This was a mission that Skorn might be able to have a little bit more fun with: catching a thief. It was kind of like the prankster mission, only the stakes were a bit higher and the culprit a bit more skilled. This beat searching for missing animals or working with a bunch of little kids; however, Skorn still maintained the firm belief that he could handle far more important and dangerous missions. Not that he wanted to help his vile village in any way, shape, or form, he simply wanted tasks that were a bit more exciting. The thief that Skorn was in search of had quite a common MO for low class grifters: he was a pickpocket. If Skorn was going to sink to the level of thief from the level of murderer that he was at now, he would at least resort to white collar theft. Seriously, this type of crime was just pathetic. All that Skorn had to do was keep on the lookout for anybody on the street that was getting a bit too close to the pedestrians; it was simple. It was reasons like this that made Skorn resent being sent on D-ranked missions. Andddddddddddd there he was. Some guy getting a bit too close to comfort to some girl on the street. His sleight of hand was impressive, Skorn would give him that, but he was so obvious to the people around him. His fingers were literally slipping into the woman’s pocket. Did they really even need a shinobi to solve this problem? Skorn thought not. Before the man even notices his presence, Skorn is upon him, pinning him to the ground with his right foot. Civilians were so easy to take down. Grabbing him by his collar, Skorn drags him back to the village square to hand him over to the higher ups. What a disappointment, it had been so easy!
