An "Adventure"! .. Sorta. [Solo, NK] Empty An "Adventure"! .. Sorta. [Solo, NK]

Wed Nov 20, 2013 10:10 pm
He opened his eyes, vision blurring before finally going back to normal. His dark blue eyes, almost black, peeked around his room. He was so tired today... the boy didn't want to wake up. However, the sun had something different in mind for him. It shone down onto his eyes, not letting him get in some more rest. What a troublesome thing. Sora yawned and sat up while rubbing his eyes. He kicked off the blue blanket still laying on him and slowly came off his bed. The genin was still in his black boxers, that went a little above his knees, and white undershirt. His stomach rumbled, almost jolting him awake. Key Word? Almost. He lazily walked over to his closet and put on his normal clothes. The blue button up shirt with black jeans and shinobi sandals. Sora's friend still says that the shoes didn't match with the rest of his outfit. After dressing, he went into his bedside dresser and shuffled around the objects that were in it. He found the necklace his father left for him, a simple silver cross. No, they weren't religious. This was just something passed down through his family for the past years.

Sora slipped it around his neck and finally made his way to his bedroom door. His mother was going to get at him for not cleaning his room, but oh well. He slowly and calmly went down the stairs, not really in any rush to eat this morning. The boy ruffled up his hair, forgetting to fix it while in his room as he stepped onto the solid floor of his kitchen. Now all was good, since his hair was back to how it normally was. Yet another grumble from his abdomen erupted. And now a sigh. The young genin walked over the refrigerator and opened it, feeling the cool air it was giving off on his skin. He could, his mom was still in her room sleeping. The lucky woman didn't have the sun glaring through her window! He quickly grabbed a small milk carton along with a partially eaten egg sandwich. Of course, both of them belonged to him so there wouldn't be any trouble with his mother. Sora took the seat closest to him and the table, already starting to eat. Now, the author won't dwell on how he ate or whatever so let's just get to the point already. The Yuki burped after finishing his small meal while getting out of his chair.

He quickly cleaned up the mess he created and made his way to the door, ready to take a small stroll. Upon opening his door, the wind blew into his face, forcing him to slightly squint his eyes. He took a few steps forward and slowly closed the door behind, not wanting to make too much sound from the action. The boy then shoved both hands into his jean pockets and walked, simply going nowhere among the village streets. It was a bit windy today, which majorly explained to why there was such a strong gust when he opened his door. Many people bumped into him as he walked, forcing him to make a face at them. Sora really wasn't in the mood for stuff like that, even if it did happen very often. 'I think I'll go to the training grounds again today.' he thought to himself. The genin took a left once he came up to a small cross way, knowing that it was the direction to his destination. However, he passed by two little boys playing with their kites. Well, only one of them was. The other's kite was apparently stuck to a tree branch, close to being as high as a 1 1/2 story building.

Sora stopped his walk to look at the duo before him. Why wasn't that other kid helping the one who got his kite stuck? He could have gone to get an adult or some ninja or... anything really. Just someone plain useless. The genin sighed and walked over the the seemingly depressed child. He gave an assuring smile to the younger kid and went over to the tree the kite was stuck in. Sora applied chakra to the soles of his feet and put his right foot on the hard bark of the tree. He then put his left foot next to his right and continued to make simple steps going up. The Yuki seemed to be taking his time, yet again not in any rush. However, he could tell the child on the surface was getting a bit impatient. He sped up a bit, keeping his hands in his pocket though. The boy didn't take them out of his pockets until he came closer to the kite. It was around a simple 3 or 4 minutes before he reached it. Sora grabbed it with his left and pushed off the tree, forcing his body high up into the air. He performed a small amount of back flips while he was in mid air and landed safely on the ground that was below him.

The genin handed the waiting child his kite and ruffled his hair, just like his dad used to do to him. The kid grinned and happily started to play with the kite again. As for Sora, he just continued walking towards the training grounds. Unfortunately for him, he happened for have walked into a busy section of the village. As a result, even MORE people bumped into him, some almost pushing him to the ground. As another civilian pushed their way past him, the boy grumbled and began to jog towards the training grounds. He couldn't take this anymore, it was all too annoying! His speed eventually began to pick up, soon enough the boy was zooming pass everyone in his line of sight. He even managed to do some wall runs when it deemed necessary. He was sure that some of the academy students he went by were amazed by him 'awesome moves'. Well, the Yuki bet it was something a bit like that. As he ran, Sora jumped above a random civilian's head, since they were rushing towards him as well. Though, there was a man with a cart selling... cabbages? This was new... anyway. The man was pushing around his cart right in the boy's path!

Couldn't these people understand that they couldn't be in everyone's way?! Sora tried to stop, but instead of stopping simply tripped and crashed into the cart. The cabbages flew everywhere, hitting men, women, toddlers, cats, dogs, even babies had cabbages in their carriages! "MY CABBAGES!!" the cabbage man shouted. The genin nervously laughed and got onto his two feet, eventually starting to slowly back away. The Yuki broke into yet another run towards the training grounds, his arms flailing behind him along the way. Dust picked up as he ran, which should have made the cabbage man lose sight of him. Luckily, it did. So Sora was home free. The boy could see his destination ahead and decided to try and go a bit faster, even though he was going as fast as he could. Who knows, it could probably make his speed improve. His mind drifted to how strong his team was. There was his sensei, Yaju, who had the be one of the strongest people he had ever seen. And then there was his teammate Hanako. She had to be one of the shyest people he had ever met.

He still remembered their first meeting, it was almost like she didn't want to speak a word. She didn't open herself to them either, to Sora it was a but uncomfortable and weird. The boy drifted back to reality once he saw the training grounds only a few meters in front of him. He slowly came to a stop and went down onto his knees, panting. Of course, that run took a lot out of him. He nearly felt ready to simply pass out right there on the ground. Though, he couldn't just do that. He didn't run all the way over here just to take a nap! The genin pushed himself up off the ground and brushed the dirt off his knees, still taking a few heavy breaths. He took several steps forward and opened the gates the separated him from the grounds. He didn't bother to close it once he walked past it. The genin took a few more breaths before finally feeling his heart settle to it's normal, yet fast, rhythm. He did a few stretches, for his arms, legs, everywhere that he could think of to stretch. He then decided to do a small jog, even though he just ran what seemed to be miles in his eyes.

The boy started out slowly before getting a bit faster each minute. However, he didn't start to sprint, just simply jog around the place. He did around 10 laps before his warm up came to a close and he actually started his training. The Yuki settled on the ground before starting to do some sit ups at a fast rate. He moved onto some push ups after that, which went by quickly since those were easy for him to do. He sighed after he finished the small exercises and looked for something he could do to get some real training in. There weren't many ideas in his head since that was what he usually did in the academy though. Man that stunk. He looked around the area and soon spotted a few training dummies along with some rocks. Well... he could do something constructive with that couldn't he? Of course he could. The genin walked over to one of the largest dummies and quickly poked it's fake head. It seemed to be sturdy enough, so it should do. He jumped back by a few feet and settled into a defensive and offensive stance. One that he always seemed to settle into while in a battle.

Sora glared at the dummy and pictured it as his opponent, someone (or something) he simply had to defeat. It was in his way of progressing and it needed to be taken down! The boy leaped into the air, almost over the dummies head. When it seemed like he was going to kick it's head, the Yuki lifted his foot up slightly and stepped on the top of it's head instead, kicking off of it and landed on the ground behind. He then aimed a punch for the dummies back, but faked the strike. Sora quickly spun around the it's front and punched the area where it's stomach would be. He continued with a small combo, a another simple punch except aimed for the face followed up by a kick to the dummies left arm. After that was a punch and a few kicks on the stomach. The boy jumped back by a few feet, taking a deep breath. He wasn't really trying that hard on the inanimate object, but he really needed to see it as some sort of threat to him. He shook his head and stood straight up. "... This isn't working." he commented. And he was right, it simply wasn't really working for him at all. Maybe he should just perform action without really hitting anything?

Yea, let's just try and do that. He walked to the middle of the grounds and crouched down, his hands in a fist at his sides. He shut his eyes and tried to think of someone running towards him. The figure had a katana and was aiming it towards his head. Sora thought quickly and ducked under the sword, aiming a punch for the attacker's stomach. The stranger leaned to the right, dodging the strike and bringing the Katana down towards the boy's head. The genin went down onto the floor and rolled to the left and out of harms way. He pushed himself back onto his feet and whipped out a kunai, attempting to slash and his opponent. The enemy jumped back from the attack and dashed towards Sora again. However, the boy threw his kunai at the figure to stop it and quickly started run after the weapon. The imaginary stranger ducked under the kunai and aimed under katana strike towards Sora, this time trying to pierce through his stomach. Sweat began to run down the side of the boy's head as he tried something that was risky in his eyes. Seconds before the katana could hit him, he made a smooth step to his opponent's left side.

He then grabbed the kunai that should have still been over the stranger's head and stabbed it straight down onto it's head. His enemy screeched in pain the kunai plunged into it's head. The genin's mind started to slowly dissolve and he was back at the training grounds, panting. He didn't know that he could picture something so realistic like that! It was really incredible, it felt like he was actually trying to defeat someone. Weird how his opponent didn't have any face or anything... just a simple male human figure. Sora ruffled up his hair while taking several deep breaths, trying to slow his racing heart down again. His attention snapped over to the entrance where he saw someone else coming to the training grounds. They had already closed the gate and was heading over to where he was standing. It was a girl, with pale blonde hair and bright blue eyes. They were very pretty in Sora's opinion. She stopped walking over until she was about 4 feet away from the genin. "Hi!" she greeted a bit loudly. He blinked at her before lightly shaking his head and smiling.

"Hi. What are you doing here?" he asked her. He hoped that didn't come out as rude, since that what it sounded like in his ears. The girl grinned at him and opened her mouth to speak again. "I'm here to practice for my genin exams. I saw you training and well... want to practice with me?" she asked the boy. Sora quickly put away his kunai and started to think for a bit. He just did a whole training session... did he really have the energy to continue? He shrugged and nodded at the girl, sending her another one of his "famous" smiles with his teeth showing and everything. She squealed in excitement after seeing his small response. "My name is Izuna! And I already know who you are from the other girls," she giggled. Sora sweat dropped at the comment. Seemed like his fangirls liked to chatter a lot, not as if he didn't know that. He simply didn't know they told girls about, they probably told every girl they saw about him! He slightly shuddered at the thought and nodded on the apparent academy student. The Yuki jumped backwards and settled into the crouch he was in before.

The girl seemed to be surprised he was eager to start to suddenly, but complied anyway. She simply charged straight for him and aimed a strike for his chest, intending to do any type of damage on the boy. However, at the last minute he went to her right and chopped the back of her neck, sending her towards the ground. He almost looked like a blur since she wasn't as fast. To him, Izuna was moving just like a turtle. It was a bit sad, even if she was an academy student. Maybe speed simply wasn't her strong point? That could be the case. She slowly made her way back onto her feet and slightly glared at him. "Hey? What's the big deal!? Can't you go a bit easier on me?" she complained to him. The genin sighed and shook his head. "You don't get better by someone simply 'going easy on you'" he said with a frown planted onto his face. Izuna's eyes widened at his statement, and nodded in agreement after a while. What he said was true, no could improve by simply doing easy actions or easing up on another person. The girl furrowed her eyebrows and prepared to strike at him again.

Sora only crossed his arms and awaited for her attack, positive that he could dodge and perform a counter. She charged forward and slid on the ground, something like one of those 'movie slides' and stopped next to his right foot. She then tried to trip him, however it didn't work. The genin smoothly jumped over the attack and landed on one foot, one that was right next to the girl's head since she was still on the ground. He ruthlessly used his other foot to kick her stomach, hard. The attack sent her back a few feet, but she managed to get up after. Izuna was wincing though, proving that his strikes really did a number on her, even if they weren't any major ones. The boy saw Izuna perform several hand signs before a large cloud of smoke surrounded her. Once the smoke had cleared there were another two... of her. This must have been the clone technique. However, did she know that they were only illusions? That's why some ninja ranked it as a genjutsu. Though, she must have been using them for a diversion. Well she wasn't going to get him at all if she used techniques such as the academy jutsu.

Except maybe substitution, since that is a very handy one. Even Sora used it when he was in a tough spot during battles. All three Izuna's suddenly ran towards him, each one of them going in zigzags. He had to say, she seemed to be attempting to use them effectively. Eventually, they all got in front of him and aimed a punch for his face. The genin simply leaned to the left and aimed a punch for the right one's face. It hit it's mark and caused the girl to take a step back. She held her nose and blinked furiously, trying to hold back tears from the pain. "H-How," she stammered, "How did you know I was the real one?" Sora pulled back his fist and set it at his side. He then started to smirk at her. "Simple, I kept my eyes on you the entire time." he replied. Izuna blushed and bowed her head down. Of course, it was a bit hard for him to keep track, but with how slow they were moving it was a bit easier than usual. He used one finger to lift her head up to face him, making her blush deepen. "No worries!" he exclaimed, "You're better than most I've seen. Keep trying and I'm sure you'll get it." he told her.

Izuna blinked and started to slightly smile and him. She nodded her head and took a step back. "I think I should get going now.. thanks for helping me though! I saw what I need to work on... see you later Sora!" she exclaimed as she ran towards the gates and out of the training grounds. The boy watched her leave, and didn't fall down until she did. Man... he was pooped! He already used most of his energy in his training from earlier and that run around the village, so he had a hard time keeping up. The genin took heavy, shaky deep breaths. He knew it wasn't good to make quick short ones, you barely get any air that way. Eventually he managed to sit up and ran a hand through his hair. What a day he had. Everything just seemed to make him busy, he had never gotten this exhausted before! He shakily stood up and slowly made his way to the gate. After taking a few steps forward, he closed the gate behind him, finally exiting the training grounds. He walked as slow as he could to his house, moving almost like a drunk turtle would. The boy seemed to have gotten some looks from the civilians, but he really could care less at the moment.

"YOU destroyed my CABBAGES!" a voice exclaimed not too far away. Sora jumped in shock and slowly turned his head to face whoever said that. There he was only a few meters away, the cabbage man. And what was that in his hand? Oh only... a baseball bat... Damn was he screwed today. The boy immediately broke out into a run, moving as fast as his little body could carry him. The cabbage man followed suit, determined to bash the runt's head in this time! The genin passed by all the civilians that were, yet again, standing in his god damn way! Really, these people couldn't just always crowd the street like this. There were other human beings that had to go places, and others that had to run away for their life. At this current moment in time, Sora was one of those people running for their lives. He applied what little chakra he could to his feet and ran up the wall of a building, making it to the roof. The boy plopped down onto said roof, right onto his butt, and took a peek over the edge. He could see the cabbage man still down there holding the bat, glaring at him. If looks could kill he would be murdered ten times over already.

Sora sighed in relief and looked around the area. He could easily make from here to his house from jumping the rooftops. And that's exactly what the boy began to do. He took a gigantic leaps from the one building he was on top of, to the another, and then another. Minutes passed before he made to his specific roof. He could that it was his from the way the plants on the edge looked slanted and practically dead (he could bet that they were dead). He managed to make his way to his bedroom window, which was on the side of the building and climbed inside. He was sweaty, tired, and very dirty. He needed to take a bath before he Mum could catch him like this! He grabbed a fresh undershirt along with another pair of black boxers and dashed out of his room and into the bathroom. Luckily for him, it was located right across from his bedroom. Around thirty minutes went by until Sora came out, squeaky clean and in his sleeping clothes. He wondered if his mother would by him some pajamas for his birthday... there was a possibility since she always complained about it.

The genin sighed and and went back into his bedroom, not wanting to be finished with his training just yet. He opened his closest and stepped onto the stool located in a small corner. It helped him reach above his clothes where a shelve was located. He reached and pulled out a scroll, then went over to his bed and sat down on it with his legs crossed over. He opened the scroll and began to read the direction that is gave. Basically, he had to apply the right amount of chakra it said to give out correctly. If not, then he would get.. electrocuted? Well that didn't sound good at all. He sighed and went to the first level that was located right under the directions. The genin began to concentrate, trying to send the required amount into the scroll in front of him. However, he seemed to have added a bit too much, causing the scroll to electrocute him. The electricity made him looked as if he was spazzing, his hair also beginning to stand on end. When it stopped, smoke was coming from his head and a frown was planted upon his face. ... What a mean training scroll this was.

He tried again, actually getting the right amount this time and moved onto the next level that was left for him. This level required a significantly smaller amount than before, which seemed to be easy enough. He lowered the amount he was sending, which seemed to be the trick to the exercise. Fortunately, he got it right on the first try instead of getting electrocuted once more by the scroll. Whoever created these things must want to help people, yet see them suffer at the same exact time. What a cruel and wicked person that was. The boy moved onto the final level that was on the scroll, and noticed how much larger it was than the previous levels. He pumped in more chakra than he had, but didn't get to the required level. As a result, it shocked him again! He swore that he would destroy whoever made these things, cause that hurt like hell! He shook his head and closed the scroll, deciding that he could simply continue it tomorrow. The slipped it under his bed and stepped back onto the ground. He left his bedroom, went back into the bathroom and turned on the faucet.

The boy began to splash cold water onto his face until he noticed something a bit different once he touched the water another time. It... froze. Some of it literally froze onto his finger. "I-I," he stammered, "Got my ice element?" The boy quickly turned off the faucet and ran into his room, overwhelming with excitement. He couldn't wait to show off to his team!

An "Adventure"! .. Sorta. [Solo, NK] Empty The Second Post

Sora grinned at his little accomplishment. The boy was currently standing at the edge of the training grounds with an entire training course set up in front of him. Today he wasn't wearing his normal outfit, this time he had on black jeans and black shinobi sandals, a white T-shirt on his torso that had a blue colored collar, and finally an orange hoodie to finish. He ran his left hand through his dark blue haired, still grinning at his excellent work. It was a little course to test his skills. The boy didn't feel as if he was improving very much (even though he was) and decided to make this to help actually get better. "Well then," he commented, "Guess I better start." Sora immediately took several steps back and crouched down while spreading his knees far apart. The course was a moderately long one, not too difficult but not too easy either. It surprised him how he managed to get the supplies he needed even. The places where he got the items seemed to have everything. From gigantic hammers to canons. Freaking canons! Where the hell did they bother to get this crap and try to sell it to ninja?

The boy studied what was in front of him. Just because he created it didn't mean he knew the thing inside and out. After all, he took a nap once he finished so he would forget most of it. The nap seemed to do the trick since he was very impressed at how he managed to put these stuff together. Sora wasted no more time in charging forward, ready to ace this thing! He only got a few steps in before his foot lifted a line, which started up the small trap. Around two kunai flew at him, one from his left which would be the east, and another from his right which would be the west. He ducked under the weapons and went onto all fours, forcing them to clash into the other be sent into their opposite directions. However, it seemed that he knew himself too well and predicted that he would do that move. Another kunai came from the north, aimed right for his face. The boy almost panicked and pushed himself off the ground, literally. It was as if he used his hands and feet to go into a tiny jump off of the soft surface. Once if finally passed by (which seemed like forever) he landed back onto the ground with a small "thud".

He frowned and stood up, brushing himself off. There was still plenty left to do so he couldn't stop now! He smirked and dashed towards the course once more. This time there was a large wooden wall on his path. This was a bit annoying, he didn't have any jutsu to break this down."Hm.. wait maybe I can.." he mumbled. The boy clenched then unclenched his left fist. The eyes harden at the barrier in front of him. Sora pulled the fist back and held it for a moment, before striking the wall. As a result... it shattered. The wall literally smashed into pieces, with the genin being sent forward from putting so much force into his attack. He really didn't know his own strength did he? The young Yuki had managed to stumble after the strike, but caught himself from falling onto the ground. Both of Sora's eyes were wide during the entire event. He rubbed his left knuckle slowly and looked at what was left. There wasn't really much, but it was still enough to give him a good work out. Maybe he was actually getting better from all of this training?

Sora ran over to the next obstacle and frowned. There wasn't really anything there, simply an open space. However he couldn't be too careful, anything might happen. After all his genius mind could have created... flamethrowers to pop out of nowhere! No that definitely wouldn't happen. While he was smart he was that good with using his hands. The genin's thoughts were interrupted by the sound of... wood coming out of the ground? He wasn't exactly sure, he just heard something. The Yuki surveyed his surroundings and majorly frowned. They were simply practice dummies, each one around 6 meters away from him. Terrific. He could handle these things with ease! The boy dash towards the one in front of him and aimed a roundhouse kick for it's size. Of course, the attack hit it's mark, but something happened afterwards. Where he hit suddenly began to light up, almost as if... "Damn!" he exclaimed. He performed a single hand sign and disappeared in a cloud of smoke. The genin appeared 3 meters to the south, away from the dummy. He watched it explode, pieces of wood going everywhere.

"How the hell am I supposed to destroy these things when I can't even hit them?!" he exclaimed. Man, he was just too smart for his own good. He scratched the back of his head and began to think. He couldn't spam the substitution jutsu, that would make him run out of chakra. There had to be another way... The boy looked around the area and spotted a few pebbles on the ground, only 1 meter away from him. He had a whole handful of them, just enough for the 5 left over dummies that surrounded him. He grinned at the inanimate objects and began to throw the small rocks, one by one. However, he didn't just chuck them at a random spot. The genin threw them in the same place he saw the tag on the first one he exploded. That seemed to do the trick since they all exploded upon the contact. After they all were gone, he sighed and let the rocks fall to the ground. He was pretty sure there was only one or two things left in this course. Sora twirled around, facing north again, and decided to jog this time. Yet another wall popped up in front of him, made up of the same material as the last one.

The only different once there was a rope... did he have to climb it? 'Seems like I do.' he thought to himself. The boy sighed, grabbed the rope, and tugged on it. It seemed strong enough to support his weight so why not? He held onto the rope with one hand and eventually used his other hand to pull himself up, climbing using the rope. However, once he got high enough he put both of feet on the wall and used the rope to pull himself up, one hand at a time. This task seemed pretty easy no far, nothing bothered to interrupt him with climbing. Eventually he made it to the top, where he flipped over onto the other side. Though, when he was ready to simply slide down to the bottom (even though the rope would burn his hands...) he heard something creak. It wasn't like a door creak, it was more like a bed breaking creak. Even though that might sound like the same exact creak. The genin looked at the wall and saw it leaning... in his direction. Shit, he was going to be screwed over. The boy's eyes widened and he used both his feet to kick off the wall. Luckily, he pushed off far enough to be out of it's landing range. Yup, he was one lucky kid all right.

Just how long did he take to make this course again? Must have taken up most of his day. And wow, he must forget a lot of stuff after he takes a nap. Either that or he's trying to forget unconsciously. Sora ignored the ridiculous thought and focused back onto the fallen wall. He had already landed at least 4 meters away from where it hit the ground, it had created a small dust cloud when it did. The boy shook his head and looked at the rest of the course yet another time for that day. This thing was very long and troublesome... and it was getting a bit late. Should he simply continue to tomorrow or try to keep going? 'Well, I don't have to be home until midnight,' he thought, 'So maybe I can spare some more minutes.' He adjusted his orange hoodie and heavily sighed. He really hoped that this would be over very soon. Sure, he knew that this was helping him improve, but it was just so long and boring. He shrugged and kept on walking forward. After taking a few steps, the ground under the boy began to collapse. He had apparently stepped into a hole that was 10 meters in diameter. He was at the very edge and managed to trip inside of it.

At the last minute, Sora held onto said edge to keep himself from falling. ... Did someone add to this thing while he was sleeping? It was possible... there were people still around while he had been sleeping (which was about 3-4 hours). One of them must have tinkered with his course and added more.. dangerous obstacles to overcome. Oh well, more training for him! How awesome was that? While in his small thoughts, or more like accusations, his hand slipped. This caused the boy to hit the wall of the hole and tumble down to the bottom of said hole. Good thing the sides were on a slope instead of being something like a cliff. "Great.. now I'll need to wash this jacket," he mumbled while standing up. It was true, he was very dirty. He had dirt spots around some areas of his face along with some sweat. His jacket had a few grass stains here and there, but they really couldn't be strong enough to stay there permanently. He brushed off his black jeans and looked upwards towards the sky. The sun was still high in the sky, but looked as if it was long past noon. Sora yawned and looked around the place, trying to find a good area where he could climb out of the hole.

He finally found someplace near to where he fell. There were plenty of rocks sticking out of it, making it look sort of like a rock wall. Well, what a coincidence that was. The boy grabbed one of the rocks and began to climb up. Now, this hole was about 5 meters deep, so it would be a bit of a workout. The genin continued to grab whatever he could find that would help him get to the surface. There were even plant root sticking out, which he also used. For some reason, he felt bad when he did, but knew that it was for a good cause. The cause of helping him get out of this damn annoying hole! Some time passed before he managed to even touch the grass that was on the precious ground. He panted as he pulled himself up and onto the grass. The entire thing really took a good amount of energy out of him. Of course, he still had enough stamina to make it through something like this! Currently, he was hunched over with his hands on both of his knees. He wasn't even breathing heavily, just relaxing and staying in that random position. Sora stood up straight and turned around to look at the mess he had created.

Well... he was pretty sure that they could assign a mission from some genin to clean the place. But... he was also a genin.. which meant that they could just pick him to do it instead! "Oh no," he whispered. The boy looked around the place, but didn't see a soul in sight. Since he was most likely home free... he took the chance to run out of the grounds and in the direction of his house. He knew his mom was going to ask question about his appearance as well...

An "Adventure"! .. Sorta. [Solo, NK] Empty Re: An "Adventure"! .. Sorta. [Solo, NK]

Sun Mar 02, 2014 9:58 pm
Sora yawned as he sat up from his bed. Another day means another time to train! The sun's light bounced off his dark blue hair, making it seem lighter than it really was. The boy threw off his blanket and jumped off his bed, safely landing on his bed. The genin rubbed his eyes before walking over to where his calendar was located. He quickly skimmed it, eventually finding a big red circle and the words "Chuunin Exams TODAY!!!". Sora blinked, only to release another yawn and head back to his bed. However, it seemed at that moment did the boy come to his senses. He quickly rushed back over to his calendar and violently grabbed it. The action almost caused the poor thing to rip in half. He read the words over, once... twice... thrice... "WAAAAAAH! THE EXAMS ARE TOMORROW!!" he exclaimed at the top of his lungs, "AND I DIDN'T EVEN SIGN UP YET!! HELL, I DIDN'T EVEN TRAIN!!"

Sora swiftly threw the calendar onto his bed before rushing towards his closet, pulling out an outfit to wear. He managed to grab a dark blue sleeveless shirt with a pair of black, baggy shorts. He swiftly put his shirt on along with his shorts, also putting on a white belt he found on the ground, before rushing out his door. The boy practically tripped down the stairs in his rush! The genin eventually made it to his kitchen and forcefully opened his refrigerator. He pulled out a GoGurt tube and slammed the door shut, only to pick up a banana from the kitchen table afterwards. Sora slipped his feet into his shinobi sandals and ran out his front door, not even bothering to close it. His Mother could do that anyway, so it was no problem! It didn't take long for him to shove his "meal" into his mouth once he hit the streets. The boy had quickly peeled his banana and downed it in a matter of seconds. He then ripped the top of his GoGurt, wasting no time in downing that as well.

Sora continued running, his destination being the training grounds. He could feel the wind hit his face, causing his cheeks to sting. He didn't mind it though, in fact the boy enjoyed the feeling. He suddenly stopped running for a minute, but settled on jogging in place. Cerulean orbs inspected the area, looking for a small building to run on. Eventually Sora spotted a well sized building and grinned. He ran towards it at full speed, immediately transferring chakra to the soles of his feet. It caused him the easily run up the wall of the building. The thought was strange, but whenever the boy used this technique, it felt like he was applying glue to his feet. (Oh, would you look at that. I just rhymed!) Technically that was what he was doing... anyway. As Sora continued heading up the wall, he could see the ground becoming farther and father away.

That just meant he was getting closer to the rooftop! A few seconds had passed and it seemed that he was right, he did reach the top! The boy leaped towards the ledge, grabbing it with his right hand. He then used his feet to push off the wall, helping him perform a handstand on the ledge. The genin decided to waste no more time and quickly pushed off the legde to perform a flip afterwards. He managed to "safely" land on the surface of the roof, almost stumbling and falling onto his ass. He did keep his balance though. Sora quickly straightened his back and looked over the village. The boy could sense all the civilians and fellow shinobi around him. From large bodies of chakra to small ones, it didn't quite matter. He gave a deep sigh as the wind decided to appear once more. It slightly ruffled his clothes along with making his hair sway.

"Time to start training..." he mumbled. Sora ran towards the edge of the roof, only to leap off of it and head towards another. That's right, he was going to do this in style! Something only real shinobi would dare to do.... Leaping off of rooftops was definitely the way to go! Once the boy reached his next building top, he rolled upon landing. Yes, another awesome thing that only real shinobi would do. Rather than land on your feet, roll! Rolling is the new way for landing! It was either that or punching the ground to create a giant crater. Yeah... he should totally do that once he reached the training grounds. He quickly stood back up performed the same actions he did before, heading towards another rooftop. A few minutes along with many rooftop jumps had passed until Sora was finally able to spot the training grounds up ahead. "Ah! I finally see it!" he spoke, "Time to make an awesome entrance. The people there wouldn't even know what happened..."

The genin smirked and increased the speed he was moving at. At the final building, he made sure to jump as high as he could, which was indeed a great height. Since the building was already 25 meters off the ground, he simply jumped an extra 10 meters. The height he was at caused a strange feeling to erupt in his stomach. Sora ignored it though, more focused on his landing. The effects of gravity were occurring, forcing the boy to grow closer to the ground at an alarming rate. But this is exactly what he wanted to happen! He formed his right hand into a fist, already aiming it for the ground below. In a matter of seconds, Sora's fist managed to hit the ground. People around the area were startled and immediately looked in his direction. However, the genin was not happy. Not happy at all. Sure, he was able to hit the ground with his fist, but all that accomplished was... a small crater with a diameter of 3 meters...

"W-Wha... ?" Sora drifted off as he sweat dropped. It was so small... and his fist started to really sting! The boy immediately pulled back his hand and blew on it, trying to ease the pain. His knuckled were red from his.. failed attempt. He growled and narrowed his eyes at the crater he created. The other individuals at the training grounds were still shocked from his entrance, but also amazed at the damage he inflicted to the ground. ".. It's not good enough!" He said with a deep frown on his face. He raised his hand and turned it into a fist once more. Using much more force that previously, Sora struck the ground with the full intention of shattering it. Though it seemed like today just wasn't his day. All that accomplished was another meter in the diameter. That was still not enough to satisfy him! He needed to try even harder!

The boy scowled at the ground, his eyes gaining an unusual glint. He raised his fist once more, pouring every ounce of strength he had into it, and striking the ground in one last try. This time was majorly better than the rest of his attempts. This time he managed to give his crater another 3 meters! Sweat began to roll down from Sora's brow, heading all the way to his chin. The boy began to grin at his accomplishment, lifting up his head to see the reactions of those around him. Most of them had wide eyes while other continued to mind their own business. Sora got onto both his feet, a smirk now in his face.

"That's right... I.. Am... BATMAN!!" *Cue the stares from all over*

An "Adventure"! .. Sorta. [Solo, NK] Empty Re: An "Adventure"! .. Sorta. [Solo, NK]

Mon Mar 03, 2014 4:24 pm
The sun beat down onto Sora's forehead as he sat on one of the many benches in the village. He took a giant lick from the ice cream cone in his hand. The treat had already begun to melt, encouraging the boy to finish it quickly. Such a shame... it was his favorite flavor too! He quickly downed the delicious snack and hopped to his feet. A sigh erupted from light pink lips as hands lazily placed behind a dark blue head. He was surprisingly calm today. That was indeed strange since the Chuunin Exams were starting later on. Just what could he do to get in some extra training? "Well... I could try to master a few of my jutsu..." He mumbled. A grin slowly started to form on his face. The boy's pearly whites eventually showing, the light from the sun making them sparkle. He even knew which ones he would be able to practice! They could definitely give him an advantage in any battle.

Sora shoved his hands into his pockets and made his way towards the training grounds. He had on a pair of black, baggy shorts with black sneakers. For the torso was a plain white T-Shirt that had a red hoodie placed over it. There was a white belt used to hold up his shorts, though it was just there as something extra. The hood bumped as he walked, due to the small jump in his step. His ninjato could be seen sitting on his back, ready to be pulled at a moments notice. It's handle was by his right shoulder, while the edge was to his left. The boy grinned as he sped up a bit. He felt that today was going to be a good day... a very good day indeed. He whistled as he soon approached a railing. The boy performed a small frog jump and landed on top of it, still whistling as he balanced. There was a waterway underneath, so if one were to fall... well they would need a change of clothes. He was practically hopping as he made his way across the yellow colored railing.

Sora twirled and continued to balance on the rail as he began to hum a small tune. "In my heart you'll find the truth," he sang smoothly, "All I want is to be close to you. Close to yo-ou-ou!" The boy quickly made it to the edge of the yellow railing and leaped off. "All this time you wanted more. Can't you see I'm what you're looking for?" He made his way back into the streets, still maintaining the slight jump in his step. He felt quite feminine as he did so... my god, he wasn't gay was he? "Looking fo-or-or!"Of course he wasn't! Bi-sexual? Possibly, but he was certainly not full on gay. "I, I won't give up on you! I, I need you to trust in me! I gave you love, all that I had..." Sora swiftly rushed through the many people that crossed his path. He could hear a ruckus in the direction of where the gates were located, but paid no mind. Right now he had to focus on getting to the training grounds.

"Please don't forget me. I am..." He leaped over a man who was currently bent down, obviously trying to fix the cart he was hammering at. "Yours Forever!" Sora finally exclaimed. He grinned as he continued to hop through Kumogakure, his destination growing closer and closer. The boy's hoodie continued to bounce as he moved, his hair soon joining in the act. The genin grinned once the gates to the training grounds appeared in his sights. He quickly raced towards it, grabbing the metal that made it up. Expertly, Sora climbed up the gate before leaping over it. He safely landed onto the ground, the dust forming a small cloud at his feet in no time. He placed a hand over his eyes, the free once being placed on a hip. Cerulean orbs could be seen being squinted, the owner attempting to see who else was in the area. It was then that the boy noticed a few kids roughhousing.

Just what were they doing, fooling around like that out here? This was for training and training only! Things like wrestling or giving wedgies shall not be tol - Oh, who was he kidding? Sora trotted over the group of a boys, a small smirk placed on his face. Once he arrived behind them, he opened his mouth to speak. "Hey. What's up guys?" he asked. All three of them looked over to the genin, and could obviously tell he was younger than them. What did they think next? Oh, they simply thought it would be a good idea to bully the boy. Man, what a mistake that would be. "What's up dweeb?" the smallest one, who strangely looked like the leader, replied. The other two simply went on either side of the kid. Sora rose an eyebrow and took a moment to inspect the people in front of him. The small one was snow white hair and black eyes, while the other two seemed to be... twins? They both had green hair and dark green eyes... so they just had to be! The twins had snickered at him once the small one had called him a dweeb. What was so funny about it?

"Heh, I couldn't help but notice you guys here. So I was wondering... would you like to train with me?" Sora asked with a bright smile. The atmosphere turned silent for a moment, the individuals before him digesting his request. Then... they burst out laughing! 'What the hell are they laughing for?' Sora thought, a frown soon replacing the smile on his face. The one with white hair took a few steps forward before looking him straight in the eye. "Look here twerp, you don't have what it takes to train with us. We would probably crush you," he ended his sentence with an attempted flick for Sora's forehead. However, the young shinobi wasn't going to let that happen. He quickly grabbed the guy's hand before lifting him up, having enough strength to do so. Not even a moment afterwards did he flip the older child over, sending the guy into the ground behind him with much force. "Shiro!" "Shi-senpai!" the twins had yelled. Sora smirked down at his "opponent", the kid's eyes wide open.

The genin slightly leaned back once "Shiro" had jumped to his feet. Shiro gave a death glare at Sora, soon clenching his fist and shaking it at the boy. "That's it! You wanna face me? Then let's go!" He pointed to the other side of the training grounds, "If you can get there before I can, you win. If you don't... well, we get pay back on what you just did to me." Shiro evilly smirked as the twins began to snicker. The Yuki could hear whispers of "No way is he going to win" and "Shiro is the fastest around, that guy will lose". However, he was determined to prove them wrong. "I accept your challenge," He spoke confidently. Shiro's smirk simply grew wider as the kid soon made his way to stand by Sora's right. Both settled into running stances, ready to leave the other in the dust. They didn't even need a timer as they seemed to know when the other would take off. Shiro was the one to make the first move. He was definitely fast, the genin would give him that, but he was nowhere near his speed.

Just Shiro reached the halfway mark, Sora took off. "GO!" The boy left dust in his wake as he rushed forward, not even the twins being able to keep track of his awesome speed! He manage to rush past Shiro and immediately close in on his destination. Milliseconds soon turned into multiple seconds as the genin reached the "finish line". His opponent was still behind, eyes wide open, mouth dropped, and frozen in place. Yup, such a pleasant sight to see. The boy came skidding to a stop, dust still coming from behind him. He then took a moment to gloat, something one must always do after winning! "That's right, I won! I beat you, uh-huh. That's right! Who's the best? I'm the best, after all I did win! That's right!" A victorious grin was on the boy's face as he continued to speak about his victory. However, he paused to take a look at the position his opponent was currently in. The guy was... on his knees.. with a black cloud over his head. Man, he looked really pathetic like this...

Sora frowned before making his way over to Shiro, his frown slowly growing into a smile with each step. Once he managed to get in front of Shiro, he held out his right hand. The sun bounced off his cerulean eyes and he grinned at the kid on the ground. "Come on, don't look so down! Just beat me the next time we meet!" he spoke. Shiro had actually looked up from the ground once Sora had started speaking. A baffled expression formed on his face at the words aimed towards him. Just beat him again? Yeah... that sounded "simple" enough. He had frowned, but grudgingly took the Yuki's hand into his own, slowly getting onto his feet. Once he was Shiro back on his feet, Sora's eyes sparkled. He quickly let go of the older's boy hand, of course shocking the trio as it was sudden, and made his way to a secluded part of the training grounds. The area he was heading to war definitely a good distance away from the rest of the people at the training grounds. He could barely see Shiro and his gang!

Sora eventually stopped in the middle of a clearing, surrounded by moderate sized trees. There was a small pond near by, something that would most likely help the genin today. This would be perfect spot to practice all of his jutsu. The boy quickly performed multiple hand signs before he mumbled to name of his technique, "Hidden Mist Jutsu." Due to being only a meter or two away from the pond, he was able to use the water from it. Anywhere that was 25 meters around him was quickly concealed by the fog. It made absolutely nothing in the area visible. "Okay, that's over. Time for the next jutsu," Sora said out lout. He performed yet another pair of hand signs, this time utilizing the water that was now in the air. A large water shark erupted from his hand, aiming to destroy anything that dared to get in it's path. Unfortunately, the many trees that used to be in the area were now destroyed.. or at least getting some of it's branches snapped off.

Sora took multiple deep breaths. The use of that B-Rank really took a good amount of chakra out of him, which just proved he needed to increase of chakra pool. The boy quickly changed to density of the mist, making it only semi-transparent. That was more than enough to see clearly. The boy sighed before shoving his hands into his pockets and making his way back to the middle of the training grounds. That wasn't really training his technique.. more like testing it out and see what he could improve on. The young shinobi stopped walking once he made it beside a large tree. He took a seat at the base, soon crossing his legs in a way that monks would. Sora shut his eyes before taking in multiple breaths, releasing air each time he did so. What was he doing you might ask? Well, he was simply going to meditate. That's right, this kid could actually meditate. He had never attempted it before, but he couldn't be too hard... right?

The boy decided to concentrate on his chakra, to try and see what he could do with it. First, he made the chakra travel to his ears, which slightly enhanced his hearing. The action helped him hear the chatter of the villagers mixed with the sounds of nature. It was quite peaceful, which made it easy to do actions such as "meditating". The wind decided to show up out of the blue and accompany the boy. It ruffled his hair along with shaking his clothes slightly. Did the wind adore him or something? Wherever he went it decided to pop up and blow him away. Not literally, but it might as well have. Sora gave a deep sigh as he cut off the flow of chakra to his ears. Instead, he decided to transfer it to his nose. This seemed to make his sense of smell increase as well. This was quite new to him... He might just use a technique like this in combat. It would be very useful.

The genin finally stopped transferring chakra to his nose after a while. All the fumes in the air were... A bit much for him. Especially the smell of when someone had... Passed gas. "Now that was just disgusting," he grumbled with a frown. The boy quickly decided to simply sense out the people in the area. He only took a moment to focus, immediately sensing multiple individuals. However, it seemed Shiro and his gang did not stick around. For if they did, Sora would have sensed them... Oh well. He could always see them another day! The young shinobi smiled before rising to his feet. It time to get a small stretching session in before leaving! He quickly eyed the tree he was previously leaning against, a hand now on the handle of his Ninjato. Sora had something similar to a stare-off with the tree. In a matter of seconds, he unsheathed his weapon at a speed higher than most would be able to track. He aimed a slash for the trees side, intending to create a deep gash. He seemed to do more than just that though... For he almost cut cleanly through the thing. Sora blanched at what he had just done before frantically looking around the area.

Almost everyone in the area was staring at him yet again, most with their eyes wide open. The genin gave a nervous chuckle before pulling out his ninjato. This just seemed to make things worst as the tree almost toppled over once he done so... Sora quickly sheathed his weapon before rushing out the training grounds. It didn't takeout for him to arrive at the gates, at which he performed the same thing he had done before. Up and over. Sora soon landed on the opposite side of said gates, racing back to his home. He expertly maneuvered through the crowds along the way. Though.. He might have knocked down some paint buckets in his rush. Someone would have to clean that mess up, but it wouldn't be him. No way could anyone force him to do that! Or.. at least he hoped... but was still positive it wouldn't happen!
