Getting Ahead (P, NK, Aang)

Zuko had been released from the hospital a couple days ago, and he was finally fit to train. He and Aang had decided to spar today, so he was waiting inside one of the many training rooms of Tenga. His brother was constantly nagging at him to train, so train he would. He'd train a lot. Zuko wasn't going to take this anymore.

"YAHOO!" he exclaimed. Right now, Aang was riding his greatest jutsu: The Air Scooter! It was truly remarkable. It allowed him to go anywhere he wanted! The only problem was that he couldn't hold for a very long time. Despite this, the boy was determined to make an enhanced version once he was a genin. Right now he was riding his Air scooter to the training ground to spar with his brother, Zuko. He was positive that if he could survive fighting with Sokka he can match Zuko! 'Finally, I'm here!' he thought as his scooter disappeared.

He then safely landed on his feet, a few feet away from his brother. "Hi Zuko! Are you ready to start training?" he asked with a smile.

Zuko grinned a little at his brother's air scooter. "Very. I can't wait to get Sokka off my back," he said. He realized a second later that his word use was actually a bit of a pun, considering the most recent events. Anyhow, Zuko got into a fighting stance, leaning more towards offense rather than defense. He was sure Aang was faster than he was, but he was still stronger in some areas.

Aang nodded his head as Zuko replied to his question. "Yea, Sokka has been getting on about you not training. I think he's getting a little bit too obsessed. But that's Sokka for you! All he about training and fish!" he laughed at his last sentence. He saw his sibling settle down into a fighting stance. Figuring out the fight was going to start soon, he settled into his own. 'Now let's see, what kind of attack can I use' he thought, 'Oh, I got it!'. The younger boy would dash to Zuko's left. He knew his brother couldn't catch him since he was faster.

Aang then slid in the ground, similar to the "Getting under the closing door" movie slides, still on his opponents left. He then attempted to do a spinning kick at his brother's left foot. "Maybe this is a little to easy to dodge" he mumbled.

Zko couldn't catch Aang, no, but he could easily track him. As Aang attempted to knock his left foot out from under him, he simply spun on his right foot, doing a 270 and stopping to face his brother. He didn't really think as he fought; He just did. When he was fighting, he had no allies. He wasn't going to let up at all. Only being about a set away from his brother, he would simply step forward and attempt to stomp his stomach with his full strength, 10 points.

As Aang had predicted, his brother dodged his small attack. He didn't really try with that one, he just wanted to see he could improve the attack. At first Sokka was the one to use it and he got interested. He furrowed his eyebrows as he saw his sibling attempt to step on his stomach. The only way he could doge this was rolling out of the way, and that's exactly what he did. He quickly rolled the right and got up off the ground. The boy dusted himself off since he didn't want his clothes dirty so early in the spar.

"Nice move" Aang commented. He then rushed towards Zuko and aimed a punch at his stomach.

"Thanks, you too," he replied, getting ready for the next move. Zuko didn't bother to move out of the way. Instead, he blocked the fist with his palm. But instead of directing him away, he grabbed onto his brother's fist with his full strength, keeping him from pulling away. Now, Aang was shorter than Zuko, and he was also lighter. Then again, not many people are taller than 6'1", but that's aside form the point. Zuko used his other arm to grab ahold of Aang's forearm. "Up an' over," he said, giving just a moments warning before he began to lift up quickly. If all went well, Zuko would have lifted Aang into the air by his arm, turned while Aang was in midair, and slammed him into the ground.

Aang was already planing next attack while Zuko was occupied with his fist. 'Okay I'll just.. no no that won't do. Then I'm going to... no that won't work either. Maybe I could- hey why am I going into the air?' he wondered. Coming back to reality, he would finally notice his brother lifting him in the air by the arm. "Wait a second this is like... No! Not again!" he exclaimed. Their other sibling, Sokka, did this to him all the time. It was the only move that Aang couldn't dodge or evade. It also annoyed him to the max since he overused it.

Before his brother could even attempt to flip him, Aang had sent a kick towards his face. He was determined to avoid that move at all costs. He was just getting sick and tired of the same attack!

Zuko released Aang's arm mid-flip in order to duck and evade the punch. H stepped back and steadied himself, waiting for the next move. Zuko stood for a slit second, thinking through possible moves that could be made by both him or his brother, coming up with a few different combos in just a few seconds.

Aang sighed in relief as Zuko released his hold on him. He didn't want to be flipped anymore, he hated it now. It was obvious ever since Sokka did it to him. So he guessed that Sokka was to blame for that. Before he landed on the ground, the boy back flipped while he was still in air. He then gracefully landed on the ground and settled into a defensive stance. 'I'll have to see what he will do next. He's probably going to flip me again since he knows how light I am' he thought, 'Guess I'm going to have to do something about that'.

He waited patiently for his brother to make the next move, positive he could find a way to evade it.
