First Meeting, the final lesson. [P]

Ashie giggles before going back to her father's side reaching up to grab his hand again. Looking from her father to Navi as they speak, looks like her father has more important matters than checking on the new hokage. Making sure she is to not interupt their discussion she speaks softly, "Maybe someday you can take me to Kumo too...right father?"

Not wanting to force him, since he is busy after all...he's god, god's don't get vacation.

Navi blinked a few times, how much did he know? Did he know that Navi eliminate a significant portion of the Kumogakure military? ....Eh, it was war, desperate times and all that. 

At the mention of Misaki Navi brightened a bit though, "Please send her my regards, she came to visit Konoha a while back and I'd like to remain on good terms with her and our two nations". 

While speaking his hand stretches out to rest on Ashie's shoulder, his index finger stretching out to poke the skin of her neck gently as a small chakra seal glows into place. In a quick moment if all went as expected a small black dot would glow before settling and fading slightly. He wasn't sure how much Ashie had already been told about Navi, but if any of his techniques had been mentioned at all, the purpose of this seal was likely not a mystery to the young girl.

Viper hears his daughters request, whilst also watch Navi place his hand on his daughters shoulder, with his Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan active he sees a small spike in Navi's chakra as he does this, he does not get worried and he will question it later on, he knows that Navi would not dare do anything to harm his daughter, especially in his presence, it simply isn't like him in the slightest so he dismisses it for now. Viper turns, crouching down to be at eye level with his daughter. "Ok Hunny, I have to talk to Navi about a few things." With this Viper reaches his left hand into his left pocket, pulling out a small bit of ryo before handing it to the girl. "Go out and get some ice cream or candy on the way home, I'll be there later on tonight." With this Viper ruffles her hair with his left hand if allowed. Viper stands facing Navi, should his daughter leave the room he can now begin his real discussion. "I was wondering also, have you heard anything about Volcano? Ashie mentioned that one of the kids in the Chuunin exams was from Volcano, so I was wondering if you have seen anymore around so we can see what kind of people we might be up against. My monitors so far have not picked up anything aside from mild civilian activity, so if they are planning anything it is quiet. Have you heard anything about Tengakure no Sato at all either?" Viper leans back still being near the door way, leaning against the right side of the door frame whilst looking towards him waiting on his response.

Ashie could feeling a shiver shoot down her spine feeling Navi poke at her neck, to which she takes her free hand and slap it to the spot where he poked at. Turning watching Navi pull away from her her brow would furrow in confusion.

I wonder what that was...it didn't hurt. She would think before turning back around to receive the ryo while her father ruffles her hair to tell her to head on home. "Okay, thank you father! You promise? I'll see you when you get home then, I'll keep the fireplace going for you!" She heads towards the door before turning to wave at her new uncle Navi and hearing her father begin his serious questions she scurries off to the candy store before heading home to take a nap, feeling tired from her training.

[Exit.]

"Hey, bring me some candy!" Navi calls out as the girl runs off, frowning slightly as he realized she might be just out of earshot. 

He turns back to Viper unblinkingly, not realizing the social strangeness behind the request and thinking on the question. "I haven't heard much from Volcano as it is, I do know that the area was once a hotbed for high ranked criminal activity, but it seems that the suspects in question are either laying low or have disappeared from the area. I haven't heard anything about Tenga since the Kage Summit either, most of the other major nations have gone dark from what I can tell."

"So what's the plan then? You wouldn't be asking unless you were planning something."

He can already guess that the answer is probably an upcoming war, but he would like to hear all the details and confirm his suspicion.

Viper hears his response, a sigh of aggravation released as he slumps more into the wall, his eyes closing. "This is what gets under my skin the most, I hate just sitting here without knowing what is going on, all we can do is make sure we aren't going to get surprise attacked, and we do not get lazy with our abilities." Following this though Viper looks towards Navi with a smirk, his following words said with a teasing tone behind them. "Hopefully you haven't let your skills go by sitting in the office sleeping~" A light chuckle is made afterwards as he waits for his students no doubt soon to be coming rebuttal.

Navi half smiles at the jab, willing to take it an offhanded step further. "Just tell me what needs to be done and I'll take care of it. I've always fought your wars for you anyway." 

With a scan over Viper his Navagan eyes told him all about his physical capabilties. They were significant to be certain, but nothing that a well trained ANBU or Jounin couldn't achieve. Of course Viper was always a mentally achieved ninja, his jutsu and wits are what made him formidable. Even so, his shortcomings left himself vulnerable to a few more retorts. 

"Besides, maybe sitting on that throne all day is making you out of shape." 

There was a casual friendliness to his challenging tone, but Navi's curiosity was peaked now that the conversation was taking a different turn.

Viper listens to the rebuttal, as he expects from him.  Viper chuckles a bit, letting him know there are no hard feelings.  "Well you were the best at it, you seen what happened when I sent Echo to do one of your jobs, you were always my most useful monkey for the special situations."  His smirk remains upon his face as he looks upon his form, "Well I deserve my rest, look how long I had to train you until you could take up my role"  He jabs, enjoying this battle between them.

His smile lessens slightly, turning a little bit more competitive in his tone while enjoying the tension in the air between them. "Someone has to take the 'role', especially when you'll need to call on me to protect the village, while you cower to protect your throne."

Already Navi's blood began to rush and a feeling of warmth fell over him, the thought of a worthy challenge or fight hadn't happened in a long time, and who else to give him a worthwhile battle then God himself?

Viper's eyes narrow a bit, Navi hit a bit of a button with that last remark, Viper thinking of a proper comment to make knowing this started in good fun and not wanting to go to far. "Well, not everyone can ascend to being a God like myself, it only makes sense for mortals to handle mortal affairs." Although this might steer things in the wrong direction, Viper is enjoying letting his ego out a bit, so long it has been confined and suppressed due to having to deal with people as a leader, and actually socialize with those that he could honestly care less about. Navi however, Viper does have his own respect for, seeing him on a level similar to his own, but hopefully Navi knows that himself as to not take what he said to seriously.
