Kitty catching ! Agility training !

Currently Minorin was in one of the many rooms available in the training towers of Tengakure.

She was wearing Kuroi yoroi today, the black armor greatly contrasting with her pale skin and snow-white hair.

Her bright blue eyes gleamed maliciously as she stared down her opponent.

Her gaze was met by a pair of reflective yellow eyes and a mewl.

The small girl lunged forward, attempting to catch her furry opponent – this failed however, and Minorin fell flat on her face, the fuzzy brown kitten pouncing around the room and purring.

She lifted her face up, cradling her head as she sat. She really hated this stinking cat.

Minorin glared murderously at the animal, only to be met with a blank stare and a purring noise.

She sighed, it was too cute to hate… too much anyways.

She’d chased the cat all the way to this very room after seeing it leap from a small boy’s hands, causing the boy to cry so loudly that people all the way down the street were opening their windows to see what all the commotion was about. So Minorin made it her job to track down the dumb animal in order to get the boy’s wailing to end.

She slowly lifted herself off the floor and into a standing position, keeping eye contact with the fuzzy kitten. Then she started to creep towards the little animal, very slowly.

And just as she was within reach the kitten darted from the room, making a chirping sound as it leapt down the stairs.

Minorin growled in irritation, bounding after the cat immediately.

As the two raced down the stairs Minorin nearly slipped and fell, too bad she didn’t have paws and pads that helped stick to the ground like the kitten had. That stupid lucky animal.

Now they were out of the building, the sun nearly blinding the short white haired girl as she busted out of the tower like a bat out of hell.

The kitten had gained some ground, apparently unaffected by the blinding light of the sun. It had to be the devil or something.

She chased after it, the sun beating down hard on her petite form. It was really a very hot day today. Not many people were outside and walking around, preferring to stay in their cool homes instead of burning to a crisp.

Minorin chased it down a street, passing three or four blocks before the kitten made an abrupt turn down an alleyway. She didn’t hesitate at all – following the kitten in hot pursuit.

She was thankful at least for the shade the alleyway provided, helping cool her head as well as her black apparel, it had been a pretty bad day to wear black.

Minorin picked up speed as her body cooled down; she was very close to having the kitten now!

The kitten turned, pink paw pads scrambling across black pavement as Minorin nipped at its heels.

Minorin turned, a smile stretching across her face – she was sure she had the kitten now!

BAM!

Before the young girl knew it she had collided with some bum who had been hanging around in the alleyway drinking. She heard glass smash against the pavement as she stumbled backwards in a daze, the smell of alcohol meeting her nose. The man had fallen down and he seemed not to know what had happened, but he looked pretty mad.

She collected herself as quickly as possible and darted down the alleyway in the direction she’d last seen the cat running in. Deciding to act as though she hadn’t just knocked down a drunk as she dashed away.
This wasn’t good at all; she’d slammed right into some random drunk AND lost sight of the stupid cat. Her worst day in Tengakure so far.

She ran down the alleyway, ran as fast as she possibly could – her muscles practically screaming at her from being so viciously strained.

She could hardly believe she was doing all this for some random little boy, but he was causing everyone trouble by crying so loudly. On the bright side at least her legs might gain a little muscle.

Then she heard it, that high-pitched mewl.

She shot herself into the open street, a few young boys had gathered and seemed to be poking the source of the noise with sticks.

Minorin walked over, not exactly sure what the situation was.

Now she was close enough to see, and the four boys seemed to be hurting the small animal as they poked it. She sighed, she didn’t want to deal with this sort of thing but unfortunately that kitten was her responsibility at the moment.

She knocked two of the closest boys out of the way, she should probably rough them up a little for being such asses, but she really needed to catch this cat and fast.

She felt hands on her arm, attempting to push her perhaps? It felt weak. She looked over, two of the boys that she hadn’t knocked onto the ground were glaring at her – she guessed one of them had attempted to shove her, seeing as the two she’d already pushed down were running away. She wasn’t very surprised - It was pretty obvious that she was a kunoichi, her armor equipped, headband tied around her waist, and ninjato hanging on her left hip.

She looked at the two boys; they were most likely eleven or twelve years old with no experience in combat. Were they seriously thinking about fighting her? She delivered a quick sweeping motion to their shins, her body crouching down and her right leg shooting towards them.

The two fell on their backs, just like the first pair had – their sticks clattering to the ground.

Minorin looked away, straightening her figure before stepping closer to the kitten, picking it up and checking it over for any wounds.

As she turned, unharmed kitten in tow, she noticed the two boys getting up and collecting their wooden sticks – avoiding eye contact with her.

She sighed again, heading towards the sound of the wailing boy – her leg muscles aching horribly.
