Re: The Outskirts [PRIVATE: Aura and Anko]

Anko would be shocked to hear the words he just listened to? Children? What could've brought this up? Anko could remember his travels with Ayumi, temporarily managing the village on his own, sending many villagers and their children to safe places that would normally not be considered "home". Flashing back to reality, Anko would laugh. He would face Aura as he would smile. "Children are always safe here." Anko began, "In fact..." Anko would interrupt himself. "Maybe my story about the orphanage is making Aura think otherwise about the village! I can't let that happen!" Anko thought deeply to himself. As he would once again concentrate on the topic at hand, Anko would continue. "Sorry about that. Sometimes strange thoughts hit me as I talk, and I have no choice but to pause." Chuckling, Anko would find himself a safer, less suspicious position with the young lady aside him. "To continue, although I was raised in an orphanage on the outskirts of this village, being treated poorly here, I was never touched once as a kid when I grew up inside." Anko would hope that his thoughts would make this time more comforting. "Oh, by the way, the treat's on me." Anko would slide Aura's money back to her as he would give away his own. "Ramen Supreme please!" Anko smiled to the chef, showing some excitement. The chef would slide another free pass for the next meal as Anko would give a tip. "Guess it's your lucky day!" Anko would add, speaking to Aura once more, handing her the sixth pass. Impolitely shoving ramen into his mouth, Anko would talk while chewing. "So, where to after this?"

She would bow her head to the chef as a thanks and quickly put the passes into her pouch on her hip before taking her bun and taking a small bight out of the doughy, meaty goodness. "Mmm..." She would blush, the food here is delicious. Perhaps they have a new customer? Blushing she would look towards her new friend and swallow her food before speaking, "I'm going to go home, I'm going to take my exams soon!" she says with both excitement and nervousness, she doesn't want them to just fail her out of no where yet again, like they always do.

Anko would smile, now looking into the face of friend. Excitement seemed to arise from Aura's soul as the two would finally conclude the good night they had together. Anko would hug Aura as he would speak over her shoulder. "Good luck. I hope to see you back here better than ever." As he would release his arms from the girl and step back, he would smile. "All the best!" Anko would ask that the chef make his meal to-go. As the food would be packaged, Anko would take off. Whilst walking home, before leaving the noodle bar, he would say "I'm glad I met someone as awesome as you..," An unknown tear would drop down Anko's face as it would be pointing in the opposite direction.
As Anko would begin moving, an immediate sign of regret would hit him. He would turn back to the girl, moving more towards her destination as he would ask "Would you like an escort?"

Showing a little concern for her new found friend Ashie would reassure him with a soft smile, "No, all the women would fawn over you. Please don't be so down. You will be the first one to know, besides the proctor, if I pass." She waves as she walks towards her home to rest

Anko would smile, sighing as he had hoped for a better night. However, in this case, it'd be work first, which Anko would realize and accept. He would wave as he would walk in the opposite direction, heading for the Kazekage Chambers. As he passed them, he would find something lying on the ground. It would seem to be a flock of hair. Anko's pupils would shrink as he could remember where this flock of hair came from. With a blank face, he would pick the hairs up and put them in his pocket. As he did this, the sudden force would strike him once more. Anko would be amazed as to what was happening to him at the moment, but would ignore it as he would proceed home.
