Getting Ahead (P, NK, Aang)

Zuko evaded the kick, but not by dropping Aang's leg. Instead, he ducked his head, threw Aang's leg up, and backed up, all in just a moment. If this were to succeed, Aang would have momentarily been in a hand-stand, and then would have fallen on his back. After that, Zuko felt a sharp pain in his lower back. "H-hey Aang, let's continue the spar another time, ok?" Zuka asked, stepping back a little. "It's my back."

Aang smiled a bit as Zuko dodged his attack. It was obvious he wasn't the only one getting better. His brother had been getting stronger as well. Soon enough, they would catch up to Sokka and be a team together! He could see it now, they would be going awesome missions with each other and help one another get more powerful. 'We're going to be the best ever' he thought his a gigantic grin on his face. He was brought back to reality again once Zuko had thrown his leg up. It had sent him into a handstand that he was unprepared for.

He barley managed to stay up, almost tumbling various times. Eventually, he had gotten into a comfortable position and pushed himself into the air again. Aang then performed a small back flip and landed on his feet. He nodded his head in understanding at what his brother had said. "It's okay Zuko. I'm kind of glad we stopped now, I was getting a bit tired again." he said with a laugh, "Well, since the spar if over I'm just going to head home now". The boy quickly performed a single hand sign and formed a ball of air that he threw onto the ground. He did a small jump and landed on the ball, balancing on his feet.

He then turned and went off into the opposite direction, but not before waving good bye to his brother.

Zuko just nodded and walked out the door after his brother had exited. He'd probably go to the park and relax or something for a little while.
