Name: Patrol
Rank: D
Type: Scouting
Character Requirements: None
Word Count Requirements: 300
Repeatable? Yes
Reward: 450 ryo
Task: Scout around the village to make sure the
area is secure. If anyone who doesn't seem to be an ally is seen, report it to
higher ranking shinobi.
Upon returning home after completing his last mission (The Potato One), Ymir found a letter on his bed. It gave him a new mission. Ymir sighed at the thought of having to do something menial as picking potatoes. As he opened the letter, he saw a "D" at the top, his last mission being an "E". This excited Ymir being that it was a higher rank than his last. The mission information read, "Scout around the village to make sure the area is secure. If anyone who doesn't seem to be an ally is seen, report it to higher ranking shinobi." Ymir thought this would be fun.
Ymir gathered his things and headed out into the village. Being that it was only a D ranked mission, he was only allowed to scout in the village. He jumped from rooftop to rooftop in search for anything suspicious. He saw some cats in a back ally fighting over some rotten fish that the butter tossed out back. He disregard the insolent as if it were nothing. He continued through the village until he came upon something very peculiar. It was a weirdly dressed old man sitting in front of the general market store. Ymir wondered what this old man was doing in the village. Ymir wondered if he should approach this man but then he remembered what the mission instructions said,"If anyone who doesn't seem to be an ally is seen, report it to higher ranking shinobi." At that moment, two Anbu swept down and seized the old man and swept him away to an unknown location. Ymir never saw or heard of the old man again.
After completing his rounds of the village, he returned home. He began to wonder who or even what that old man was. Nevertheless, Ymir went off to do something of more importance.
