Getting help with training [Demetri and Sanji no]

Demetri arrived at the academy and walked around to the training grounds strecthing his arms and legs as he moved. He picked a open spot with wood dummies around him and bent his back stretching it as well before doing push ups. He did 10 reps and turned to do sit ups and work on forming his abs. all the while he was thinking of what his dad had told him. [flashback] "Son dont you ever think of giving up, When you give you die in the ninja world so to your last breathe keep on fighting no matter what. Demetri looked at his father the bottle in his hand and thought about the meaning behind it the replied "I will never give up father you can belive in me" [back to current] Demetri had been thourgh his reps on leg lifts and other training as he sat and sipped some tea.

Sanji stepped out onto the training grounds and looked at the young boy sitting and having a bit of tea." It's fine to rest but don't get comfortable." he says, offering some friendly advice as he stands before Demitri. Sanji wasn't much older than him in years, but Sanji was a rather healthy specimen. Tall and muscular, he was built more like an adult." I got some time. Maybe I could help you train." he says, adding." Oh by the way, my name is Sanji Sanada. Pleased to meet you." before extending a hand in greeting, a rough-looking and rather large hand at that.

Demetri looked up as he heard the words " It's fine to rest but don't get comfortable" from the ninja before him. his head band marked him of atleast gennin rank and he didnt look much older the Demetri was his build was muscular while demetri had yet to fill out to the body he desired and was more lean the built. Demetri heard his offer to help train "I would like that very much." He said taking Sanji's hand and shaking it saying "My name is Demetri nice to meet you also." Demetri stood up and sat his tea and lunch down "So how shall we train you look like you could hurt me if you were to hit me to hard?" he asked looking at Sanji's arms.

Sanji heard Demetri's concerns after their brief introduction and nodded lightly." Well, how about we spar a bit, I'll defend and you attack. I might grab you or trip you, but it won't go further than that. Deal?" he proposes, watching Demetri intently to see if he'd agree to those conditions. Sanji might get a bruise or two, but with his strength he'd probably do worse to Demetri.

Demetri thought of the deal and it sounded good to him "Alright sounds good." he said stretching his arms and legs again and taking a pose to fight from. Wating for Sanji to get ready when he was Demetri moved in and went to hit Sanji in the stomach. pulling his punch about a six inches from the gut and made to sweep his legs out from under him.

Sanji tilted his head from one side to the other, various popping noises emitting from his neck before he took a wide fighting stance, his fists held close to his chest in a defensive posture, more akin to a boxer than anything else. When Demitri came at him and threw that punch at his gut, he hunched and guarded with his arms. The impact of the punch against his arms was very weak, indicating that it was an intended feint and his sharp gaze watched as Demitri went low, sweeping his foot at Sanji's legs. All it took was lifting one foot and using the heel of his boot to deaden the impact and stop the forward motion of Demitri's kick. Just to make sure he didn't fall victim to another kick as he blocked the first one, he quickly jumped back a few feet.

" Not bad, but don't go so far with your feint next time, you'll be able to move quicker if you do a little more than a flinch. Make me think you're going to go there without actually going so far you can't move fluidly. Also with a bigger opponent like me, you shouldn't try to fight me straight up like that, it's the best way to get grabbed and then you'll be in trouble if you don't have a plan to get out." He says, before reaching down and tapping his own knee on the side." I have the reach advantage, so you should go for my front leg to start your assault. You want to occupy me with strikes to the sides of my knee, preferably, before you go for any meaningful attacks on more vulnerable areas. Think of it like you're chopping down a tree. You wouldn't go to the top of the tree to cut it down, would you?" he says, before standing ready again and nodding for Demitri to start it up once more.

Demetri watched and was hopeful for just a second then he felt the dead impact of Sanji's boot. His leg ached after the impact but it did little more then that. He thought of the words of wisdom giving to him by Sanji. "So what i need to do is take the forward leg down if im able to by any means possible?" he asked Sanji as he took his pose again and breathed calmly and thought over his next move.

Sanji nodded lightly to reaffirm what he said." Yes, until you have a sure opening you want to work from as great a range as possible. Also don't use obtuse motions unless you have a clear opening, so stick with short forward kicks toward my front leg. Ideally you want me to throw the first strike, then you avoid it and counter. Any time you can force your opponent to face somewhere other than where you are, you want to do it because that'll give you the chance to hit me clean, or at least force me into another disadvantageous situation. If you see I'm well off my footing and don't have a chance at a solid counterattack, then go for me directly. Remember, big vs small means fighting dirty. Hit me where it hurts, such as a quick throat strike if the opportunity arises, but don't get careless. Staying out of my grasp is your top priority. It takes a while to fight like this, so you'll need to work on your stamina so you can stick it out for the long haul." He says, before lifting his head, tapping his temple to symbolize the mind." This is your strongest weapon, instinct will only get you so far, if you can't think on your feet then you're already dead."

Demetri nodded at the information given to him from Sanji again and moved in performing hand signs and making a clone while disspering in the cloud of smoke that came with it hoping the clone would provide enough distraction while he moved to sneak up behind Sanji and thurst his leg behind his knee that was not in the lead.

Sanji tensed as he saw the youth before him quickly forming seals. Though he saw him standing there exactly as before, the process of creating the clone gave away the plot and he shifted his stance to the right just enough to avoid the kick that was given away with the sound of the dirt grinding beneath Demetri's heel. Sanji was big but he also had enough speed to go with that. When the leg used for the kick brushed past his own, he dropped the knee of his back leg to the ground to pin his leg to the ground, careful not to put too much force or weight into it as he countered the attack.

Sanji would then place his hands on the ground, his powerful muscles flexing as he sprung off his hands and landed behind the clone." I like that method, if you knew the shadow clone technique you could've used the clone to attack me just then and then come at me from the front. That's why such techniques are so dangerous." he says, putting a hand through the clone in front of him to erase its existence before him. Without warning Sanji ran right through the clone and charged at Demetri, throwing a punch above his head, not intending to hit him, just trigger a counterattack." Move and counter!" he yells.
