- Spoiler:
Mission Name: Cleaning Up Memorial tower
Rank: C
Type: Chores/Help
Character Requirements: Genin Squad/Chuunin or higher.
Mission Location: Village, Konoha
Word Count Requirements: 1000
Repeatable? Yes
Reward: 900 Ryo
Task: Memorial Tower (A place where great deeds and items can be stored and admired by all the villagers) needs a chuunin (though preferred a genin squad) to take some time to clean up the floors and displays and make them look nice and new again. There are several floors and several artifacts in this tower, so it will take time a precision to make sure that everything gets clean without destroying anything in there. One main part of the mission is to take a large artifact and move it several stories to another display floor, so that must be done in order for the mission to succeed. Good luck.

Now, it says Konoha there, but considering this is in Tengakure section I will assume Vret simply forgot to edit that out and make this in Tenga, thanks.

As soon as the window washing was done another bird would follow bringing details of their next mission to the Genins. This was chores as well, same rank, about the same amount of work, slightly smaller pay, but whatever. Rin would let the kids some rest after the job well done, while he himself made his way to the tower in question, checking out the work that needed to be done. The tower was not as big as he expected, certainly not as big as Kirigakure had and the reason was fairly obvious. The Hidden Mist was old, a lot older and with greater and richer history than Tengakure. For a moment Rin sank into memories of his old home, of its culture. Granted it was not so technologically advanced or so peaceful as Tengakure, but it was rich in its own way. The long past that it had, the pre-eruption origins, the legendary Seven Swordsmen on the Mist, even the mythical Bloody Mist, which was scary to the people of Kirigakure themselves. What Rin could see here were only scrapes compared to that, a medal for keeping a tower safe, a hat awarded for discovery or a big golden spoon for winning the early eating competition. These thoughts made the young captain sad, for he felt not only the personal loss of the Mist, but the cultural and historical as well. He would do some of the work before the Genins got there to lighten the load - cleaning a few displays, repairing some stuff, but most of the work would still be left for them, while he kept his mind's eye on them from the distance just like before.

Haru would nod as the messenger bird arrived, brining them details of their next assignment. It seemed today was a chores day, cleaning jobs abound. That didn't bug Haru very much, because he was usually a bit of a neat freak anyways. He would head to the memorial tower, not saying much, before heading in.
"Wow. This place is a dump." He would say as they reached the tower. Shrugging, he would go to work, Timber helping him out when he could. They polished glass, dusted displays, clear trash from the floor, normal cleaning stuff. There were all sorts of things in the memorial towers, from honorary things like medals for defending the village and preventing a conspiracy, to genuinely pointless things like cooking contest awards and "1000th visitor!" pictures. They really needed to get their priorities straight with how easily they handed out awards... And now that he thought about it, the same could be said for jobs like these... Haru wondered subconsciously about why Ninja always got assigned jobs that should be left to laborers. He wondered if there was an employment problem because of this, it seemed pretty likely. When he finished cleaning, he would double check the place, collect his money, bid his teammates adieu, and head home, probably to train, and try and unlock the sixth of his eight gates. He had a lot of work to do if he wanted to pass the chunin exams. He figured he worried too much about this kind of thing, but he had a tendency to worry too much about this kind of thing.
