Hopes & Aspirations

Xyxer was escorting the person he had came to the village with, Yusuke. He had knowledge of the young boy's dream and he was seeking to further his goal, and as such he was going to lay down the first stone in the boy's staircase. He was going to help him with his journey. Now, standing outside of the Tenkage office, hopefully with Yusuke, he'd knock on the door as he awaited an answer.

Yusuke was with xyxer as they walk to the kage's office. Yusuke was thinking on his mind *hmm will this tenkage have what it takes for me to serve him? i know he is strong but i have only spoke to him once and i wonder is he worthy of me serving him i should find out more*. Yusuke then looks at Xyxer as he did not speak a word as they arrive at the door waiting to be called in.

Shinji was taking one of his rare naps that took place every hour on the hour and tended to come sooner whenever paperwork was put on his desk. So, really it was not all that rare, but he was still asleep. A bit of drool had come dripped onto some paperwork regarding the chuunin exams. Apparently three Tengakure genin were competing-go figure. He woke with a start when he hard a knock on his door. Wiping off the drool Shinji straightened his papers and sat up a little straighter in his chair. he then quickly blinked the sleep out of his eyes. or rather eye as it were. He still had bandages wrapped around his right one from a recent surgery. Clearing his throat inaudibly he called whomever was knocking into his office: "Come on in. And please do not mind the mess." Shinji's office had become a sea of papers. He had been doing almost endless searching for a jounin or chuunin to lead a team, but had come to no avail. So, now there were hug stacks of paper here and there-it was really quite the mess. With a rather tired look on his face Shinji awaited his guests.

Looking at Yusuke once permission had been granted, he smirked a little as he opened the door and stepped in. Leaving it open so Yusuke could enter, he'd stand at the side with his body slightly turned. He'd been primarily using his amber eye now, so he could distinguish more details easier with it, which is how Xyxer did not find it hard to notice some drool on papers. Holding in a chuckle, he'd then realise the man had appeared to have an incident with his eye, and he looked a lot like he did, none the less, he'd begin to speak, "An incident with your eye, I see?" He smirked once moer before going on, "Tenkage, Yusuke wishes to be acquainted with you, I even hear he aspires to be your personal bodyguard."

Yusuke and Xyxer waited for the Tenkage to reply after knocking of the door, hearing as the Tenkage gave both shinobis the permission to go in to his office and also saying not to mind the mess. Yusuke then sees Xyxer opening the door and stepping into the Tenkage office and left the door slightly open for Yusuke to walk in. After hearing what Xyxer had to say to the Tenkage Yusuke walks in and then stood right beside Xyxer. Yusuke then looks at the Tenkage as he said to him "Is everything alright Tenkage?", Yusuke then said to the Tenkage "What Xyxer said is true i am looking for a worthy village to call home and a worthy leader to serve one that won't abandon his village and it's people". With a serious look and determination in Yusuke's eyes he waits for the Tenkage to reply.

Shinji listened to what Xyxer had to say and responded with a rather snide remark in his same lazy tone as always: "I will regale you of the epic tale of my eye at a later time Xyxer. And you can do the same with your eye-an eye story for an eye story if you will." He was obviously referring to the fact that Xyxer often kept one eye covered. Shinji had his suspicions, but he had no real reason to push them on someone he considered a friend. He skipped over the part about Yusuke and waited for him to enter the room. Listening to what he had to say Shinji would reply with a rather thoughtful tone that served as a deviation from his normal one: "Well then I would say you have come to the right place. Tengakure is indeed a worthy village and I get the strangest feeling that its leader is rather competent and loyal as well-of course that is my opinion and what do I know about Tengakure's leader? I am sure Xyxer can corroborate my claim....Now, please come take a seat. If we are to make your joining the Skyscraper village official I must get to know you." At this point he would direct his voice to Xyxer: "You can stay if you wish. I doubt you will find much of what I have to say interesting as you have heard it all before, but do not forget about our rematch." With that Shinji would wait for responses from both men and hopefully Yusuke would take a seat. While waiting he would absent mindedly drum his fingers in a rhythmic pattern on his desk.

Xyxer chuckled at what the Tenkage had said before he bowed low to the man. He didn't feel bad about leaving Yusuke in this man's hands as he trusted him. However, of course, if things were to go sour he would most likely return. "Farewell, Tenkage and Yusuke. Have fun." After he had said that, Xyxer would leave the room and shut the door behind him, soon departing from the area to continue with his duties.

Yusuke sees that xyxer bow to the Tenkage as he follows what he did, from the way Xyxer had spoken to the Tenkage it seems that he trust him enough to leave Yusuke with the Tenkage. Yusuke then walks closer to the Tenkage and said to him "Nice to meet you Tenkage i am Uzumaki Yusuke and i am actually looking for a village call home of my own so just like what i said eariler and what Xyxer said that one of my goal is to be the bodyguard for you but, i also have the desire to get stronger as i feel that i am not strong enough to protect myself let alone the people in the village".

Shinji acknowledged Xyxer's leave with a slight nod and then his attention returned to Yusuke who he noted had not taken a seat-it was of little consequence, but it felt more personable that way. Listening to Yusuke Shinji was rather intrigued to find that he was an Uzumaki-what a pleasant surprise. Taking a brief second to gather his thoughts Shinji saw a opportunity. It would take tact to make that opportunity in to anything more than than, but it would hopefully work. Taking on his normal lazy tone he responded to Yusuke: "Well as it just so happens my name is Shinji Uzumaki. It is nice to meet you formally. As for a bodyguard we shall see about that. I am quite capable in battle and I would hate to have you become caught up in one. Perhaps a test is in order? Th choice is yours. Either way it will allow me to gauge the power of shinobi that I may allow into my village." If Yusuke were to accept Shinji would get up and lead him down the hall to a training room. Shinji had spent many a long night here honing his skills against the anbu. However, he would not enter the room entirely he would merely lean his back on the door frame and wait for Yusuke.

After saying what Yusuke had to say he looks right at Shinji waiting for his reply. When Shinji started talking he reveal that he too was from the same clan as Yusuke and both of them was from the Uzumaki clan. Yusuke knew right away that he could learn tons of thing from Shinji, the first being that he was a kage and the second he was from the same clan as him. After hearing what Shinji have to say Yusuke replied "I would be honored to have a sparring session with you thought i am not strong but i will try my best" as Yusuke waits for Shinji to lead the way to the training ground.
