Min's first official day in Tengakure Empty Min's first official day in Tengakure

Sun Mar 17, 2013 3:21 pm
Minorin was leaning against the flat gray wall of a building that lay in shadow at this time, her long white hair billowing over her right shoulder as she stood there, alone.
She didn’t want to be near anyone she knew right now.

Only a few hours had passed since she’d met the new Tenkage and learned that Kirigakure no Sato had been destroyed, it seemed everything was changing lately. Even she was changing, growing taller and on her unhurried way to becoming a woman.

Her face was expressionless. She was in a part of the village where there weren’t many people around who would even consider talking to her, which was wonderful. The people that were around were rushing about timidly. They seemed to be workers of some sort, all wearing the same black uniform with the same yellow symbol on their left sleeve, right at the cuff. The workers were coming and going as they carried all kinds of odds and ends and of them seemed to belong to a factory that was a little ways further down the street.

The wind picked up as the short white haired girl left her shady spot began to walk towards the large factory, wondering what its purpose was.

The wind felt cool on her exposed skin, giving relief from the heat of Tengakure for just a moment. She wasn’t used to being in a place like this. The sun’s light reflected off of the many skyscrapers in Tengakure, and today the sun was exceptionally bright. And the massive amounts of light reflecting off the glass and metal caused Minorin to feel awfully warm. She was surprised that her skin hadn’t turned tan or maybe even a bright red color at this point.

The girl sighed as the coolness faded from her skin and the heat returned, she didn’t really mind the heat or anything, it had just been so nice to feel a soft wind like that one. Her eyes shifted side to side every now and then as she trudged along, Minorin wasn’t used to this part village yet or the people in it. This was only the second time she’d even been inside of Tengakure after all. At least she knew where she was going for the most part.

She felt uneasy as she wandered down the street, passing the black clad workers who were now carrying boxes. Some boxes were big and some were small, but there was a rattling metallic sound coming from each of the boxes as the men bounced along down the street and away from the factory, carrying them as though they were the most precious of gems.

She was now facing the factory; it was a factory that specialized in making tools such as hammers, wrenches and the like. According to the sign that stood next to the building they also specialized in windows. Interesting. But not useful to Minorin, she didn’t need tools or glass or anything of the sort.
It seemed they were moving out of the factory though. Down into a newer one she had passed on her way into this area, it was about half a mile down the street after the gray building she’d been leaning on just a few minutes ago.

The small girl shrugged and about faced, walking back down the street in the direction which she had come.

She felt like getting something to eat and practicing some of the techniques she’d learned while in the academy, just for a pinch of nostalgia.

She walked along for quite some time before she saw a small restaurant, it seemed that they served curry there. Minorin hadn’t had curry in a while. So she decided she would go there to eat, but first she would disguise herself, just because she thought it would be a good time to practice some of that academy jutsu.

She walked into an ally, acting as though it were any fourteen year old girl’s business to be walking into alleys. Once she was hidden by the darkness of the alleyway she performed the necessary hand seals and was cloaked in a puff of smoke. The smoke cleared, revealing a tall red haired boy with striking amber eyes. The boy was clad in the same black uniform the workers down the street had been wearing. The “boy” looked to be around the age of seventeen.

Minorin always thought it was funny to transform into boys, the people around her had no idea that she was really a girl and she couldn’t help but smirk at their comments.

Minorin walked into the small restaurant, the bell at the door jingling jubilantly as she entered. She sat down at the bar, ordered her curry, and then she watched them make it.

Their technique was very similar to her own for making curry; she couldn’t wait to taste it. If it tasted better than hers did she might have to apply here to get the recipe and some good tips too.
Soon her meal was ready and piping hot. Still disguised as a tall red haired male she scarfed down her meal as though she hadn’t eaten for weeks. It was so good.

Minorin wiped her mouth and paid, thanking the people for the wonderful meal.

She then exited the restaurant and walked down to the factory the workers were moving boxes out of. Disguised as she was she blended right in.

A rough hand smacked her shoulder; she turned to see an older balding man there.

“Hey, carrot-top, ya gonna get a move on er what?”

Minorin blinked, not entirely grasping the situation yet. Then it clicked, and she smiled. This would be a good way to gain some muscle while she was at it.

“Of course sir!” Then Minorin wiped her brow, “Was just taking a breather was all!”

Then Minorin would rush off into the building and take a rather large box that was handed to her before rushing along down the street as fast as she possibly could while carrying such a heavy load. The other workers stared in awe at the “boy’s” strength and speed; little did they know a fourteen year old kunoichi was behind the wheel.

The day continued this way until Minorin became bored and began to feel a strain on her muscles, at that point she dropped off her last box before returning to the same alleyway she had visited earlier to release her transformation jutsu.

The Gobi was grumbling at her for being so simple, picking up boxes of all things to get stronger. She ignored Kokuo though, and began to walk towards her new home, absentmindedly twisting a strand of her long ivory colored hair around her left index finger as she went on her way.
