Start of a ninja life

The young man had today gone to the training grounds to participate in some training, rather than his normal routine which consisted of sitting in the ramen shop eating noodles as he stewed in his own hatred for others. He was wearing his usual attire, a black short sleeved shirt with a high collar, a black cloak which had the Uchiha clan symbol displayed on the back along with white pants and black sandles that were often worn by shinobi. As he approached the center of the grounds all he could see around him that could possibly be used for training were trees. Most having a thin black layer of ash from various jutsus making contact with them near the base of the trunk. Slowly he would breath in and out to calm himself before moving his gaze from left to right to serve the feild in which he would be training on. Closing his eyes he would envision himself in the midst of battle, being attacked on all sides, when suddenly his eyes snapped back open.
Shifting his right foot behind his left he would turn on his heels, raising his left foot to near head height he brought the leg around in a swift swipe to simulate a quick counter attack to an opponent that was charging him from behinds head. With a slight smirk he was quickly realizing that he has far exceeded his fathers extremely simple self defense lessons with the swift and smoothness of his kick with such a minimal effort. With his foot still in the air from his attack he imagined two more enemies coming from his left and right he would slam his left foot back onto the ground and bend over placing his right hand on the ground as if he was preparing a cart-wheel and begin spinning. Continuing the motion he would bring down his left hand to continue the spin as he spread his legs out as if he were doing the splits with his legs in the air. To him he had just preformed a motion in which both of his outstretched legs had smashed into his opponents and sent them onto their backs. Ending the spinning motion he would push off of his hands and land back on his feet with both of his hands up, clenched into fists to prepare himself for anymore attacks. Envisioning one, final opponent charging him from the front he slid his left foot forward and crouched low using both of his fists in unison to strike the man in the chest, one over the other to send him stumbling back so he could pivot off his forward most foot and begin to spin with his right leg outstretched to attempt a leg sweep which in his mind worked flawlessly and knocked the imaginary onto his back. Ending the spin as he faced the man again he would stand up straight and stomp on his chest as hard as he could to end the battle.
Feeling somewhat proud of the maneuvers he had used he chuckled lightly as a breeze hit his face causing his hair to flutter to his side and in front of his eyes. However he did feel slightly fatigued from this little skirmish and took in a single deep breath before he sat down with crossed legs, directly where he was standing. Setting his hands to his sides, pressed against the earth he began rubbing them gently against the crisp green grass before gripping a hand full of the blades and ripping them out and holding them in front of his eyes before releasing them so the breeze could carry them off into the distance somewhat. He did not know if he would sit here all day or not, but with the breeze and the sun it seemed like a rather inviting spot to stay for quite some time until he thought of something new.

Sitting in his same spot for quite some time he realized he had not yet attempted a jutsu even though he understood the fundamental aspects of chakra control from watching his father train in his now destroyed homes courtyard. With a light frown from the memory of his father he stood up and formed a single handseal. Focusing his on his chakra intensely he attempted to create a clone of himself, and after a moment of concentration a small cloud of smoke erupted only a few feet to his side. As it cleared all that stood there was a very pale copy of himself which instantly fell to it's side and disappeared, it was obvious he was not proficient enough with the jutsu to preform it. He sighed heavily as he slowly looked around the field, studying the birds in the distance he thought of a game that could possibly test his agility. He would run towards the small flock and chase them to the treeline and once there they would be unable to fly directly upwards to escape him. In that moment he would attempt to climb a nearby tree and leap from it to catch a single bird and if he did he would treat himself to some ramen. Bending his knees and lowering his hips he prepared himself in a sprinters stance before bolting off of his heels and onto the tips of his toes for more thrust with each step. Arms swinging heavily from side to side he got into a long stride and was heading in the direction of the flock. Once within a few meters the birds would begin hopping closer to the treeline and attempt to gain enough speed to take flight. Sadly, and Kenshin planned they were unable to fly upwards in a straight path to get away in one quick movement, thus giving him his chance to catch one. Watching his surroundings closely, Kenshin mapped out a route in his head and began to follow it upwards. Using his left foot he would jump up and place his right on a nearby tree stump and use it as a platform to leap even higher to the first tree branch. Now with momentum he gained the next few strides to higher branches in a near perfect row were easy. Seeing that most of the birds had already escaped the trees and only a few were left, Kenshin took his chance and leaped from the highest branch of the tree he was currently on to pop up above the canape of the forest where a bird was emerging to escape. Reaching out with a single hand he quickly snatched the bird out of the air and spun in the air so that he would land on his back and indeed he did. Hitting with a loud thud, a puff of smoke was lifted up around him and he was unable to see, as he was laying there the bird began to squirm and due to the pain in his back he was unable to continue holding the bird and it was released. Slowly standing back on his feet he walked out of the forest and continued on as the wind began to pick up once more, causing his hair to blow wildly. Putting his hood up to keep this from happening any longer he would sigh heavily before walking torwards the exit of the training grounds and out to get a nice, hot bowl of ramen for the trouble he had just put himself through.
