Formalities (P, Nk, IO)
Sun Feb 16, 2014 1:12 pm
Rakka would lead the two men to the village leader’s office, locking the door behind them as they entered. She didn’t want someone barging in on this, not with this corpse in the middle of the room like this.
”Well. I think introductions are in order, first off.” She would say, clearing space on the desk, and laying the corpse down on the table, closing his the man’s eyes. ”I’m Rakka Yuki, and I guess I’m Leader of the village now. She would say to Kaede. Sh assumed Shinji would introduce himself, and give the man the impression that attacking them here was a bad idea, just in case he was having second thoughts. She would look around the office. Before when she had the run of the place, she didn’t feel like she belonged there. She still didn’t. It felt strange. ”Now, I need to know your name, rank, and village so your superiors can know about this incident.” She told him. She figured this wouldn’t be the best way to start off her time as leader, sending out cases of murder and such to other villages.

Kaede followed after Rakka. He took the time to take in the sights of the village. While he was walking, he had also taken the time to rub right upper arm, at which time a single seal was placed onto the skin of his arm. Said seal was a recent creation of Kaede's something he had yet to actually test fully in a combat situation, still it was nice to know he did have it available if things went tits up. All he could really comment on was the fact that it was still cold. He arrived in the office after Rakka. He listened to the introduction Rakka gave, and would wait a moment to see if the other man would introduce himself also. After a moment Rakka spoke again, asking him who he was. The man had to restrain himself from smiling at the mention of his superiors. He paused for a moment, debating on if he should simply lie about who he was. If he revealed himself as the leader of Shimagakure, it might sort of ruin the relations between this village and his own. A few seconds past as the man thought of the pros and cons of lying. After awhile he decided that there was no actual point in lying to these people. "I am Kaede Uzumaki, from the village of Shimagakure. As for my rank, well I lead the village." He paused and waited for whatever the reactions would be from this information. Perhaps he could use this chance to get an alliance between the two villages. He had already shown his power and superior intellect after all, even if it was due to a misunderstanding.

Following the two other shinobi, Shinji arrived at the office at roughly the same time they did themselves. The kage still had his typhoon tango active as he entered the office. This was not because he was worried about combat, but more so he had forgotten about it. It was odd, the jutsu itself seemed to be becoming like second nature to him-it had evolved quite a bit from tis most basic form. Listening to both shinobi, Shinji learned that he was in the presence of two village leader, a coincidence? Perhaps, though the Tenkage was not one to believe too much in coincidences. However, after Kaede introduced himself, Shinji spoke in a rather lazy voice, "Well, my name is Shinji Uzumaki, the second Tenkage of Tengakure." The former kage then fell quiet. Sure, he still had power as a Tenkage, but he preferred not to use it too much. What was most interesting to the Uzumaki was, in fact, the other Uzumaki, it had been a while since he had met another Uzumaki. Perhaps he would have a talk with the man at a later time. For now Shinji simply waited for Rakka to continue, it was her office after all and thus her meeting to lead.

Daemon had grabbed onto the coat tails of shinji when he went to leave knowing he would be unable to get there fast enough otherwise and as such entered in a rather comical manner, almost like paper flapping in the wind as Shinji came to a stop. Rakka introduced her self as did Kaede who seemed to run the village of Shimagakure then there was shinji. Daemon spoke up letting others know that he was indeed there "I am Daemon Yuki Genin of Tengakure." And with that he fell silent until called upon again. He would watch the room for any sign of attack his temper had calmed down from a mood to kill to one of just slightly pissed he let the chakra that he had built up in him subside, but not dissipate, as he watched the one who just killed the former Leader of Yukigakure.

Rakka raised an eyebrow at Kaede’s statement. Partly because he was an uzumaki, and therefore related to Shinji, but mostly because he was the leader of Shimagakure.
”Well. This… complicates things.” She muttered. It wouldn’t be a good idea to put the leader of another village to death, that might spur a war, one Rakka wasn’t very sure they could win. She started to pace as Shinji and Daemon introduced themselves, which wasn’t exactly mind blowing to her, since she had already heard these introductions. ”Well, I guess you don’t really have any superiors to report to, then…” She muttered again. This made things complicated. As far as she knew, they were neutral towards Shimagakure, so perhaps a gesture of forgiveness would spur an alliance, which would be greatly beneficial to the village.
”Alright.” She began, choosing her words carefully. ”I’ll believe your story that this was accidental, and you’ll be allowed to leave the village to return home. However, in exchange, I would like to form an alliance with your village. Does that sound fair?” She would ask, before glancing over at Shinji. ”And I think now would be a good time to write up ours, as well.” She added, finding a spare peace of paper, and writing out her part of the treaty, stating that she would send her ninja to their aid in times of war, allow their ninja to visit the village, allow trade between villages, not engage in hostilities (duh) and encourage collaboration. She would sign her name at the bottom of each paper, and hand each to one of the men, as well as a pen. ”Just state that you will do the same as what I stated She explained simply.

Kaede couldn't help but smile in amusement when Rakka mentioned about him not having superiors. He also felt relieved when Rakka seemed to accept his story. Though the fact that she wanted now of all times to settle an alliance between the two villages surprised him. Still, it would be a shame to waste an opportunity like this. Another surprise was Shinji. The man being both an Uzumaki and also the leader of the Tengakure village, one of the five major villages. Kaede wondered the strength of the man that stood before him, though he let such thoughts vanish from his mind as he signed his name on the sheet of paper Rakka had offered him. Of course he briefly read through the paper being doing such a thing. The standard stuff it seemed. If Kaede had been in the right mindset at the time he would of likely tried to get the alliance more tipped in his favour. After signing he spoke to Shinji, "Hm. I recall sending a letter to your village awhile back requesting a meeting. Perhaps you being here is the reason why I never got a response." Yes good job Kaede, make a remark about how rude the man and his village are. He then turned his attention back to Rakka. "If you don't mind, I think I'd like to stay here for awhile. You see I'm looking for someone, which is why I'm here in the first place." He paused before continuing, "I will understand of course if you forbid it due to the recent...event."

Shinji simply signed the paper that Rakka handed him. Naturally he would have to inform Denkiteki at a later time, but right now he was unable to do such a thing. Then Shinji heard Kaede say something about a letter, Shinji had never seen said letter. However, the kage simply replied in a nonchalant tone, "Perhaps it got lost in the mail?" The Uzumaki then turned to Rakka and informed her of his plans, "Rakka, it has been a pleasure staying here, but alas I believe I must be on my way back to Tengakure as I must return this treaty to headquarters, formalities and all that." With that the kage fell silent and waited for the other two to finish up their business whatever that may be. Hopefully the two leaders would not try to kill each other or anything like that.

(Lazy post, just like every other one, I guess.)
Rakka watched the two men sign the treaty, nodding slowly at Keade’s request to stay there for a time. She’d have to keep an eye on him. She was a little surprised at Shinji’s leaving, as she hadn’t considered the need for it to be returned to Tenga, and he sort of just got there, but that troubled her very little. She nodded.
”Well, have a safe journey, Shinji.” She would say to him. ”And Kaede, if you need any help locating this person, let me know.” She would offer.

All of it went over smoothly. Shinji hand waved the letter not being replied to by it being lost in the mail. Kaede of course was sceptical, though he did not show it through words or expressions. Whatever the reason was, it didn't matter to him all that much. If need be he'd just visit Tengakure to secure the alliance personally. Kaede thanked Rakka for allowing him to stay before turning to leave, it seemed negotiations were over with. "Thank you for the offer Rakka." He said with a smile as he heard her offer. With that he turned and left, unless he was prevented from leaving by anything or anyone of course.

It would seem as if everything was done here, well, at least on Shinji's end. He had things to do and people to not see, namely Rakka and Kaede. Plus he had to get going back to Tengakure. Thus, as he left he told Daemon of his plan, "Daemon, I need to go ahead to Tengakure to bring word to Denkiteki as soon as possible about the recent..." Shinji paused for a second and was unsure what word to use. Finally thinking of it he continued, "...developments. Please, come find me once you arrive back in Tengakure. We will talk then. Safe travels." With that the kage turned and left the room with his speed being buffed by his still active typhoon tango. He had somewhere to be and matters to discuss. It was unfortunate that his slight vacation had been cut short, but all good things had to come to an end.
