Calm but cautious. That was a good combination. If she had freaked out externally, that would mean he would need to train her in that, which was always slow and boring. "Marvelous. I half expected you to freak out. Emotional control and anger fueling are two very important factors. If you hadnt shown them, well... I dont like training people in emotions. Its a very annoying hassle." Hilariously enough his eyes, even during the comment, never shifted downwards, looking at her head the full time. Her reaction was amusing, really. He could practically hear the thoughts in her head. Then again this was the guy would could predict people better than a sharingan ever could. Not in combat, but in personality. When you know so much about someone, you can predict their actions. For most people, it can take years of a close relationship to learn this. I think we all know by now that Kuro is not most people. He can learn much about someone just by a single sentence. Quite a skill really. "Now, what are your strongest, and weakest skills?"

Alice thanked the gods of the ninja world that it had only been a test. She was not in the kind of mood to be hit on and possibly have sex with a man she had just met, even if he was the most  powerful person she had ever met all her life. She doubted she would have been able to fight back enough to stop him since she was no where near his level. The only time Alice wanted to have sex with people she barely knew was after a couple drinks at the kumo bars that she was able to get. Luckily in Kumo even children at age 10 are usually able to drink without being caught, or scolded. She was lucky to live in the village with the most bars. 

Alice was happy she had been smart enough to keep calm. She hated to think of herself ending up like people who showed emotion. Though she imagined it would be quite exciting and intriguing to watch someone else have it happen to them. The things she imagined lord kuro doing to someone caused her hearts to quicken again with twisted glee and excitement. Returning to reality just in time to here him ask her strengths, she panicked slightly again, what was she good at even? usually Alice was confident enough to list many many things she thought she was good at. Though she usually was just joking around, this was not the time to be doing. "Umm strengths, well I'm pretty good with my byakugan, and the gentle fist, I also know my away my threads and beasts. As for weaknesses I'd say about everything else." She said bluntly. She had little to know confidence in anything else. Would he even want to waste his time training her, with how terrible she was, even if she had no morals, what good was that when she was so weak.

Kuro grinned. A fresh one eh? Perfect. One might find Kuro's logic flawed, but... actually, do you honestly, at this point, after all the nonsense that Kuro spoke, which, in the end, made sense, believe his logic could possibly be flawed? Anyway, the great thing about this girl was her moldability. Kuro could easily shift her to a pure taijutsu fighter, judging by her speech so far. However, seeing as he was pretty much not in specific need of anything, he would train her in what SHE wanted. "Very well... whenever you seek training, feel free to ask, I usually enter the market everyday, and I have not left the village for a long time, except to my lab, but thats different. Anyway, whatever you want to train, I can help. I may not necessarily be able to teach you specific jutsu or styles, but I can certainly help you make your own. Too many people these days go the simple route and copy the old jutsu, but if you do the harder thing, making your own powers as you grow, you will undoubtedly outmatch most anyone. Ill have to leave soon, but is there anything you wish to know before I do so? Anything at all." Kuro had no qualms about giving instruction on how to best kill someone to a little girl, well, she was close to his age, wasnt she? Eh, a year or so difference, but it hardly mattered. After all, he was the one who could be classified as an old man at the age of sixteen.

Alice listened attentively to what the man said as her heart beast octopus put the body parts of the corpse back on her bears back and then returned to her back restitching itself in with a swift dance of wild threads it was done. He had to go soon, but Alice still had so many questions! Luckily he said he could meet her in the market place most days, so she would be able to get some actual training next time. She needed to get stronger, she couldn't have much pride for herself otherwise. He couldn't teach her anything of his own which was sad, but he said he would help her with any justu she wanted to learn or create which was exciting. Alice had slight experience with creating justu creating her eight trigrams vacuum shot, but even that was based off something her aunt and mom had tried to make. "Yea I have a little experience with creating justu, and really anything?" She thought about asking him about what underwear he was wearing, but that was a dumb idea and he obviously had to be on his way. "What drove you to become what you are, what drives you to this day?" She finally asked slowly, something she herself wanted to know about herself as well. She and lord Kuro were a little alike so maybe she would be able to find out about herself through his answer. She probably should have had asked something practical like the best way to kill swiftly and effectively, or the best ways to torture, but she was feeling mushy tonight with her emotional high from her previous kill/tentacle rape session and all.

Kuro gave a small smile at the question, innocent as it was. The answer was dark, but that was nothing new really. "I was originally meant to be a servant, but I knew I was smarter than everyone else, stronger, and damn better looking. I had charisma, I had the drive to go forward, but I had no real goal. Up until I met Minatsuki, I had no goal. After that... I wanted to protect her, to be someone she could rely on like no other, someone who could shoulder all the burdens she had. The ultimate gaurdian. Protecting her became my goal, but not just physically. For a while, she was more powerful than me, but I grew fast. I wanted to be someone she could be weak in front of, someone she didnt have to be strong for." Kuro chuckled. "I wanted to protect her so she could protect everyone else. Now? Without that goal, its just about the satisfaction of being strong." He turned to leave. He knew he had said enough for now, it was still a slightly sore subject, but he didnt mind much. Hopefully his words would help Alice to grow herself, to become what she could rather than what others wanted her to be. His answer was true, but he left half of it out. He hated having to take orders from people he didnt care about, which was why he didnt mind serving Minatsuki, as she had his respect, however slight. Not many could say the same.

Alice would listen attentively to what he said, as she was eager to grow and become a ninja that could be sure of herself. She felt a pang of sympathy for him, his tragic early life, made hers seem normal, and happy. She could not imagine her aunt selling her into slavery, it just seemed like something a parent was impossible of doing, they were supposed to love their children and value them. She continued to listen and what he said made her think. Something to protect? Alice had never thought about what she had to protect. She didn't love or like many things, her value for human life was swiftly decreasing with each new murderous impulse and feeling she acquired. The only thing she had ever really had to protect was herself. The man mentioned a woman named Minatsuki. Alice had heard a little bit about her before on the streets and from her aunt. She was the sister of the current kage, and Alice had heard she had been killed. Her sensei really had a lot of tragedy in his life, though tragedy had been common occurrence in a lot of people's history's seemed to be at least somewhat tragic. Alice wondered if the whole world was just going to shit and turmoil, but she also did not care that much. She would ride the wave of chaos in the world if she had. As the man turned around to leave, Alice had one final thing to say. "I hope this Minatsuki person knew how much she meant to you.....Kuro Sensei." She said softly, and then also turned around with her heart beast bear petting it's head lightly, as she made herself back to the village with the body of her latest kill.
