Lava and Magnet [P,NK]

Xuro of the Kinzokutei clan walked through the streets of the busy village hidden in the Clouds. It was a warm cheerful day and the sun shun brightly among the clouds illuminating Kumogakure. Some puffy clouds lagged about in the sky still not stopping the sunlight from doing its job. Xuro walked with a smile on his face dressed in his black attire consisting of his black jacket, top and pants. The only thing making Xuro unique among the crowd of people is the huge Gold Gourd Xuro carried on his back. It was strapped with a while rope tied around Xuro's waist. The Gold Gourd being patterned with Xuro's clan symbols and his name written on the one side. Ofcourse it was his gourd and he could do what he wanted with it and decorate it as he pleased. He walked through the village unmindful of the heavy gourd that was strapped on him because he didn't have to really carry it. Using his gold dust manipulation skills, he could freely manipulate and make it follow him wherever he went.

And so it did as Xuro walked into the training grounds. He stopped and gazed around for a moment before continuing his walk 20 meters into the training grounds. He then walked up to a huge shady tree. He would place his gourd down on the soft luscious grass below him and then lean against the tree pulling out a kunai. He would then spin the kunai around his finger waiting for someone to arrive so that he could spar. I don't know somehow Xuro was in the mood for a spar today. He hoped to get his gold dust in action against somone. He made a soft whistle as he awaited for someone to spar with....

Yet another beautiful day in Kumogakure, the seemingly endless sunshine that this village offered made Jin love this village more and more, it was hot here, but the climate was perfect, it wasn't unbearably hot, the sun was shining, kids were playing in the streets, it was truly a village of peace, and general happiness, Jin had been looking for a village like this for ages. A village where he didn't see a new dead body each day, while, some residents of Kumo were a bit strange. Like Yaju, while Yaju was their team's sensei, something seemed really quite eerie about him, as if he had something to hide or as if he had some form of secret, it was really rather strange, Jin respected him though, he didn't fear him, but respected him, after all, he did kick all three of their asses in their last training session and that basically demanded respect. Jin's arm still hurt like a motherfucker but he could actually move it this time around, which was great, at least that reassured him about the fact that his arm wasn't broken and was merely sprained, Jin was still going to train despite the white hot pain that his arm delivered but he was a ninja so he had to endure these things on the battlefield, so he was going to endure them now, it didn't matter.

Jin looked around, this village was so beautiful that he didn't care that he didn't have a house for the time being, he just loved this village so much, it was if this was where he was supposed to be, not Funkagakure, this place was his home, Kumo's forehead protector felt as if it was destined to sit atop of Jin's head, and he felt like this place was home. Jin still didn't have the money to buy a house, so he was hoping that he'd be able to crash in one of his friends' house until he could find a solution for a permanenent household, that was the plan anyway.

Jin was also happy to have met his teammates, he didn't properly talk to them, their names were Hunter and Xuro, if he could remember correctly, he was hoping he'd run into one of them today, so they could hang out and get to know eachother better and form bonds, which would really help to strengthen their morale and co-operation during missions and important tasks which Jin was really looking forward to doing.

He made his way towards the training ground, and Jin predicted he'd see someone familiar, and he did, it was Xuro, still with the gourd, he recognized him pretty easily, so Jin thought he was gonna strike up a conversation with him, maybe they could even train together, he must've come to the training ground for a reason and that reason was most likely training.

He approached Xuro, greeting him with a simple "Hey!" 

Xuro was satisfied when someone approached him. Even more so when it was his new team mate, the Lava boy- Jinichi Terumi. Xuro smiled and replied, "Hey Jinichi. Nice to meet you once again. What brings you here??" Xuro spoke as he continued to play around with the kunai in his hand. This was excellent. If he and Jinichi would get into a spar or train well it would be killing two birds 1) Xuro would get some training down and finally would get to test out his magnet release gold dust and 2) well he and Jinichi could get to know each other better and learn more about each other's moves and techniques and also build up on team work. Xuro would anxiously await to see what would unfold.

It was cool seeing one of his teammates here, it meant that he'd actually be able to catch up with the guy he was going to be doing missions and tasks with, they'd be able to better understand eachother and form bonds, and improve teamwork and morale, two very important factors when it came to being in a squad, and so training with Xuro would be a very good idea, Jin would finally learn more about Xuro's abilities, and better co-ordinate themselves when teamwork was a neccessity, so this was truly a great thing.

"Oh, nothing really, I was just contemplating doing some training." He simply replied, an easy answer really, an honest one too. No point sitting around doing nothing with this much free time, besides, he wanted to get stronger, he had to impress his Sensei, so he was going to work for it, and also to help protect his village and his teammates should the need be, he wanted to be able to crush the most threatening of foes, and save his teammates if they got into any danger, and also be able to hold his own against a bigger opponent. Jin knew he could get much stronger and that his current level of strength was only the tip of the iceberg, and he was gonna reach the end, if he wanted to win those exams or the Battle Royale he'd have to work for it.

Xuro was quite excited. He would get a chance to do some training with Jinichi. He would maybe get to learn more about Jinichi's kekkei genkai of Lava release and probably see it in action. It was really awesome might I add. Xuro hadn't seen anything like it before. It was something unique and spectacular, something only a member of the legendary Terumi clan could do. Xuro could also show Jinichi's his magnet release abilities and his amazing Gold Dust. Something which Xuro hadn't yet achieved when they had their team meeting. But now, Xuro was a lot stronger and better skilled than that time so maybe he would get such a beat down like the last time. He was going to show them just what the Kinzokutei clan of Sunagakure was all about. Just what they were truly capable of! No one would ever take them for granted once Xuro would show off his skills. Their magnet release skills were renown in history such to the extent that it was even capable of paring and overwhelming that of a Bijuu's abilities. Ofcourse Xuro wasn't THAT strong yet. He wasn't even 1% as good as that. Just like that, Xuro skills was also just the tip of the iceberg. But that just motivated and gave Xuro more courage and determination to continue and push even more harder. He would never give up and also push beyond the limits to achieve even better than what he would plan. He was to give his all, for his village, for his family, for his parents, for his clan, for himself. He would make sure he gets what needs to be done by any means necessary. He will reach a level such that he won't be the tip of the iceberg anymore. Nay he would he be the biggest iceberg such that he could bring the titanic down. Right now however he just needs to focus on training his skills and being strong enough to impress his sensei Yaju and also to protect his fellow team mates...


"Excellent! Care for a little Spar then, Jinichi of Lava?" Xuro would reply having a small smile on his face while being just as chilled as he always was. He would fold his arms and wait for a reply from his comrade Jinichi Terumi...

It wasn't everyday that Jin found somebody to train with, so he figured a proper one on one combat would give both of them vital experience, which was much needed at the moment, Jin knew this entire squad had limitless potential, but they needed to become stronger if they were going to tackle the higher level missions and hold their own against bandits or Missing-Nin, or even if they went to war, which seemed unlikely, but the probability was still there, this whole Fire Nation Alliance seemed kinda shaky, as a lot of villages seemed to have a different moral compass, especially Funkagakure, nonetheless, these three Genins needed to make a serious effort if they were going to become a team capable of executing some of the most difficult missions supplied to them by their Kage,which was bound to happen soon, he presumes Yaju would want to take his team on a mission at some point to prove their worth in an actual combat situation or when executing complex tasks, so a mission would be an ideal way to prove their worth in teamwork, Jin was excited to do all these missions with his new comrades, because he knew that they all had mountains of potential so they'd all learn together and become stronger together.

This was also the start of new friendships. He could see himself ten years later at the bar with his teammates reflecting on times like these. It all seemed so far away yet so near at the same time.
"Bring it on then, Iron Man." Jinichi joked light heartedly at his teammate, he was also pretty serious about this, he was going to experience Xuro's techniques firsthand, and Xuro would experience his, it would definately be an exciting prospect. But Jin was going to prove that he was definately the strongest of the three, after all, nobody is equal especially when it came to ninja.

Jinichi had agreed to spar with Xuro. Xuro was kind of excited that he could spar with his team mate. Not only would they be learning something new but also Xuro could show off his skills. Skills he didn't quite have back then at the team meeting.

Xuro would nod and reply, "Very well then lava boy. Prepare to witnessed the potent awesome power of the Kinzokutei!" Xuro would then stand properly and then walk away from the tree standing 2 meters away from it with his gourd standing erect just 1 meter to his right. The gold color of the gourd reflecting in the sun shining, illuminating bright rays of Gold in all directions. He would now face Jinichi and get into a firm stance spreading his legs out and keeping steady. He brought his arms out in front of him and held the Kunai in the one hand (that is the right) while a tight fist in the other. He would then smirk and say to Jinichi "You making the first move or what?!" Xuro spoke in a very loud and serious tone. Not a tone of anger but just seriousness. That was what Xuro was when it came down to training or spars for that matter. He didn't take things for granted and now things were serious. Not serious that they were about to kill each other. Nay just serious enough to have a good, clean, healthy spar. It was the time. The stage was set. The crowd was going wild! It was the finale. The match everyone was waiting for! The Lava Boy vs Iron Man! The Man of Lava vs the Man of Gold Dust! Jinichi vs Xuro! Terumi vs Kinzokutei!


LAVA vs MAGNET

It seemed the battle was going to commence, and Jin could feel Xuro's undying confidence, which was a nice sensation to feel. But at the same time he didn't want to have to rain on Xuro's parade, as the only person coming out on top in this battle would be Jin. But Xuro seemed eerie kind of confident, as if he had learned something. In fairness. He had probably gotten stronger, and that was probably the case, Jin wouldn't be at all surprised if Xuro had trained for some more abilities and to amplify his potential. He knew that Xuro would be a lot stronger than when they faced off against Yaju only a day before.

But what Xuro didn't know, is that Jin had also gotten stronger, much stronger, and today was the day where Jin was going to show the peak of his current form. He was going to have to prove himself here, there was a lot of ego on the line here too, and this was bound to be a serious battle. Jin didn't look too fussed by this though, he was ready to do this spar, and he was going to show Xuro just what he was capable of. He felt stronger than last time, much, much stronger, he felt basically unstoppable right now, and he was going to use his motivation to his advantage in this match, hoping that his desire to win would give him an edge in this all out brawl. Jin had to be careful here, he didn't want to injure or kill Xuro, after all he was his teammate and having him dead or incapacitated would be incredibly impractical should sudden mission plans arise in future, plus, he was basically a lot more than a teammate, he was a comrade. And comrades stick together, Jin was going to have to be mindful throughout this entire fight and think about every decision he took, whether it was worth taking, or bracing the consequences, it'd be a severe mental and physical test for the young, orange haired Terumi.

He got into a fighting stance, analyzing Xuro, Xuro had brought out a Kunai, so weapons were allowed here, it seemed, Jin did the same thing, grabbing the ring of the Kunai with his finger, flicking it up and catching it as it spun through the air with his left handJin needed something to parry Xuro's kunai, after all, and what better way to do that than with another Kunai?

Jin spaced his legs out, holding his right hand out straight and curled up, fingertips facing Jin's face, much like Rock Lee's fighting stance, although, Jin didn't know who the hell he was, but the stance would've probably reminded someone a bit more educated on world history about the famous Taijutsu dude who used to roll with an ancient legend.

He heard Xuro spur Jin on, requesting he made the first attack, Jin hated doing this, he usually prefered analysing the first attack, but, he didn't quite know how to proceed right now, he just settled by using Jin's extreme speed to rush towards Xuro, attempting a flat right handed fist to his diaphragm, which would essentially wind him, Jin held his left arm out, blade cocked sideways, ready to parry a Kunai attack should Xuro decide to attempt one, afterwards he'd attempt to perform a sweep kick on Xuro, hoping Jin's speed was enough to outmatch his comrade, the sweep kick hopefully knocking Xuro off of his feet and onto the ground.

Xuro got ready. Jinichi would make the first move. The first move was all Xuro would need for now. Was Jinichi going to use an epic lava jutsu again?? Was he going to use another jutsu Xuro hadn't seen before?? Perhaps maybe a low rank jutsu just to get things started. Or was it going to be a taijutsu fight at first? Xuro would wait and anticipate what would happen. He would use Jinichi's first move to see just how the boy works. How fast he was and what type of attacks he may or may not use. Any Xuro would be ready and completely focused. Everything blocked out and his eyes remained completely focused and narrowed on Jinichi watching every slight tiny movement. He didn't know what to be install for for the first attack so he had to make sure he was completely ready for it. Upon noticing Jinichi taking out a Kunai, Xuro would slip his other hand into his pouch grabbing another kunai now having both hands with kunai. He held them in front of him steady and tight ready to flex his reflexes. He would then continue watching as the first move was about to be made...

In the Blink of an eye, Xuro would see Jinichi dash at him. His speed had even noticeable for Xuro. He couldn't predict much less even see any sign of Jinichi's attack. That is why Xuro, just as soon as he saw Jinichi dash at him, would fling both Kunai at Jinichi and leaping two meters back as he did that taking out his katana holding it in both hands. If Jinichi were to come any closer to him, he would perform a diagonal slash going from up, down from left to right...

Jin kept completely focused, he had to understand just what made Xuro tick, just how he worked, if Jin was going to win this battle, he was going to have to use all of his physical prowess and by getting into Xuro's head and understanding just how he worked, it was definately not gonna be easy, every movement and every action that Xuro took, Jin would have to act upon it and counter it in some way or another, it was gonna be a serious challenge, but if he was gonna prevail in this battle he'd need to really sharpen his wits, Jin was usually pretty good at co-ordination anyway, but here he'd really have to work hard, because he was sure that Xuro would essentially try and pull off the same tactic, and try to understand just how Jin worked, and Xuro would definately try his best to defeat Jin in this showdown, Jin wasn't gonna lose this battle though, not today, he knew Xuro was a pretty smart guy, and Jin was just gonna have to prove himself smarter.
 
Jin jumped to one side as soon as he saw him attempting to throw his blades, deflecting the kunai with the one he was holding and avoiding the other one in the same motion, Jin then body flickered as Xuro stepped back, hoping to reappear right next to Xuro's right, away from his blade and punch him straight in the temple with the intention of knocking him over and disorienting him.
