First chance meeting of what may be a team...

Kenchi would listen to Daniel. It seemed the boy had plans of become a future member of the elite ANBU squad. He also said he was part of a clan, body modifying which was certainly interesting because Kenchi had never heard of such a clan before. Though he figured he'd be able to see the boy in action soon enough. If things went as expected he'd be taking them to the towers to see how good they were in combat.

Chimitsu on the other hand, knew nothing about herself it seemed. She was indeed a mystery and Kenchi would not know what to think of this. She was only sure of her name, age, and rank. This was all she knew of herself. In a way Kenchi felt a hint of pity in his heard towards the girl. She knew nothing of herself, which was sad. Hopefully she will be able to move around that obstacle to become a fine ninja one day.

"What about you Kenny? Tell us about you."

Kenchi would shrug his shoulders. "I am currently a Jounin leveled shinobi of Tengakure, but before that I was someone else...not too long ago I was a member of Kirigakure. The village hidden in the Mist, my home. As a kid I dreamed of becoming a member of the elite Seven Swordsmen of the village. Unfortunately that would never happen, soon a band of missing ninja ,I assume, attacked the village reducing it to nothing..."Kenchi would pause. When he heard himself talk he seemed much older than he actually was, he sounded like an old man telling tales of the times before. He had forgotten that he was only fourteen himself, though he looked sixteen. "After all of that I came here. As for right now, I am looking at forming a team to help the village shinobi become stronger and you two seem to be perfect candidates." Kenchi would say, smoothly shifting the topic. "So how bout it? Want to be on my team?" Kenchi would ask both Chi and Dan kindly.

Almost directly after Daniel was done speaking he would politely listen to what Chi Chi had to say about her history and what not. Daniel was confused as she mentioned a couple of things, the first being that she was eighteen, which surprised him due to her child-like appearance, she was even shorter than him and he was 13. The other thing that bothered Daniel was that she didn't remember anything, besides her name, age, and rank of course, but that didn't matter, it was weird either way. Daniel just supposed she had amnesia or something along those lines, but he didn't really care she seemed like a nice person and he intended to respect that. Following that he would listen to Kenchi's lightly detailed life story, it was quick, but it was all the information that Daniel needed, he didn't suppose any details he may or may not have left out were any of his business unless it was to harm any of his friends or family.

Daniel would pause for a moment and think over the proposition Kenny had just made, it had interested Daniel very much, although Daniel wasn't even a Genin yet so would this even benefit him? Well, he didn't really suppose he could join the team, at least at this point in time he couldn't maybe with a bit more training he could become strong enough to join the team. He didn't completely throw the offer out of the window since he wanted to still train with the two of them so he decided to answer, "Hmm, an offer to be on your team? That seems interesting although, as I said before, I am still an Academy Student, but don't worry I'll be a Genin in no time, also as I said before. Well, I am off to go home right after I pay for these sweets," he said as he raised his arm to show them his modified arm, then finished what he was saying, "If you guys are up for a spar I will be at the training grounds tomorrow morning, hope to see you there." He gracefully walked off to pay for his sweets then followed up by exiting the building through the colorful entrance while eating the delicious pocky he had just purchased. As he walked out he could still tell that it was a wonderful day and he could do whatever he wanted in the lovely and sunny weather.

Kenchi would nod his head as they both left. They were truly the perfect candidates. He felt right that he was taking his first step in making the village a better place, while strengthening it at the same time. Now all that was left to do was to find the third ninja to join their team. He figured that it would not be too difficult a process. He would exit the shop, in search of one more member.
