teammate encounter (private, no kill)

"I'm fine." Itami said grumpily but at Nakara's laughing expression couldn't help but turn his frown into a smile and that into a laugh.

"I guess it was pretty funny." he said chuckling. The water was pleasantly warm and he sighed, already feeling all the tension leave his shoulders.

At his teammate's words he though for a moment and then replied: "Well, you know the basics, and I don't really know what else to tell you. I guess I could mention that I like games and challenges, I love traveling, and I have a sweet tooth." He laughed a bit at the last. "For anything else, you'd have to ask me specifically as I have no idea what else to say." he added and smiled at Nakara.

"What about you, what do you like?" Itami asked as he moved the soaking wet hair from his eyes and forehead with one swift motion.

Nakara sat there and smiled as he listened to Itami speak. Before asking another question, he would answer Itami's," Well I like cherry blossom trees and hot springs...Besides that being in the forest amonst the quiet and calm nature is something I also like," he sunk further into the water until it was at his shoulders.

Shaking his head clear of the water he would smile," Itami I have a question. Where do you see us as a team in the future or better what are your goals for the future," looking back up to him waiting for an answer.

Itami watched Nakara as he spoke and then said: "Great. I love a lot nature too, and I'd love the hot springs as well if I wouldn't slip on the wet floor all the time." He chuckled and then contemplated Nakara's question.

"Well I think about that kind of things a lot. I imagined a lot of different scenarious for our team and all our futures. I guess I envision us all very strong and succesfull, and still working as a team, together, perserving our friendship. I always imagined we'll pass the chunin exams on our first try. I think maybe Mezurashii will become a skilled medic and a ninja, and you a succesful leader of your clan. Maybe some of us will have our own little genin teams when we hit the jounin rank." he said with a smile.
He stared at the hot watery mist that lay on the surface of the water.

"My own goal is to reach my true potential, to become strong. I want to be a top shinobi and go on a lot of exciting missions that enable me to travel to distant lands." he added after a while.

What he didn't tell Nakara though, was that he hoped he'd find his mother if he got the chance to leave Konoha for a while. That was his true priority at the moment, but he didn't share his thoughts with anyone.

"What about you Nakara? I am curious about your answers for both the questions you presented." Itami said.

As Itami spoke he would smile. His goals for them as a team went hand in hand with his. As he was asked about what he thought Nakara would smile," My goals for the team are much like yours Itami, I want to see us grow to become the best team in the village, and even raise teams to our level and even higher. I feel with you two, the sky is no longer a limit," smiling.

Now as for his dreams he would sigh," My first dream has already came to pass. I became the leader of my clan and with that I will lead it to new heights. My second dream is to raise my child in a world where he won't be in danger and also protect and help the ones I love," a corny answer yes but it was how he felt.

"That's very nice to hear." Itami replied and smiled at Nakara. "And congratulations on becoming the leader. I didn't know that until now."

He shifted in the water, and rubbed his temples as his head hurt a little from getting up earlier than usual. The hot water was slowly dissipating his headache and he leaned back on the smooth rock, and put his head backwards on the edge. He felt like he could fall asleep, and the steam wasn't helping. Closing his eyes for a moment, he just relaxed and forgot about everthing. But a few moments later, he opened them again and lifted his head once more, turning back to Nakara. It seemed slightly rude to fall asleep if you were here with a friend.

"Hey, have you seen Mezurashii lately?" he asked the other, curiously.

Nakara kicked under the water for a moment as he smiled," I became the leader shortly before our team spar...what I had to wasn't easy but I had passed none the less," looking through the steam filled sky with a smile. Although the pains came back every now and again he was happy with the results.

When Itami spoke of Mezurashii he would shake his head," I have not heard from her or seen her in a while.. have you I am kinda worried about her," he said in a concerned tone. He cared about both of them equally not only as a team but as family.

"Wow." Itami said. " I can't possibly imagine what you had to go through to obtain that position."
He respected Nakara very much and the fact that he became the leader of his clan at such young age made that respect even greater. Itami was quite proud to be Nakara's friend.

"Yeah, I have a while back. We sparred together and then she introduced me to her bear cub, Boken. He's adorable, have you seen him?" he asked and grinned.

" Well I had to fight four members of my clan that were the strongest and each symbolized a different meaning in our clan, two of which were my parents," a heavy sigh would come from his mouth as he smiled," But I had fun and learned a ton of good lessons,".

Listening to what he said about Mezurashii, it would click in his head," Oh I had trained with her yesterday, on the hokage heads. It was fun and I have to admit she is very good with weapons and close combat. As for the little ball of fur I met him....I have to say he is kinda cute though," chuckling as he poured some more water on his head.

Itami nodded in recognition and splashed the water a bit. Now that he was in in for that amount of time, he was getting used to the temperature.

"Oh, how great!" he exclaimed. "And I agree, Mez's strong point are her weapons. She's a very good spar partner and I'm glad she's a part of our team and not any other." he said with a small laugh. With powerful teammates like Nakara and Mezurashii, Itami felt confident they'd do good on missions and on chunin exams, in the future.

Feeling sleepy again, Itami decided to go underwater a bit. It always cleared his mind, no matter the fact that the water was fairly hot. He slowly sunk in the water, his eyes open throughout the process. His hair floated on the surface as he moved his head a bit. He saw the rocks on the bottom of the spring and then looked up at the surface. Soft sun rays penetrated the water under an angle and he couldn't help but smile at the beauty of it, letting out a few bubbles from his mouth.

Nakara nodded and smiled as he stood up and stretched," Ahh after a fine soak and good conversation we should go hit our next destination... and if there is anything else you want to do we can," slowly walking out of the water.

Nakara made the mistake of walking over a small dip, falling face first into the water. Getting up slowly he would laugh at himself as he went to change and wait for Itami to come with him. After meeting up at the front desk he would hug his Auntie," See ya later Auntie," Walking out afterwards. She would look at Itami and smile as he nodded to him," Whenever you want to come and relax, it's on the house for you," going back to help some customers.
