There have been reports that multiple people have had their paintings stolen from their homes or shops.

Art was never really Skorn’s thing; he somewhat like literature, especially poetry, but art? Bah! What did he care if some lowlife ghoul was going around town stealing a bunch of rich people’s paintings? Nevertheless, it was the mission that he had been assigned and he was obligated to perform it in order to receive the appropriate awards. Skorn had devised an interesting approach to this mission, since he had no other way of catching a home invader, he had decided to stay disguised within the home of an art connoisseur. Hopefully, the art thief would take the bait and break into this rich family’s house; Skorn would be waiting in ambush. Entering the rich family’s living room, Skorn is appalled by the extravagancy of the decor and architecture; he had no idea that people lived this way! A massive crystal chandelier hangs over the center of the room, while a very expensive oriental carpet sits in the center of the floor. Around these pieces, delicately crafted articles of furniture are arranged in a neat circle, with a mahogany coffee table sitting in the epicenter. Paintings that must have cost thousands of ryo line the intricately crafted brick walls. This room itself could be the subject of a painting. Skorn scowled, this was just another product of capitalism and establishment, something that he would soon destroy. Focusing his mind back on the task at hand, Skorn hides behind a massive sculpture in the corner of the room, concealing his entire figure. He had intentionally left the front door wide open, so if they so desired, anybody could come strolling in at any time. It would be quite stupid for a wanted thief to just waltz into a house that just happened to have its door wide open, but hey, not everyone had Skorn’s brilliant and uncannily deductive mind. Well, it looks like the guy has fallen for the bate after all. Strangely boisterous footsteps make Skorn aware of a large presence at the front door, and some greasy fat guy comes stumbling into the room; he is clearly drunk. A man like this liked art? No, he must just be hired for somebody to steal all of the art he has been stealing, this man is not sophisticated enough to appreciate it. The man’s eyes are unable to track Skorn’s speed as he emerges from behind the sculpture and aims a hard fist in between the man’s eyes. This sends the man keeling over, unconscious. Under normal circumstances, a nice beefy man like this would make a delightful meal, yet he looks too dirty to eat and Skorn must collect his pay. Hey painfully hoists the man over his shoulder and walks through town back to the rich man who had assigned him the mission. Thankfully, the man had also been carrying a sack with him containing all of the other stolen artwork that he had acquired. A major score for both Skorn, and the victims of the art theft. After being paid handsomely, Skorn goes on home to wrap up another day of simple work.
