that. With a loud sigh and a small frown, she set off out the gate, wandering in no particular direction.
