Sparring On The Borders. {Private, No kill}

Inijo continued to rise out of the ground, noticing the one known as Rei beginning to perform two simple hand signs. Nothing happened, or least nothing seemed to happen. He remembered genjutsu from his academy lessons, though this didn't seem to be Genjutsu. He continued to rise out of the ground, half of his body now out, he continued to keep an eye on the boy, as he forced himself up and out. He noticed Rei jump back and perform hand signs, no not hand signs, it was just one simple hand sign. Inijo was now fully out of the ground. He began to dash up the very tree that Rei once stood in, he was wondering what he was doing. A puff of smoke surrounded Rei, when it cleared, the chakra signature was not only different, but as was the appearance of the 'boy'.


Inijo began to wonder... could it have been the substitution technique? No.. that technique doesn't work with living beings, well, it could work with animals, though he was sure they had to be prepared before the substitution was made. He raised an eyebrow, as the now female body began to fall down, over, she landed on her stomach. Inijo had a slightly surprised look on his face, though quickly made it appear calm. This wasn't the transformation technique.. at least, the original one. Perhaps this was a variant of the technique. The Transformation technique doesn't change the user's chakra signature, which is why this situation is strange for Inijo, as he has never been in the situation he was in until now. He simply stared, chop stick at the ready in his hand, sharp end pointed away from the body, and he was grabbing the other end, the non sharp end. He listened, the girl asking where the hell was she. Inijo was playing it more cautiously, perhaps this was an ally of Rei, though he wasn't prepared into jumping to a conclusion, he wasn't going to attack, and probably kill the girl. Least now without knowing if she's a threat or not.

You pretend to have not noticed the person as you walk around a little. Then, looking up into the tree, you see them and act a little surprised. "Well hello there," you say. "By any chance, do you have any clue how the fuck I got here?" You sigh, then step back a little. "Well even if you don't, I certainly hope it will be nice to meet you." You hold out your hand up towards the person, after taking off the sharp glove carefully so that it does not hurt yourself. The tree branch isn't very high and Inijo could easily reach your hand if he squatted down. You smile a little and close your eyes. Meanwhile, in the back of your head, you are just hoping that the ploy works. Most fall for it, thinking that you ran away and teleported in some random person as a type of twisted substitution jutsu.

Inijo watched, the girl would slowly get up. Inijo didn't have time for her however, he needed to find out where Rei had gotten off too, seeing as the little coward decided to challenge Inijo and then run off. Nothing more than a waste of energy on both ends. He jumped off into the next tree beginning to think about what technique the boy had used to teleport away. He hadn't heard a thing from the thing he had substituted with, perhaps it had been a simple doll he had transformed with? Made for the purpose of leaving the target pondering rather than chasing the user down? Probably, either way he had his chakra sensory to hunt the boy down with.


{EXIT unless you can stop me}

"WOW, REALLY" you yell after the person. You heard them jump and immediately began perusing, but you were slower than them. "YOU IDIOT, I'M REI!" you continue to yell before he gets out of earshot. . "Your move, fucker," you whisper under your breath. The breeze flows through the forest around you as the glove you slipped back on your hand curls inward with your fingers, forming a fist. You prepare for a fight, and for the fact that this person is obviously faster than you. If you get the chance, you continue by saying "Well? Are we gonna get on with this or are you too afraid to punch a girl in a swimsuit?"

'WOW REALLY' Inijo heard as he began hopping over the gap, and running off. He had already gotten a few feet away when the girl shouted that she was the male Rei. Perhaps she was crazy? Looked nothing like him, or perhaps he used something that was capable of changing his chakra signature..


He hopped down on the ground, hearing the foot steps coming for him hit the ground in pursuit. She was about two to three meters away, somewhere in between the two. Inijo's view of her was blocked by a large tree, presumably same for her unless she could see through things now too. Inijo began to perform a few hand signs, she was still a distance away. He began to go under the earth, and move towards her that way, she could have no way of knowing, presumably. As he got closer, he would reach out, towards the girl's ankle. Should he grab it successfully, he would drag her down beneath the earth, to where nothing more but the girl's head remained above ground, and her arms unable to be reached.

You walk around the tree, which was just barely large enough to hide your slender body, between you two as your opponent goes underground. You were able to catch them because your opponent assumed you were still a distance away from the tree when in actuality, you were mere centimeters from its bark, well within the distance needed to circumnavigate it before your opponent finished their hand seals. Seeing this again, you quickly jump up the tree, hanging onto the second lowest branch before dropping down onto the lowest one. Again, the branches can easily hold your weight. This one is much higher than the one on the last tree, because you were able to jump much higher to reach it. "Really? Seriously? Keep trying that trick, maybe it will work sometime before next year," you taunt at the top of your lungs. Your jump was perfectly timed, placing you out of grabbing distance just second before the boy's hand would have appeared above the ground to grab your ankle otherwise. You prepare for the boy to show himself, waiting to give him his just deserts. That, or pay him back for not paying any attention to you by making sure not to do the same to him. You smile.

Apparently the girl, or the boy, whichever he preferred to call him or herself, wasn't a few meters away. She, which is what Inijo would now classify Rei as, had seen Inijo finishing his hand signs. He noticed this, and began to watch her attempt to get out of range. He sighed, she was out of range. He simply continued to go under. He began to go up to the tree, and pull on it's roots underground, in attempts to drag it under, despite how useless. He just didn't want to make the waste of chakra a waste. He sighed, getting back above the ground.

You drop down from the branch about two feet from where your opponent rose from the ground. However, right before you drop down, you say "Now how about we drop the cheap tricks and have some fun?" You run towards the boy, your left hand held in front of you, your fingers split apart so as to reveal each blade of the glove. You merely aim your left hand for his left shoulder, the tree directly to your opponents right, though with a bit of space there. Your arm is held out at a 90 degree angle to your body, and your forearm is at a 90 degree angle to your arm, parallel to the ground. The charge could likely be easily dodged, but youwould pay close attention to the chopsticks, your right hand ready to defend against them if they turned out to be.. less than mundane. Whether or not you hit or not, you would run past and turn around, waiting for your opponent to make the next move, watching them intently.

Inijo heard the girl speaking, 'Now how about we drop the cheap tricks and have some fun?' He heard her ask. "Nah." He said, facing forward. There was a tree to his right. He heard the girl jump, she would land to the left of Inijo's current position. The branch shook a bit, which gave Inijo the sense that she had dropped. He quickly dashed forward, before the girl was capable of landing from her jump, hell, before she was half way to the ground from the branch. He was about ten feet away from where he once stood. He remained there, thinking, as he began to put away his chop stick, it was growing too dangerous, seeing as he continued to keep running, he could accidentally stab himself at sometime if he wasn't careful. He continued to watch Rei, she was slower than Inijo, therefore if she attempted to attack Inijo was more than capable of dodging. Inijo sighed, as he continued to think. He wandered a bit forward, the girl had started to run forward about two feet, she was about eight feet away now. He remained calm. There was a tree to his right, he noted it as he began to perform a small series of hand signs. He had done them so much in this spar, that he did them perfectly. The girl was about five feet away when he went underground completely, concealed by the earth, he wondered what her next move would be.

You stop when you see your opponent go underground yet again. Immidiately, you jump backwards and while mid air, parallel to the ground, three feet above it, you make the seals for surface walking. Your feet land and stick solidly to the tree. You then proceed to walk up it. You walk out onto a low branch. It is quite a large branch. You can barely wrap your arms around it. But that is not important. The important thing is that you can, and the branch is strong enough to hold up well over five times the combined weight between your opponent and you, and low enough that hanging from it, with your arms wrapped around, will result in your ankle being mere inches from the ground. You make a ploy to position as if you had lost your balance and hang from the branch. Your arms are wrapped around, ready to devote your strength to lifting yourself should the person pop up to try an attack. You do not yet realize for certain what the technique is, but almost all techniques like this involve coming up near where the target is. You plan to lift yourself, possibly with a bit of an aerobatics motion, so that you can disorient and attack your opponent.
