My Team Post Here [P, nk]

Navi's eyes glazed over immediately, unimpressed entirely with the new Konoha Team. The girl had fallen silent, perhaps somewhat choked up in the presence of authority, and the other two boys had given somewhat generic answers. They were two Uchiha, one fighting for a "better tomorrow" and another fighting for "friendship". Very disappointing.

"Incorrect," Navi began with a sigh, "You fight for the Leaf Village."

"Ninja of my village fight to protect its inhabitants and eliminate those who threaten our people. The Will of Fire is one of determination, not foolhardy ambition."

It might have been unfair to press such beliefs on the young ones so early, but Navi was a strict teacher. His kind heart hidden behind a cold demeanor and desire to strengthen his students. Everything was a test, a truth that his subordinates would quickly realize.

Navi's hand reaches for his back pocket, digging deeply to retrieve something...

Orochihama overcame her awe and finally spoke as Navi was digging into his back pocket. "Um, hello Lord Hokage, I'm Orochihama, and I..." she paused for a second. There wasn't much in her life that she had been proud about, other than the fact that... "can summon a snake. I like snakes."

Hisao understood what the man had said, and was relatively understanding of it, albeit a bit pissed off. None the less, he'd raise his hand a little as he spoke once more, "Only for the leaf village?" The boy was a bit confused, he had heard of a 'God' having created a united nation under one banner, why would they need to be raised in such a way that they had to improve the military of a single village instead of the entire nation. It seemed a bit off to Hisao.

To fight only for the village, and not ones friends, that was the Hokages answer. "But if one fought for his freinds and his friends are from the village then one fights to protect the village and his friends. Is that so wrong?" he thought aloud more then anything, Why not fight against those who would harm the ninja nation instead of just protecting one little village, why not kill all of those who threatens us and throw them to the side like a smoked cigarate some one is done with? But if the Hokage had said it then it must be done, Hikarishi would not follow completely blind but for now he would be like a horse and wear blinders as to only see his main goal.

Navi sighed to himself, taking notice of the girl snapping back to reality and nodding slightly at her answer. It seemed that his students did not understand the wisdom of his words, but perhaps they would realize in time. The Hokage was previously a Captain in the ANBU Black Ops, used to carrying out nearly impossible missions for the good of the village. In serving through this position, he had learned that as a ninja of the Leaf, he often had to murder and kill those who didn't deserve it. Being a ninja wasn't about standing up for what was right and defeating evil, it was about protecting your comrades at any cost. Sometimes, one had do atrocious things in order to protect their comrades, and a ninja had to be willing to commit those deeds.

It was time to see if this team was any good, and even slightly worth training at all. He would utilize one of the oldest training methods in Konoha, and it made Navi smile warmly to himself as he remembered the old days.

From his back pocket came two bells, jingling off two strings that he held up for his students to see.

"This is a simple training exercise. All you need to do is take a bell from me, and you pass. Those who pass will be personally trained by me, and those who fail will be demoted to the lowest rung in the academy and forced to take two years of extra courses."

It was pass or fail, a high intensity challenge to start things off. Watching them under pressure would be interesting indeed.

"Take notice that there are only two bells, so only two of you can pass this test."

Navi stretched a little bit and yawned slightly.

"Are there any questions before we begin?"

Orochihama noticed that the hokage had two bells and was going to begin the bell excercise.
"Are there any questions before we begin?" he asked. Orochihama raised her hand. "Can we confer amongst ourselves before the beginning of the training?"

He looked around once the two bells were shown, Hisao was pumped! He couldn't wait to show off how good he was to his team and the Hokage! He felt a bit upset however, what if he wasn't one of the shinobi who got a bell? Then he'd be a joke in Konoha.. no! He wouldn't allow such a thing to happen! Climbing down from the tree he was standing in, he stood next to his team, ready for their little 'meeting'.

Hikarishi smiled as the bells were shown, then the rules got added. "Wait that is an impossible task, Surely you cant think us fast enough nor skilled enough to get the bells from you." He said again thinking out loud. "A meeting sounds grand." He said with a skeptical look on his face 'how are we getting those bells and even then only two of us can pass, maybe the test is not about the bells but something else....but what?' he thought as he made it to the meeting place.

Navi smiles slightly while looking out at his students. He nods at Orochihama's request, allowing her to confer amongst her peers before they begin. He notices the others expressing excitement and uncertainty about the training, but says nothing in response and instead will allow them to hold a brief exchange together as requested. It was true that it would be impossible for any of these students to even touch him, and frankly it was a task that even his most elite ANBU would have trouble completing, but this was not a test of ability as much as it was an observation of character.

Their respective skill levels would definitely be observed and critiqued by Navi, but that was by no means the real test. The Hokage rests and stands casually with his hands in his pockets while he watches his students make their preparations before beginning.

It seemed that the female had fallen quiet once more, so Hisao took the burden of leadership upon his own shoulders. Going around the two of his team mates, he'd rest his arms overtheir shoulders as he pulled them in, doing this so that only those two could hear, "We've got to try and outwit him.. like.. if we had shurikens or kunai, we could circle him and then throw them at his head so he can't jump while he suicide run in! It's our best chance, I reckon.. what do you guys think?" After saying that, he'd look at the two of his team mates.
