Fiery Star and the Moon Dancer (P, NK)

Yozora was meditating in one of the dark rooms in the ANBU HQ. With Xyxer gone god knows where, as well as Kenchi not quite here either, a lot of the work and responsibilities has fallen on her. Making the increased patrols happen, as was requested by Shinji, was not the worst part of it, as apparently keeping the patrolling in check and maintaining them was more work than simply giving an order to start them. The girl did not know so much paperwork and management was involved in being an ANBU, carrying Tenkage's word. During the breaks the girl would get, she would not go home, but merely retreat to a more distant and silent chamber of the Headquarters to rest or meditate with Yuumei. Recently she felt like she was about to break some sort of limit in that regard, but this is not about that. Feeling like a caged bird was killing her, more and more she would find herself itching to slice someone. These retreats would help her get the grip of herself as she would not come out until she felt refreshed enough, but this time was different. Her trying to calm her mind was interrupted prematurely and before the poor kid could say anything other than address her, Shigure was already at his throat, her eyes scanning his surprised expression. Immediately she was glad she managed to restrain herself and did not end the boy's life, as it would have turned into quite a problem. But it did not mean she was calm again, in fact it was completely the other way around and she felt that if she was to come back to the office she would go insane. Her hand would move back and Shigure would rest on her back, behind her right shoulder. The boy would now deliver the message, which was the reason her disturbed her rest and also the reason of her newfound joy. Apparently the increased patrols had spotted someone not too far from the village. A person was recognized as a high ranked ninja from another village. Not listening to any other details, the girl simply asked where it was and rushed the hell out of the building and into the plains. Finally, she is going to see some action! If they were high ranking, then they would most likely be able to stand their ground against her and if that were to be true, then she might finally get a chance to go loose!

After watching the meteor shower with Sokka, and even experiencing a meteor falling down to the earth, and even taking a part of it, Nero was making his way to his house back in the village hidden in the sand. But why did he decide walking instead of teleporting to the village with his garganta ? Well not only was he not sure how strong the teleportation was, or how fast it would have happpened, Nero also wanted to enjoy the view around the path. Either way, he was walking without any regrets. "It has been a useful day..." the Goka clan leader thought to himself, "Wether or not it took a lot of time, it made up to it... A meteor shower like that is not something that can be seen everyday. And also I got to meet a fellow Tengakure shinobi, whom I have recruited to the organisation. I assume he is going to be leading our Tengakure branch now.". He would walk along the path thinking about these and others.

"NEROOOOOOOO" Sokka would yell "WANNA KNOW WHAT I SAW TODAY? A BIRD"Sokka would continue "OH NEVERMIND! ITS JUST A SALAD!" Sokka would say "Yknow when you mistake a salad for a bird? Thats happened right?" Sokka would add "WELL BAI BAI NERO KUN!"

Yozora would dash through the wooden branches, cutting some edges to make it faster to the spot described by the Chuunin who worked in the intelligence department, who was responsible for waking her into this mood and also responsible for bringing her these wonderful news. The girl did not bother to wear her ANBU mask, only the multiweave mask that would partially hide her face and protect her from airborne poisoning and such. Anything to indicate her as a ninja from the village hidden in the sky would not be apparent, the headband hidden under her cloak. Really, she did not want any responsibility, she was simply out for some fun. It was not her fault, after all... the guy walked into the wrong neighborhood! 

Soon she would notice the lone figure walking through the plains and jump out of her shadowy shelter of the trees into the open.  As stated before, Shigure would rest on her back, with the hilt right above her right shoulder, her other katana would be on her left hip and her ninjato on the back of her waist, with the hilt on the left side, slightly above the katana's hilt, so not to get in the way if she wanted to unsheathe the blade. Both blades on her side and the back would be concealed by the cloak, only Shigure's hilt out in the open. Before she even got close to the man, her senses already signaled him being above the strength of the regular ninja. Immediately activated Meigan would only confirm that. Without any restraint anymore, the young Shinkou would simply smile, her left hand gripping the ninjato's hilt as she approached the man from behind, lunging to the right and letting the blade fly into a slash at his back. The attack probably would not kill, but it would at least get him on his toes as well as prove his worth in a way, if he manages to get away and in what way. Just in case her other hand would rest on Shigure's hilt. And at all times the blood red glowing eyes would follow his movement with full attention, the smile not leaving her hidden lips.

Nero facepalmed. Perhaps the person that he was trusting the captain rank of the organisation was not as smart as Nero thought he would have been. He would be going easy on the boy though. "Nevermind Sokka." he would have said, "Stuff like that happens. Make sure to differ people from animals though.". He would then sense a chakra signature he is not yet familiar with, or is he ? He was not great at differing chakra signatures yet. Either way, Nero would be sensing the Chakra coming closer and closer at him. he would turn around and spot this girl with a drawn weapon and her hand on the hilt of something else.

"Oh shit." Nero would think, waiting for the girl to get close enough and would use his scorch release manipulation to create streams of scorch from under his feet and his arms which would allow him to launch into the air with approximately the same speed as the girl. The girl would perhaps go through the scorch but since Nero did not want to harm her, the scorch would not be hot enough to harm her. After Nero landed, assuming he did, he would stand towards the girl and ask Who are you and why did you attack me ?".

Before she could get to the man, he would turn around to face her, fiery stream would shoot under his feet and his arm, propelling him into the air like a rocket, avoiding her slash. This was the first time she was seeing this kind of ability, the chakra in front of her would seem like some sort of mixture of fire and wind elements and while it did not seem very hot, in fact she felt like she could walk straight through it without getting burned, her eyes saw the obvious destructive potential in this thing, as well as her mind already labeled the ability as an advanced nature release, utilizing two elements at once. All that would only mean that the guy she was facing was no grunt and that the fight would be most interesting.

Avoiding the scorch, Yozora would lunge to the side, intending to flank the man. His words would echo hallow in her ears, as she only wanted to fight. There had been too much talking for her recently. Until he proves he is worth speaking to, she would not utter a single word. As her initial attack failed, she would let the ninjato rest in its sheath, then quickly grabbing a couple of kunais from her pouch next to it, however that would not be her initiation. As soon as her target was in sights again, Meigan measured the distance between them to be about 10 meters, Shigure would be unsheathed and infused with Wind chakra. In the same move it would be swung down, sending a wind slash towards the man. And again, this would not be the end of it, the technique just used, called Gale Cutter was actually one of the weakest of Yozora's techniques, while being her only physical ranged attack, it was rather slow and she did not expect it to reach her opponent. However, the kunai she was holding might, if she added something special to it...
As the windy strike proceeded towards her target, she made sure her actions would be as hard to notice as possible, as by then the man's attention should be on the wind slash. With a swiftness of the wind, chakra would flow into her left hand that was holding the kunai, which would blur out and fan the two kunai at the man with about three times greater speed than the windy slash. Both strikes aimed at the man's, who had just landed, shoulders. And yet again, while this was a really nice attack, that was not the end. While her opponent was busy with those attacks, Shigure would get infused with chakra once more - this time for a different purpose. It would blur out just like the kunai and rise up to a horizontal position at her shoulder's height. A silent hum could be heard from the blade, as gentle vibrations took it. The sound would become louder as the technique fully activated, her Singing Blade taking bloom. And the smirk under the mask...

The Jounin of Sunagakure could not help but realise that his attacker was a girl, a rather fast and seemingly experienced one, that is. She was too short and small to be older than Nero too, unless she was a special case. Nero could not see any headband being worn by the girl and it was obvious for him that she had a shady appearance too, hiding under that cloak. Nero would be observing her actions. He had to judge her of being a missing ninja... Perhaps a mercenary ? Now that Nero thought about it, it could be an assassin rented to kill him for the past... Actions, which were not deemed "Alright." nor "legal" by most of the crowd. Though Nero thought he had covered those deeds as close to perfect as possible. Regardless, according to the way she attacked Nero out of nowhere, and did not answer his question meant that there was going to be a battle. And by the looks of it, one that was going to be hard at the very least.

Nero could sense the chakra taking a form of slash and moving at him with a speed not that impressive after seeing how fast the girl could move herself. He would notice that the slash was a Technique using the one of the very elements Nero had himself. He would jump over the slash, realising some chakra usaeg once again by the figure of the girl, but of course, with his level of sensory, he could not really understand what was being done absolutely. He would land and raise his hand to see what occured but... The speed... Oh, how blind the poor Jounin was. Of course, the Wind Jutsu was supposed to be only a distraction. Perhaps it was to distract Nero away from the technique, which he did realise. But it did not help him, did he ? No. Whatever was thrown at him were too fast. He could hardly track the movements of them, whatever they were. Unfortunately, even though they were a little below Nero's reaction speed, they were in a far too close range.

[I assume you could/did not use Flash blade along with storyteller. If so, tell me cause i will have o edit (then Nero would be caught under the Genjutsu)]

On the bright side, they were aimed at Nero's shoulders and not another point closer to his "center". Nero would have jumped back down to the ground, starting the previously-planned action before the technique was released since he thought obviously, if the distraction was to the below, the real hit was going to come to the top. He would, either way create some mroe scorch from the bottom of her feet,  that would form a shield covering Nero. It was made just in case any attacks came to the Nero who was now on the ground. Nero would hear the vibration caused by the blade but luckily would not be caught under the genjutsu it transmitted. The jounin of course sensed the chakra being infused to the sword once again, but could not understand it being a use of Genjutsu.

Anyway, Nero would hopefully go past through the steps that were the girl's attacks. "Shit." he would tell again, "She is experienced... And... Advanced... Should I activate the sharingan already ? But she would probably be able to sense it ? Somebody at her level should... Shit.". Nero would then realise he had no choice but to activate the dojutsu to be able to track any further techniques the girl could have used. After all, the battle had just started... Nero would get up with other streams of scorch. His sharingan would be observing the girl's muscle movements and Nero himself would be sensing her chakra. The chakra was getting more and more clear every minute. He was also getting more familiar with the spesific chakra signature this girl had. Nero would then create 3 small orbs of Scorch which would then grow larger to be a meter in diameter each. They would all fly towards the girl with a speed that Nero first thought would be even more than the technique she had used aiming at Nero after the slow wind slash; but later, after giving some thought, he made them weaker just in case.

If the girl were to move the scorch release orbs would have followed her. If she were to disappear, and was not also able to be sensed by Nero, the Goka would start creating a Garganta as well as creating some scorch to surround him, at least half a meter away from his body on any of the sides. He would be hoping that the situation did not come there. He did realise that the girl was someone to be scared of, so he did not want her to disappear, for the scariest thing would have probably been that. Nero would still want to be able to question the girl, but did not really have a chance to trap her but not kill her. As he said, or at least thought (he did not quite remember) to either Azaiyo-sama or Koroshi-sama (again, he did not really remember about this occasion) his powers, like his brother Xuro's, were based on destruction and not sneaky and smart pin-point attacks. Still, Nero might have had a shot, that was either tiring the girl off or doing just the right amount of damage. He was going to try both.

Yozora would follow her opponent with a silent gaze, as he easily dodged the Gale Cutter, which was no surprise, and used same fiery expulsion as before to avoid the kunais. At this point she would notice his chakra flow change, indicating some sort of chakra use in his eyes. It took but a moment for her to recognize Sharingan in one of the man's eyes. She knew Sharingan because of her extensive studies on world's doujutsu, when she was trying to identify her own, that was before Yuumei spoke to her. She also knew Sharingan only manifested in the Uchiha clan. Could it be that this man was an Uchiha? This question would bring a dilemma to her mind, which would cause a pause in her attack, in which the scorch orbs were created and launched at her. If he indeed was an Uchiha and possessed an advanced element, she may be fighting a much stronger adversary than first anticipated, not to mention the possible hate of the probably strongest clan out there, if this goes sideways. But if he was not an Uchiha himself, which meant that he had stolen that eye, that spelled that he had killed one to get the eye, or at least something similar, which did not reduce his threat much.

At this point the girl would notice three roaring orbs of blazing fire racing at her. Meigan would suggest their strength not being all that impressive compared to their speed, so on top of probably not being able to dodge the attack, the girl would simply do a couple steps back, at the same time letting her left hand unsheathe her second katana. She was under impression that her opponent was holding back, if he could use such fast moves... well, let's just say the power they carried with them were not adequate. As the orbs came close enough, she would expel yuumei and her chakra at her front, blasting the attack in a shadow shroud, which neutralized the man's chakra. In a moment the orbs would be reduce to but a few flickering little flames that would gently float and then settle down on the ground, where they would be extinguished by the morning dew, along the shreds of the shadows then stopped them.

The song of her blade would now reach its conclusion and Meigan would confirm it not being strong enough to make the blaze wielder succumb. Yozora would keep the smirk and let the blade down, both swords not at an angle by her sides. Perhaps they should talk and pipe down a bit, after all the defense of Yozora did not come cheap for her.
She would raise her head a bit and inquire. "You're strong. May I have your name?" At the same time she would not forget to keep her guard up, in case he man suddenly got an idea of attacking her.

"Shit." Nero thought to himself as the girl cut the scorch release orbs and they were no longer under the Goka clan leader's control. "Impressive..." Nero thought to himself. He realised what was wrong with the plan. "The orbs were too weak for her to not be able to cut through it seems... But making them stronger could have resulted in Nero hurting the girl far more than he had intended to. Either way, he would be ready for a counter-attack, seeing as the girl's katana was covered in chakra once again. Only then would she realise the particular chakra covering the girl's eyes. "A doujutsu ?" Nero would have thought to himself, "I can not see it with my blind eyes due to the hood and everything, but the chakra... Perhaps another Sharingan ? Perhaps she is a Uchiha. I can tell she has dojutsu on both of her eyes so I don't think it was taken by someone like me. Though that does not make sense does it ? She could have taken both of the eyes of someone else too. Well, I hope it was not a Byakugan. That would mean I am seriously in a tight situation.".

He knew the potentials of the Byakugan thanks to his brother Vergil, the member of the Hyuuga clan and the ex-captain of the Brotherhood of Light. Nero smield, remembering about this occcasion. He realised how he was remembering so many occasions about the brotherhood, even when he was away from him. Of course at first it would have sounded like Nero missed his brothers when he was away from them, which was not entirely false, but just not the particular reason for this occasional recalls. "It seems I did have benefits from leading the organisation, after all." he thought to himself, "Experience, as well as knowledge, if not necessarily did they cause the developments in my skills and of course, my improvements on Ninjutsu.". He would but not be distracted away from the fight because of these thoughts. They were nothing but a recall of the past, which was pretty much only that and nothing more.

"You're strong. May I have your name?". The Goka clan leader could not help but smile as the girl started talking, and even called her strong. Perhaps this was a set-up, but perhaps, acknowledge... Nero would of course still be cautious. This girl attacked him out of nowhere after all, and has not even told him why, which was a common thing between the ninja. "Oh," he said, walking towards her slowly, stopping after not getting closer than 5 more steps than were he previously stood. "Now you want to talk ? Well, if you want my name, lady, you should perhaps show me your face first and tell me yours. And if not them, at least your purpose for attacking me.". Nero sure hoped that this meant that the girl was not going keep trying to kill him, or at least tell Nero why she was executing such an action. "Hmmm..." he would add, "And who are you working for again ? I assume you are either a ninja or a samurai, and more likely the first by the looks of it; tell me, are you a mercenary hired to kill me, or are you a village ninja ? If the second, once again, I want to hear your purpose on attacking me from behind.".

With the activation of the sharingan Nero could have sensed the chakra flow of the girl and it was rather... Different than usual. She seemed to have an external part where the chakra was flowing through. "An implantation, maybe ?" the Jounin would have thought, "Perhaps a way to accelerate the circulation of the chakra flow ? And perhaps a way to make Chakra easier to be molded ? Anyway, I assume the guessing game won't do... Let's get to know who she is first, that is rather more revelant and important now, isn't it ?". Along with those thoughts, Nero's attention would have benn on what the girl was going to say. He was rather too curious about this girl. Her eyes, her style and these techniques (except for the wind salsh, of course) along with the speed of those projectiles, which Nero still did not know what and her general way when battling against Nero with finally now this curious extra chakra spot. Nero would have been eager for any kind of answer that would have been given by the girl. He would unpatiently wait.

For a moment there, as the man slowly approached her, keeping in mind not to get too close and remaining at a reasonable range, Yozora thought he would straight up answer her question. But what she heard was not entirely what she expected. While it was pretty normal to reveal your name before asking for another's, Yozora felt like holding the upper hand here and was merely acknowledging her opponent by inquiring his name. But he did not stop there, he would ask her for her purpose of the attack and even dare assume she was hired to attack or even kill him. At some point she found his extended speak too long and simply cut it short by taking action again. Talk is for the talk minded, after all. As the man was saying the word 'village', taken by an impulse, the girl would jump at him at her full speed. She would aim Shigure to slash his torso and if provided with a chance, she would use her second blade genjutsu, which was supposed to make you think you were poisoned. However, this one was even weaker than the previous illusion she attempted and would most likely not land. But it no longer mattered. At that point, regardless if she used the genjutsu or not, she would activate the substitution technique without any seals as she held blades in both hands, replacing herself with some random branches and causing a lot of smoke in the man's face. She would go to where her kunais had landed, pick them up and after a glimpse back, she would head away from the man leaving the area and then circling back to the village. This would be remembered though, as he had peeked her interest even if he talked too much.
