"To my master's place." She would reply, not too extensively. After that, if no new questions were given she would continue to the spot. In a minute, walking past a corner she would now see the house. It certainly was not your regular Tengakure house, firstly because it was not a skyscraper. The house had two floors, although the girl did not know if it had a basement and if it did, how deep did it go. The most unusual thing about it was the style, it was built in a traditional japanese design, something you don't see often in this village. Stepping into the territory of the house, Youta would start walking around it, as there was probably no point in going inside. The house looked dark and lifeless and it was sad. But behind it, where she was going, was a small garden with a pond. That is where Yozora would train her when she was here. Not that much time had passed since her master's death, so although Yozora did not really care for her garden, it had not really changed much since the girl last saw it. Turning to the boy, Youta would explain her choice for this place "This is where Yozora would train me... also it is fairly quiet so I like it, more than the training towers at least. If you don't, we can go some place of your choice." Unless he objected, Youta would throw the bag on a terrace by the building and grasp the weapon more firmly. She did have a question about this though. "I was wondering... from what I understand, you do not normally fight with a blade, right?"

Haru noticed the rather out of place design of Yozora’s house… and that it was ****ing huge. Not Skyscraper huge, but for one person, that was a huge house. He silently followed her to the garden, where Youta turned and spoke to him. She told him that this was where Yozora used to train her, and that she preferred the quiet.
”No, here is fine. I don’t mind it.” He told her. He could understand that. He couldn’t help grinning a little at her last question.
”Well… Not a blade, no. Your own body can be much more effective then any sword when used properly.“ He told her. ”Alright, let me see how you fight, and we’ll work from there.” He said, taking up a fighting stance.

The answer was reasonable, although Youta was not into having a revolutionary change of her fighting style over this. No, her swordsmanship was Yozora's legacy as were the techniques described in her master's book. Haru's stance was interesting and adding onto his response made it quite obvious that he would go with hand to hand. Looking at the ninjato in her right hand Youta noted that it did not really give her much range superiority, which would be the case with a katana or some other longer blade. Trying to imagine how would her master respond to this, she almost immediately noticed the lack of second blade. Well, this will have to make do.
Unsheathing the ninjato she would take up her stance, over sixty percent of her weight on her right leg, with her left one in front, the blade held in her right hand, by her side, elbow half-bent. Ninjato's point would be directed at Haru and her left hand would be over the blade. She spent a few moments of silence to decide how she should play this. There were a few tricks she could use, but was it worth it, her goal was to train, not to win a fight. Eventually she decided to start simple and then, who knows. Lunging forward she would quickly close the small gap between them. The left hand originally over the blade would now go up, the wrist rotating to make the palm face Haru in an attempt to obscure his vision, while the ninjato would thrust forward in an attempt to pierce his side.

As Youta’s attack began, Haru noted that she was trying to obscure his vision with her hand. The moment she put up that hand, he activated both of his eyes, though he wouldn’t be using the speed they granted. Rather, he was using the Byakugan to see through her hand, and the sharingan to, well, that was mostly because he was used to turning on both of his eyes at once. He would mimic her own speed and strength from what he’d seen of her so that he didn’t end up hurting her, and to keep the fight fair. He’d been the underdog enough times to know it sucked.
As she lunged at him, he would begin a rotation, spinning wildly and releasing chakra from his tenketsu, which would deflect the blade away. From there, he would reassume his stance, left foot forward, right foot back and facing right, hands outstretched at chest height. He would dash to their left suddenly, creating an afterimage of himself which would continue running as the real Haru stopped and ran the other direction, reappearing on her left side. He would bring his right leg around, aiming a strike at her back

Not sure how but without even moving Haru saw through her blind, but he did and using some crazy spin move, he deflected the blade sending it and her body following to her right. She knew one thing though, he did not deflect it himself, not physically. Meaning, he used chakra in some way to do that for him. Based on that, Youta followed him into the people with active doujutsu club and her eyes lit up blue. Her body now out of balance, falling right. Before the girl was forced to take action to prevent the fall, she managed to catch a last glimpse of the chakra surrounding the boy dissipating and him retaking a stance, although he did not seem to be facing her anymore.
In one motion putting her left hand on her right wrist and sending her left leg forward to regain balance, the girl would be briefly facing the other way, Haru at her back. Not given time to consider how he saw through her attack, she still counted on him not being able to see through her body, meaning not being to see the blade in front of her as she was facing the other way. Infusing the blade with chakra she would briefly shift her weight on her left while pushing her right foot back a bit. At that moment Haru would lunge to her previous left, which was now her right, exactly the same right she was going to turn to. Reshifting her weight again, Youta's torso would rotate, the left hand throwing the right, which in turn carried the blade. The result would be an almost horizontal slash to her right, previously left. However, the magic of it was the infused chakra, which would now break away from her blade in form of a wind blade, the blast would be long enough to cover 180 degree's of her right, including where the image would go as well as Haru's original position, although it would catch him before he would appear at a different position. Good thing it would not damage anything in the garden.
[You failed with the sides a bit, saying you imaged to my left and then appeared at my left (I would assume you meant right), but it doesn't matter as this should interrupt it before you reappear anywhere.]

Haru raised an eyebrow at her strange positioning, before her attack was executed, which he found quit interesting. Some sort of chakra slash technique. Even though she didn’t see the real Haru yet, it seemed she would hit him by sheer luck in his current path of motion. He would quickly jump into the air and begin a backflip, twisting as he did so, so that his feet would be facing the opposite direction when he landed. Upon avoiding the slash, he would land, turning to face her, his hands glowing a faint blue. He’d decided he hadn’t used the gentle fist in a while, and it wasn’t good to forget such a versatile skill. Haru would now be behind her, and to the left. His byakugan targeted her tenkutsu, and he moved in for the kill… figuratively speaking, of course.
He would target a quick four strikes, not wanting to completely paralyze her if she failed to dodge, as that would take the fun out of the fight rather quickly. One strike from each hand at the back of each corresponding shoulder (Left to left, right to right) and a second set of jabs aimed at her spine, in each sequence, the strikes hitting at the same time.
(Jutsu used is Eight Trigrams: Sixty Four Palms, Speed Boost is doubled with powered up jutsu)

The image cut would blur out immediately, but at the same time Youta would notice Haru's chakra elsewhere. Seemed she was tricked, even if to a degree. The boy was making a fancy acrobatic move to avoid her attack and reposition himself. With her eyes locked on him, the girl would step with her left leg forward and start changing directions to stay facing the Hyuuga. During the motion, her left hand would pass by her shoulder, while the right hand holding the ninjato would be drawn to her side, the left one then taking position over the blade - simply put, she would assume the same stance again.
Once Haru landed, Youta would notice the glow of chakra at his hands, also the sudden increase in speed. It was not enough to overwhelm her, but certainly enough to close the gap between them in no time. What the boy probably did not account for was that she would be now facing him, instead of having her back exposed to an attack. And since she was the one holding a weapon, rather than the one attacking with his palms, her reach was greater, even if slightly. So, she was going to do a very simply motion, using her reach and his inertia to her advantage. Infusing the chakra into the blade again, the girl would step with her left leg back, while thrusting her blade hand forward. On the boy's current path, the blade would pierce Haru's torso before his hands reached Youta. To make it even more likely to hit, the infusion would bloom into a chakra blade technique, giving a few more centimeters of reach. During this, her left hand would swirl around in a fancy move and end up clenched in a fist by her left, in case this progressed to the point where she would have to use it.

Jesus, did this girl always go for kill moves? Haru felt getting impaled once was more then enough for his liking. As she spun along with him, keeping an eye on him, he saw her prepare the strike. As he closed in the distance, she would turn with him, bringing her blade forward, towards his chest. Uh, no. Not happening. His left hand would rise up, beginning to move towards the blade, where it would be quickly slapped aside, with Haru’s left, armored hand hitting the flat side of the blade. If this were successful, the blade would be knocked aside. Hmm. Well, if she was playing like that, Haru would do the same, hoping she’d be smart enough to dodge this. As his left hand swatted her blade aside, his right would flick upwards slightly as he drove it forward, towards her shoulder. As this motion occurred, a blade would sprout from his wrist with a satisfying click. He hadn’t used this particular weapon in quite a long time, lost his knack for tinkering and building weapons… How unfortunate. He’d have to get back into that later. But now wasn’t the time for a flashback to nostalgic times. He was fighting, after all. At this distance, his strike had a fairly high chance of connecting, unless her other hand could make it to his in time. If he was unhindered, the hidden blade would pierce her shoulder, hopefully not doing any permanent damage.

She was not surprised, although a bit annoyed about the position this put her into. So Haru deflected her blade with his armored hand to prevent being stabbed, so her hand with the blade would now be pushed to her left, or the boy's right, as he progressed towards her. Seeing the dagger like sting appear from his wrist, Youta saw no other way out than to bring in the fist from her last motion. As her blade continued left, and down, her left hand would unfold as chakra poured into it and it rose towards her right shoulder, where the hidden blade was aimed to strike. The chakra in her hand would form into a multitude of small wind blades coming from her fingers, like chakra nails-kind of things. With these she would strike the sting before it reached her shoulder, pushing it aside just barely (assuming Haru does not press the attack with all his strength), at the same time she would make a short step left, making it even easier to avoid it. Unfortunately, she did not train her chakra nearly enough for those chakra nails to be as sharp as they could have been, so they could not break the dagger, however, seeing as they stuck the flat side, they would not break from its sharpness either.
So, now her arms were crossed, her right one, holding the weapon, at her left, waist level; while her left one was at her right shoulder. And she was standing to Haru's right. An impulse told her to rotate to her right and let her body push the ninjato into Haru's back. It was a fine move and a nice way to get away from these uncomfortable ultra-close quarters. The only part she did not like about the motion was that it could get messy if Haru does not prevent it, which seemed unlikely. So, as her right leg made a step back and her body started rotating, she would flick the ninjato, so it was not the blade that was going to ram into Haru's back, but the flat side. Continuing the motion, she would add force to Haru's inertia of his attack in order to propel him away from herself, using the blade like a lever. Then, after taking a couple steps back to increase the distance between them to three meters, she would retake her stance, this time different though. The ninjato would be held behind her, more than a half of heir weight on the left leg which was now the front one, and her left hand before her, displaying the wind blades for a moment before the chakra receded, the blades fading from both the ninjato and her hand.

After the well executed spin, the girl would hear a thump. It seems the move sent Haru forward, face down into the soil. A small smirk appeared on the girls lips, maybe she was not as bad as she thought she was. Sighing slightly she would straighten up, attacking from the back was disgraceful and dishonorable. They were ninja, but she still had her rules she would follow, unless faced with ultimates, such as death. But this being a simple spar, there was no reason to disrespect her foe or herself this way. So instead, she lowered the blade and relaxed if but for a moment. Haru would no doubt find himself on his feet once again and the fight could continue. When that happened, Youta would raise the blade in front of her, putting her left hand on her right wrist. She was playing this defensive so far, as the boy proved fairly good at offense, even bare handed. Maybe, if she was allowed, the young pupil would take the chance to attack.
