Training out the bordom[nk][open]

[I will quit with the tail thing and just spar using my abilities and stratagies.So on that note lets get back to the spar.]

Gogeta was grounded by Glenn's attack and the rocks. Rolling over on his back he started to thing and plan out his next move. Gogeta started to stand up when he felt a pain in his lower back freezing him for a moment. Gogeta now on his feet walked toward the outside away from where he was attacked to get out of the dust. As he made it out of the dust he turned and stared into it to see where everyone was with no chance he stood there waiting. While Gogeta waited he thought he would try again to look for everyone else because of the dust faded more.

Gogeta saw a figure across from him and watched it as suddenly another figure appeared next to it. Gogeta thinking the figure was Nero started to walk toward it but stopped close to a tree to be out of sight. He looked over at the figure and saw that something small was with it so he stayed at the tree and waited for someone to move.

[lol, yeah when i shoulda been clearer in that ability. I ment the dust lasts for the posting cycle it's used in, plus one additional cycle... so 2 cycles in total. but it should be clear in this post ^_^]

The dust had settled enough to view the field, Crono could see Nero's clone, however the cat was still hidden by the remaining dust. Gogeta would be walking away from him, supositly toward nero's clone. Crono whispered back to glenn, "up and over" the frog nodded.

in but a moment the young red-haired samurai dashed forward, the impact of his footsteps creating enough of an impact to disturb some of the low dust pulling it in his wake. his two clones running by his side to his front right and front left forming a V shape. Glenn would pull up the rear, running through the dust kicked back up at enough distance to mask his approach as they all ran toward gogeta. Crono would stop mere feet from gogeta and leap up into the air, attempting to decend upon the nero clone, his sword still sheathed at the ready to counter his opponent. his other clones mimicking his action. Glenn would appear out of the dust shortly after crono accended into the air, leaping directly out at gogeta, shield first. attempting to bash him with the bronze object and knock him off balance.

Nero's clone would have been simply standing when he was seen by Crono, since the basic clones followed the user's actions, and Nero was not doing anything at all. It would have then been released, dispersing. Nero would have now became able to move without any hesitations. His love for the animals was finally paying for him. He could act like a real kitten, and it was almost not at all different from the way kittens acted. Nero was jumping around, crawling, running towards walls and climbing them, or jumping around trying to catch some butterflies that were there in the training ground. Of course, he did not act as if he could not see the dust cloud. He thought that if a kitten was to be in that area, it would have been scared by the sound and the appearance of the dust cloud. 

So, Nero ran away from the cloud as quick as he could, putting a 20 meter or slightly longer distance between himself and the dust cloud, and of course anybody who could have been inside this cloud. Nero decided to observe the area until it was clear, and not this dangerous. He did not like the idea of leaving a comrade behind, under a great disadvantage, but going in just to sacve him would have been hundreds of times more retarded. There were many possibilities on what could have happened, but all that started by Nero jumping into the dust cloud caused an ending that Nero and Gogeta suffered a huge loss against the Guardia clan member, and Nero's teammate Crono.

Of course, these were all scenarios created in the Koutaishi clan member's mind, but Nero was certain that nothing good could have came up by him entering that trap area. He was now instead concentrated on what would have happened when the cloud cleared out, or any of the others came out of it. Nero would, by this time, pretend to be a kitten.

Gogeta was leaning against a tree watching the clone when he noticed Crono run out of the dust toward him with Glenn following. Gogeta then notice that Crono stopped near him and jumped leaving Glenn here with Gogeta. Glenn now trying to attack Gogeta he, Gogeta, quickly said Substitution under his breath as Glenn almost nailed his body. Gogeta left a clone in his place and appeared behind Glenn 20 yards away. As Gogeta turned to face Glenn he quickly put some chakra in his palm. He then said Fuuton: Sattou Dangan (Wind Release: Bullet Rush) and sprayed 5 waves of arrow like burst of wind at Glenn. If this attack lands it should disperse Glenn after each wave had landed.

[ 2 things i noticed right off the bat gogeta.  1.) that skill is outdated and needs to be reapproved as it is from a previous version [im assuming version 4, and the site is version 5 link] as it is lacking the stats of the jutsu... 2.)  you dont have the chakra to use a B ranked jutsu.  you need at least 20 chakra just for a C rank, you would need 30+ to cast a B rank. stat rules. ]

Glenn smashed into the tree, phazing through the clone, causing it to disapate. his shield absorbing the impact like a spring. Glenn would then backflip off of the impact zone twisting his body as he landed to land with the tree to his back, scanning his suroundings. he spotted gogeta quite easily as he wsa trying to preform some sort of advanced jutsu. from the sound of it, it was wind release.  glenn stood his ground, lowering his body his shield ahead of him, his sword behind him.  the jutsu however would be unstable and would instead fizzle and disapate. Seeing his chance glenn would charge at gogeta shield first, until he got into range, when he would spin around in an attempt to strike him with the flat side of his bronze sword.

Crono would land on Nero's clone as it vanished. he would look around. Nero was up to something. this wasn't a substitution. it was a clone tech, similar to the ones standing to his sides. Eyeing the cat fleeing from the field, crono was suspicious. he didn't remember seeing any felines earlier as he came to train. But suspicion enough wasn't going to be enough to make him charge down the cat... no, it would be a risk he had to take.  Turning his attention back to glenn and gogeta, Crono would see glenn charging him down. Crono and his clones would stand back to back to back, as if eyeing the battle field. the real crono would have his back toward where the cat was, but both of his clones would have the cat in their line of vision. while the real crono would be attentively listening and waiting for something abnormal to catch his attention.

"glenn seems to be holding his own" he would think to himself remembering the spars and training they had done together. Crono trusted Glenn and knew his strengths. They were both men of honor, even if he was a frog. Crono's right hand rested against the hilt of his blade, refreshing the chakra seal undernethe it. he wasn't sure when nero would appear, but he would be ready. moving his hands ahead of him he would preform the chakra seals he needed to mold lightning chakra before gripping his blade with his off hand releasing the chakra into it. the wood in the boken would insulate the ability enough to render the attack non lethal, even though it would still be quite powerful.

The shiny red eyes of the boy finally made contact with three appearances: the silhouettes of the two genin and the toad summon of one of them. Nero, Nero Koutaishi, the genin with the red eyes who made sure to leave an intimidating look on others, was now in the form of a white and golden kitten. "Oh god..." he has thought to himself, "I have never thought that I would have became this pathetic. Transforming into a kitten can be considered a good idea only to those ninja that are not smart enough to find a better solution. Now that both Crono and his toad summon is out of the dust cloud, I can finally enter the battle once again, without any hesitations, but of course with caution.".

Nero watched the area. He was watching the battle field but especially the movements of the toad summon, while we would have been sprinting through the same field as a cat. He would turn around a wall nearby, and use transformation technique once again to turn into a crow instead of a cat. The crow would have looked averege. Black, full of feathers, and ugly. The crow that was in fact Nero then flew towards the other side of the field, and then landed on a branch of a tree nearby, that would have been behind the toad. He would have first planned on striking the toad from above and rendering it unable to take on the rest of the battle, that was going to take place just now, with more action and excitement than before, hopefully.
 
But on second thought, Nero would have decided both it would have been too easy and that it would have been too stupid if it failed. He would instead plan striking Crono. Nero would have realised that the samurai heir was ready to use his weapon, probably with an outcome as devastating as the previous Jutsu he had used, shouting its name. Nero, when he was above Crono, many meters away from him in height, stop the Transformation, and started falling down. It was just a battle, and he indeed did not want to cause serious injuries. He was not making any sound when falling down through the air, so in order make his fall obvious for Crono, so that the samurai would have knew where he was, he was shouting while he was falling down. "Up here, Guardia !" he would have shouted in a friendly manner, pulling out his katana at the same time. 

He would aim a slash at the boy, or perhaps use the blade to defend himself from the Guardia, if Crono attacked Nero as well.

Glenn's strike would connect with gogeta causing him to be flung back and knocked to the ground, presumably knocked out, his attention grabbed by the shout of nero behind him, yelling at crono from above, he would turn to look.. attempting to see how his companion faired in his duel.  

the three cronos would look up as Nero decended down upon them.  The real Crono was ready and leaped backward about 2 meters, his body almost horizontal during the jump. using he intended counter, he would quickly thrust out his off hand, pulling and firing the blade, hilt first toward nero, aiming the strike to the center of the mass above him. should the blade strike the resulting impact would explode out in a 5 yd radius. Crono knowing this would continue moving in a backwards sommersalt to prevent himself from getting caught in the explosion.

should the attack initially miss or be dodged, Crono would activate the seal of return on his bracer to instantly cause the blade to spring back towards himself with nero between them, this time attacking him from behind with the same strength and speed.

Nero, realising he would be no match against Crono's attack which was coming at him with quite an impressive speed, at least so for Nero, the Koutaishi clan member decided he had really not many chances to dodge the blade. He would first move the katana into a position were it would make a 30 degree angle, so it would send it away. Later, seeming as Nero was to be compromised again, being left in front of Crono with no tricks. Nero wouldn't want to be caught on a situation like that, so he would use the transformation Jutsu, when he would have already been landed on the ground. The blade on the other hand would have recently started moving back towards Crono. 

Nero would be out of the blade's direction anyway, not being between it and the samurai. Anyway, Nero would once again be transformed, this time into a rat. He would move away and enter a crack in the wall. Once he was on the other side of the wall, Nero would release the Transformation Technique. He would try thinking of a new strategy but nothing would come to his mind. Nero would be out of hope. He would jump over the wall to the other side. "Fine." he would say, seeing as Gogeta fell too, "The battle is over.". It seemed there was not much to do but give in. "Though," he would say, smiling, "Next time it is going to be harder for you. Just saying". He would have said that with a smile; it was not out of ambition at all. Well, not over-ambition, at least.

Nero would then keep talking, if Crono did not continue the battle. "So... What now ?" he would ask.

Gogeta woke up and knew it was the end so he turned and sat down thinking that he screwed up his plan to help his partner. He got up and walked over to Nero and said sorry with his hand out. Gogeta said I know i wasn't any help and all but we can be friends. He then turned to Crono and said the same thing. Thinks for the spar though.

[lol, what wall did you enter Nero? did we suddenly appear inside a maze :P.  lol, i'll go with it ^_^.. and np, gogeta... just trying to hurry this along somewhat so we get our gains before chunnin exams start.]

As his blade returned to him he formed a release seal with his right hand, causing the lightning chakra in the blade to disapate before catching it. He wondered for a moment why the chakra in his blade didnt explode out when it contacted Nero's sword. "hmmm... maybe it has to do with the wood.... Hi rai ryu wasn't exactly created for use with an insulated weapon. using his left hand he would catch the blade as it darted from his right, causing him to spin to the left a full three hundred and sixty degrees. after regaining his footing he would draw the sword up before returning it within it's saya. As Crono looked for Nero, Glenn would approch him, pointing toward a crack in a nearby wall. Crono's left hand would remain on his blade as Nero would appear above the wall waving the figurative white flag. Crono nodded to Nero as he accepted his surrender. "Very well." his left hand released his blade while is right once again rested on the hilt. he felt a little dissapointed in his teammate. Giving in so quick after only one attack. This may have just been a training excersise, but he, himself had hardly broken a sweat. He could only hope further battles would not lead him to feel wanting. Crono would turn toward Gogeta as he started to get up and walk over to them.

Glenn however still wasn't sure about Nero. He did not share the same level of trust that Crono had in his teammate. Crono was honorable to a fault, as was he; but ninja by their very nature were deceiteful. Crono's one redeeming quality was that he was, in fact, samurai and not ninja. he would keep an eye on Nero, while the other was on Gogeta. an easy feat when one considers that Glenn's eyes were on different sides of his head.  

Crono would nod and shake gogeta's hand. "no problem" before returning to Nero's question. "well, if we are done, perhaps some teriyaki beef. I believe my mother is preparing some for dinner, which should be soon." 

Crono would then walk over to the Wooden boken that was still laying on the ground near where Gogeta was knocked down at and picked it up, hoisting it over his shoulder. 

"you both are invited" he looked over to Glenn. "and you as well are always welcome, my friend" glenn nodded, still keeping an eye on the other two. After hearing their anwsers, he would Bite his thumb and would summon a small flying messenger frog. hurriedly drawing upon the blank scroll kept in it's pouch, he would scribble a small note informing her of the guests before telling it to hurry home.  Crono would then begin walking towards the village common before heading to his clan's district.
