Getting Ahead (P, NK, Aang)

Both attacks were aimed to Zuko's right, so he just moved over a little and back and inch or two. His arm had not been fully extended when Aang caught it, so he was able to do this. The attacks missed by a few inches. Zuko had aimed with his right fist, so that was the one caught. With his left fist, he swung a punch toward Aang's neck, right along the spine part. There weren't many ways to dodge this, as  by the time Zuko's fist would have hit Aang's neck, Aang's foot would have only just touched the ground.
 
(left's and rights are in his POV. This means that was Zuko to hold up two hands and look at his hands, they would be the same right and lefts and in the paragraph.so basically when Zuko moves to Zuko's left, he is moving to Aang's right and vice versa.)

Aang saw his attack miss by inches. Seems like he was right when it was possible that he could be proven wrong. Currently he needed only a small hit to be in the lead of the fight. He wasn't about to let Zuko get the hit instead. He saw the punch coming towards his neck and caught that with his last free hand. He had to cover his neck more if his brother was aiming for there. It was a very vital spot, since Zuko was stronger he could possibly choke him for a few minutes. And he didn't want that to happen now would he?

Since his right foot had landed on the ground he quickly put it back to where it used to be. Since he now had two of Zuko's fist in his hand he was positive he couldn't use them while in his hold. Aang decided that he was bring up his left foot and tried to kick Zuko's stomach. He performed this after he got closer to his brother so he wouldn't miss this time.

Zuko knew he couldn't dodge this attack, so he embraced it. However, he didn't embrace it without making a little mark of his own. Just as Aang's knee would hit him in the chest, Zuko's forehead would have slammed into Aang's. Zuko would have sustained the least damage from the full-force head-butt, as his health was the highest. Just as he couldn't have dodged the kick to the stomach, Aang probably couldn't have dodged the hit to his forehead. Zuko would have been, though, nailed right in the stomach. It didn't hurt much, though, as it was his forehead that would have hurt the most. Aang probably would have been in more pain than he, so he would have just waited to see what his brother would do now.

Aang grinned once again as his attack hit it's mark. Finally, he has gotten a hit on at least one of his brothers! His victory wasn't long lived as he saw Zuko try to headbutt him. The only thing he could do was retrieve his foot from Zuko's stomach and bend backwards. This way he could doge the attack. He released Zuko's fist, a thing he didn't want to do but had to, and set his hands on the ground beneath him. He then performed a handstand. While his feet were going upwards it would have hit his brother's jaw. He would have been close enough for this to happen.

If Zuko didn't dodge this it would surely hurt him. In fact, he wanted Zuko to dodge. If he couldn't, how could ever spar with Sokka and do well? 'I'll just have to wait and see' he thought.

Zuko, still a little dazed from the kick (He was still getting used to moving around again, so his body was still kinda... weird) barely managed to move his head back. In fact, Aang's shoe still grazed his chin, but it wasn't enough to do any real damage. A slight bruise at the very most. Zuko didn't really know what to do next, no he steadied himself for a moment. After regaining his composer, which only took a moment, he looked at Aang. "Make a move," he said.

After Aang's foot had grazed Zuko, he went into a full handstand. 'Aw man, I'm really tired' he thought. They had been fighting for a while and his stamina was slowly diminishing. While he was in handstand position, he bent his arms and sent himself into the air. He back flipped and safely landed on the ground 2 feet away from his brother. He then plopped himself onto the ground and smiled at his sibling. "Mind if we take a quick break? I'm pooped" he said with a laugh. He set his attention to his feet and tried to take off his shoes.

After he was finished with that, Aang brought his right foot closer to him and started to massage it. "My feet really.. hurt" he mumbled. Since they were taking a break the boys could probably take this time to talk to each other. They do it that often anyway...

Zuko sat down as well. He was feeling a little more tired than he should anyway, just getting out of the hospital. "No problem. My stomach still hurts from the kick anyway, and my body's still a little weird from the weeks in the hospital," Zuko said, placing a hand on his stomach. "You're getting pretty strong, there, Aang. Not Sokka-strong, but strong."

(OOC- That's fine. Not sure where my stamina is atm anyway.)

Aang did a small smile at his brother, appreciating the compliment. "Yea not Sokka-strong. Do you know he has a sword now? He didn't even tell us!" he exclaimed. Honestly, you would think he would at least tell them what was going on. Still, their other sibling was getting a bit distant lately. He was becoming strong on his own leaving the both of them in the dust. "By the way, how did you get in the hospital? Sokka mentioned something about that in our earlier spar" he asked. It had worried him to hear that Zuko was in the hospital.

It made it worst that he didn't even know why. It had him worried sick! 'At least he seems fine now...' he thought, looking at his brother.

"Oh, heh, he didn't tell you, did he?" he asked, more of a statement than a question. He recalled the events of the night, and just how he had been put in the hospital. "Well, to say it outright, Sokka broke my back. I was paralyzed these past few weeks. He didn't seem to care, but wow, I thought he'd at least tell you..." Zuko said. Ok, he might have still been mad at his brother before, but now.... Now he was nearly furious. They were going to have a talk pretty soon...One that needed to be had.

Aang's jaw dropped as this new piece of information was put in his head. "W-what?! That can't be right, Sokka would never do that... would he?" he mumbled the last part. He couldn't believe that his brother had broken Zuko's back. It made no sense to why he would! Just what were they doing anyway that would have made Sokka do that? He decided to a his ask Zuko that later since he seemed to be a bit mad at the moment. 'Maybe it was because I wasn't told yet?' he wondered. He shook his head coming out of his thoughts.

"I was scared for a long time when you didn't come back. I thought you had gotten kidnapped or something! Maybe even worse!" he told Zuko. He was very relieved he had gotten out of the hospital looking good as new though.
