Shinichi's Genin Exam
Mon Jul 01, 2013 12:49 pm
Shinichi sat up in his bed quickly, turning off his alarm before it even went off. He'd hardly slept at all, he was too exited for his benin exams. He was finally gonna get his headband and his genin team! He quickly got dressed and headed for the ninja academy, grabbing a piece of toast off the table as he went out the door, and eating it along the way. He entered the classroom and took a seat, waiting for the proctor to call on him.

A loud crash could be heard from the window on the right side of the classroom as the silver haired proctor flipped into the room, landing by the desk located in the middle. His attire was that of a chuunin and his head band was covering his left eye," alright let's get these exams started...now lets see," he rummaged through the desk looking for the clipboard with all of the names on them. After spending two minutes finding it he laughed for a moment then cleared his throat," Ahh okay Shinichi Nara come forward and begin your genin exam, good luck and above all try your best," giving the boy a thumbs up he would sit the clipboard down and wait for the boy to finish.
[alright do 800 words on the Henge and Bushin techniques, also throw in some words on the cool looking proctor]

All around him, academy students of all ages and sizes were waiting patiently of the proctor to arrive. Well, some of them waited patiently. Others were a bit more fidgety, trading blows and arm wrestling, trying to prove who was more likely to pass their exams, or taking bets on who was least likely to pass. Shinichi himself talked idly with a few of his friends, who were about as exited as he was to finally be done with school and to be moving up to benin rank. That elusive headband of their village was the prize of the exams, and each and every one of them would do almost anything to get it. Still, the proctor was taking his (or her) sweet time getting here (Or maybe they were all just really early, who knows.) and they were all starting to get bored. One of his friends fiddled idly with a kunia knife, another was doing push ups for no reason. Shinichi was making himself content by using the shadow imitation technique to possess one of his friends, teasing him and forcing him to dance. It was pure, chaotic, fun. After what seemed like an eternity, the proctor finally arrived, crashing through the window. For a moment, everyone froze, before they all dashed for their seats, and Shinichi and his friends scattered, sitting down and pretending to be perfectly innocent students. The proctor was a cool-looking silver haired man wearing his headband over his eye... to hide a kekkei genkia? Whatever the reason, it looked pretty cool. He wore the garb of a chunin, and he looked
Shinichi was a little taken aback. The proctor didn't seem anything like what he had expected. He seemed a lot more laid back then most, but he seemed like a pretty good teacher. After a few minutes of rummaging through the papers, he laughed a little, then called on Shinichi. He stepped forward nervously, nodding his head.
"Okay... So Henge and Bunshin no jutsu. Easy." He said under his breath to himself, as he started making hand signs for the clone technique first. He messed up the first time, his hands slipping as he tried to put them together. Nervously, he looked up at the proctor.
"Crap! My hands slipped. I'll try again." He said, hoping the proctor would allow him to try again. He was so nervous about this, his hands were sweating. He made the hand signs again, this time correctly, and created his clone, who appeared directly to his right side. It would give most people a strange sense of confusion to stand next to yourself, but Shinichi was an identical twin, so the feeling was normal to him, having dealt with it all his life. So far so good, the clone looked perfect to Shinichi. His hair was exactly like his, which was difficult to do with bedhead as bad as what he had today, and his jacket had the little rips in it exactly where they were normally. He then lifted his right arm to test the reactions of the clone, and his copy did the same, mirroring him. To prove he had done this correctly, he made a wave with his arms, the clone mirroring his actions, completing the wave, making a really cool effect. He looked back t the proctor nervously, indicating that he was done. He then dispersed the clone, getting rid of it.
Next was the transformation technique. He loved using this one, it went great with the shadow imitation technique, the Nara clan bloodline. It was good for tricking people into thinking they were safe, and then pouncing the moment they had their back turned, and it had won him many a fight, even if it wasnt exactly the most fair move to use. He blinked quickly, realizing he'd been standing there for a few moments just flashing back to his previous spars involving the technique.
"Oh, sorry, I was... thinking." He said unconvincingly, getting ready to preform the technique. Shinichi made his hand signs, and preformed the transformation technique, transforming into the proctor. The first thing he noticed was that he couldn't see out of one eye, since the headband was covering it. He checked his hair, which was the same silvery hue of the exam proctor. The clothes were the same chunin jacket and pants, and every stitch was in the right place. All in all, the technique seemed flawless so far.
"I think I got it..." He said, in the same voice as the proctor. He nodded his head. "Yes!" He said excitedly, pumping his fist. He dispersed the transformation, turning back into himself.
"Alright! Did I pass?" He asked excitedly, not believing it was that easy. He smiled at his friends, waiting for the proctor to tell him if he passed.

After the boy performed the jutsu, he smiled for a moment and applauded him," you did well Shinichi and don't worry about the little mistakes, you performed the jutsu with style and grace so I hereby award you with your symbol of passing- The Kumogakure head band," lifting his own up to show a single silver eye he would hand Shinichi his head band and ruffle his hair.
