Task: Reports show that of an underground fighting club in the village, where bets are made on animals forced to fight each other. We have always been one step behind them, as they move the location of the fights every day, but this time we have the upper hand. We know where the fights are going to be held next and when. Your job is to go there and stop them by any means necessary (without damaging property or the animals, unless they attack you first). Good luck.
Animals
Samaruo was assigned to yet another mission, this one would be involving anmals of all sorts. Samaruo didn't mind animals at all, it was the smell that turned him off from them. But, seeing how the pay for this mission was pretty good, a healthy sum, He decided not to forward it to any other shinobi. Samaruo's bank was pretty low, so anything would do good for now. Samaruo was walking the streets of the village, finding any leads that would lead him to the fabled underground fight arena. An arena that was even hidden from the ANBU, which meant the people In charge of the area were pretty good at hiding their tracks. So, it was imperative to keep a low profile for this mission, even the clothes that Samaruo wore today as different from his usual attire when he would take on mission. The streets were filled with people, but at this time that was to be expected, the market area was always crowded at 2. After looking for any sign of leads that could help him, he would see the pet store that was right around the corner from where he stood. The pet store, why not, it seemed like a good place to start Samaruo thought. Samaruo would walk casually into the pet store, waiting for the man who owned this stand to arrive at the desk.
Now of course this time would be different, Samaruo was already briefed on where the next fights would be held. But, Samaruo would rather make the mission a infiltration type, to avoid any unnecessary casualties. Not only did he want to stop the next fight from happening, but Samaruo also wanted to stop the one after that, and so forth. Just because you captured the leader of the pack, doesn't mean that he can be replaced. Many successful missions are often taken on once more, due to the fact that second I command of a gang take over and continue the previous leader's wishes. It happens all the time, but not this time, Samaruo would make them pay.
Samaruo arrived in the store with casual clothing, an all black shirt and pants, with white tape wrapped around his ankles. His long hair was let loose this time, which flowed freely with the wind. He didn't have weapons with him now, since he wanted to keep a low profile on this mission. Soon after he would hear foot steps that would make his way towards the desk. Out of the closed door came an old man, dressed just like any other villager. Samaruo would walk close towards the desk, preparing to ask the man a few question. They would be mostly indirect question, questions he would use to bring out any useful information about were and how these fights are funded, if he knew. Samaruo would begin chatting with the old man, he began with the weather, as it was very nice outside. The talk was going great, he really seemed to be in to simple talk like that. Then, after exchanging words, Samauro would then ask about rare breeds of animals, and how strong they were. The shop owner took a pause, but began informing Samaruo about how to breed such animals, and make their blood line very strong and pure. Samaruo even learned a thing about it, such wonders. Samaruo then continued back with the simple talk, till finally the shop owner caught on to Samaruo's tactic. He knew what he wanted, but wasn't sure to give Samaruo the information he requested. After all, he was forcibly in charge of the front the animal fight area owners owned. The shop keeper would ask Samaruo to return tomorrow, perhaps it was then that he could pass on a little information about the fight area.
Hearing his words, Samaruo agreed to come back tomorrow, perhaps that was the best time he guessed. Samaruo went on his way, leaving the old man alone in the office. When Samaruo was back on the streets, he looked up at the sky. The sun was setting, meaning it was nearly time for everyone to go home. It was almost time for the underground arena fights to begin, hopefully he would make it in time, in noticed. Samaruo would make his way down one of the alleys of the village, it was prior his instructions to go their since he was briefed on where to go. After turns and twist through the maze like alley, he finally arrived at the man hole, this was where everyone went to get to the fights. Samaruo would reach for the cover and twist the top open, the smell of the sewers were gross, but he heard faint noises, he was getting close to what he expected to be the fight arena. With a sigh, he would jump down into the dark underground sewer system, the manhole closed behind him as well.
Upon his decent, he would land in a semi water filled walk way. The water only reached up to his ankles, but the slimy feeling of it was highly unwanted by Samaruo. Samaruo look to see the structure of the walk way. It was poorly lit, many tiles missing from the walls as well. But, with the help of his highly developed chakra senses, there was no one in the area. Which meant only two things. One, The fight host and owners all had the ability to hide their presence, including the animals, two, Samaruo had a lot of walking to do. The second choice was the most likely answer. Samaruo would suck it up and walk, walk the endless halls of the sewers, maybe he would not notice the length on the trip if he focused on something else. he could only wonder.
While walking, his thought went on how he would end the fights, he had no weapons of any sort. Yes he did have the sharingan, but that was it. Samaruo would contemplate on this for sometime. Perhaps he could take some weapons from any guards that were nearby once he gets there, that's if they aren't too powerful.
Upon further inspection of the walkway, he would, finally come a noise that came from the same direction he was walking in. He was close, Samaruo would run towards the noise, his attention was clearly focused on the weird noises. The noised were a mix of shouting and barking, definitely sounds from animals. Samaruo would see a opening that was to his left, he placed himself against the wall, peek around the corner of the doo with his head. He would see tow guards that had there backs turned, they guarded the entrance. Samaruo would carefully make his way towards the guards, while their backs were still turned. But, Samaruo summoned chakra to his feet, allowing his to stick to the roof of the way. That way, when ever he would take a step, his position would not be given away.
As he got closer and closer, Samaruo would reach for the sheathed sword that was placed on the backs of both guards. there he was, standing on top of the ceiling above the two, his hands were inches away from the guards' swords. His hair hung downwards, but did not touch the two guards. Obviously these guards were not trained in the shinobi arts, otherwise, Samaruo would have been already sensed by now. His sharingan was now active, his eyes black no more, the crimson red filled his eyes with the blood of his ancestors, and finally swirled with the three tomoe. His vision was greatly enhanced, being able to see the events in a more finer detail. At last, the moment would finally arrive for him, he would quickly reach fro the two swords sword, both strapped to the backs of the guards. all that was heard by the guards was the drawing sharp sounds of the swords, and that was it, there vision went black. The guards would be struck down with a single blow, the swords that Samaruo held would slash through them, the rip that was made by their swords would cause blood to erupt from their bodies, they would now fall to the ground, lifelessly. Their deaths were truly a Hamlets end. Once the deed was done, He would stop the flow of chakra towards his feet, he would fall down to the ground, on his feet due to some minor acrobatics. The two sworde were still kept on hand by Samaruo, in case he would need them once more. The sounds of barking would grow louder and louder, the cracks made by whips were loud as well. Samaruo would hurry towards the direction, for it was part of his mission not to allow anymore animals to be harmed.
As he made his way he finally reached the holding pen where all the animal were kept. The boxes of cages which held them were stacked on top of each other, the misery of the animals were shown on their faces. Then, Samaruo sensed a guard that was making his way towards Samaruo's direction, he would brace himself as he would hide no more. The swords were now firmly gripped, waiting for it next victim. The doomed man would walk into the caged room, it was their that he would look up to see a faceless man, his hair preventing anyone to view his face. The man would try to run, bur it was useless. Like the two guards, he was hacked down by Samaruo. The blade in his right hand would be plunged into the back of the animal keeper, the blade was then pushed in to the wall due to Samaruo's natural strength. The lifeless body was pinned to the wall, the sword holding him there. Samaruo would take note of these animals, as he would have to keep them thee till they would be retrieved by the higher ups. The animals could attack Samaruo even if they looked miserable, it was a chance he was not will to take. Samaruo then headed tot he main area, since he looked at a map that was rested on a barrel near the right of him, 5 feet away. It was time to end this once and for all. Samaruo's form would disappear, making his way to the main arena in a flash.
The main arena was filled with many people, the boss sat at the center of the back stands, watching as the fights would commence. the animals were placed on the stage, injection shots could be seen on their skin, a drug most likely. The drug was used to enrage the animals, make them fight for long periods of time. Samaruo would be now placed at he back of the stadium, viewing this. It was time to put an end to this, with a few hand signs Samaruo would weave a few hand signs to summon his fire ball jutsu. The ball would make its way towards the top of the arena rook, aimed towards the lights. The room would go dark as the spectators would run out of the arena. The animals would pause in place as they were stricken with fear, even in there present state.
Samaruo would then wake up bright and early this mourning, strange how he would do so after he just did a mission last night. He still wore the same clothes from yesterday. As he woke up, he would notice a note that was attached to his window, he would retrieve this said note and open it to see the contents of the letter. The note contained the pay that was awarded to him on a job well down, his pay was in there, a health amount. Samaruo would then slip on his shoes and make his way towards the pet shop to see the old man. As he got there, he had saw the old man sitting out side, watching the many pets that were being brought into this office, the look in his face was priceless, so speechless he was. Samaruo knew this was his doing, since he was the one to complete the mission after all.
Samaruo would then see the man wave towards him, beckoning him to come over and chat with him, Samaruo nodded. He had to since it was a promise that he made. At first he would decided to walk away, but ended up going towards him, knowing full well what the chat might be about. The amount of new pets that arrived might place Samaruo into the pet store for a good amount of time, a forced job.
