Youka had sent memo's to both of his partners as per usual when he had been found and given a mission by the weird guy on the borders. He was starting to honestly believe this guy wasn't a real human, but more like a robot. There was just simply no way he could always be here waiting to pass on shady missions to people. He digressed though, it didn't really matter and the man always had the money to pay them on a job well done. Youka was waiting as usual on Iwa's borders for Maku and Kira to show up so he could feel them in and get started on the task for today.

While waiting he started going over different fuuinjutsu seals in his head and formulating different ways that they would work. Right now he had a idea on a defense boosting seal that would work to funnel earth chakra without him needing to think about it to his skin. There were so many good uses that seals had and he intended to find them all. He would remember that he forgot to actually bring the necklaces he had made for the team to be able to communicate with each other, oh well he would remember next time, they were always together anyway so other times would always present themselves.

Kira bounded up as usual, prancing almost in a skip the the meeting point where she knew she would find youka. When she was with her team for the most part her worries were eliminated. With them she felt safe and trusted, even if youka had a habit every now and again of doing some questionable things. It was also nice that for the most part she had been able to handle their missions with out murder, at least outside of those horrible people that deserved to die.

"Youka!!!!!!!" She spoke his name loudly and excitedly as she stopped beside him , taking a moment to pull the hair tie holding her long black tresses in place to readjust and retie it.

Maku was resting in a tree when he got Youka's memo.  He was scrubbing at his hands, trying to get the dried blood off of them.  He hadn't seen Youka in a couple days, and he had been developing a new set of skills.  One was the creation of blades from nothing but the space around him.  Unfortunatly for some bandit, he had gotten the chance to practice with one of his blades.  It had started by him just cutting the man to see if it would work.  And then he systematically had dismemebered the man before killing him from 5 meters away by playing with the blade like a Yo-Yo.  Hahaha, that was a good name for it the Spatial Rending Yo-Yo, he'd have to show it off on this mission.  Getting up, he focused to find his friends.  Luckily Kira had begun to develop as a ninja, and he chakra signature was familiar to him, and he watched as she exited his field of vision.  He had a decent guess as to where it was, so signing tiger, he moved at a speed of 350, appearing Near his friends.  Just for fun, He appeared right behind Kira, before moving at his regular speed of (180), to duck underneath Kira and lift her up, so she would be sitting on his shoulders, as long as she didn't do anything to stop him.  He had taken to carrying her anyway, but he knew soon, she would need that luxury.

Feeling everyone's presence he knew that they were converging on his location and would be here within a few moments. Standing up he would turn to them both and greet them with a simple bow before telling them what was happening. "I'm glad to see you both are doing well, and it seems you're both starting to feel more comfortable around each other which is also good" he would say noting the closeness that was being portrayed.

Looking at Maku he noticed the boy had blood still under his fingertips which was weird for him to see. "What have you been up to exactly my friend" he would ask Maku directly without actually saying what he was asking in regards to Maku should know by now with how close they were. Now Youka would begin to explain the mission as he had heard it to get a feel for what the others thought they should do. "Well guys this is a protection mission of sorts, some guy is paying well to transfer his money to another location and ensure nothing happens to it. Of course there will be some resistance I think but nothing we can't handle as always, right guys" he would say looking at both of them. "Are there any concerns that you guys have or any questions, the caravan should be here soon"

She screamed at the top of her long for several seconds, flailing about, which would make it difficult to hold her, but not impossible. As youka began explaining the mission she would have calmed a bit, still flailing but very weakly out of reflex in a way that looked slightly comical in the background of youkas explanation and when he was finished she would have finally stopped to look at him, feeling a little silly.

"Um... Got it. We can handle it" finally she settled in maku's back, sliding the bag from its position at her hip to her butt and beginning her inventory ritual. Kira count 226 twc 1059)

Maku held Kira's thighs as she struggled, preventing her from falling and possibly hurting herself.  Honestly he knew it was stupid to always be trying these antics with her, and eventually she was going to smack him, or actually poison him in the back for it, but until then he would just keep smiling.  

Youka described the job, pretty easy, though honestly Maku didn't know why they didn't just kill everyone in the caravan and straight up take the gold, but he wasn't on the lead for this one so he would just do as told.  He heard Youka ask him about the blood on his finger tips, damn he'd thought he got it all.  "O nothing much just doing some meat preparation at home."  Is what he would say out loud for Kira's benefit.  While in his mind he would open the link between him and Youka, and in gory detail explain what he had been doing with his new jutsu, so it would be like Youka had actually been there.  

"Nah, I'm all good, lets just head out."

Youka watched both of their antics, he was actually starting to get used to it without fighting it too much as it provided him a good laugh as well. He knew they were just having fun and in these times that was all you could do to stay sane. So he had to learn to acutally accept it without being so strict on them about it. After Maku had been asked about the blood in his fingertips he heard Maku give some random answer that he could instantly tel wasn't the truth. What followed made Youka's heart race as he was told the gritty details about what happened and how amazing it must have been, it was like he was there himself doing it.

Youka would have to see this new jutsu in action, but for now the caravan had arrived and he would start walking in front of it being the caravans vanguard taking the battle diretly at the front. "Maku you take the back and Kira you take the top of the caravan and watch both sides please" He wanted to ensure all their bases were covered and they had a full 360 collectively working to ensure the moneys safety. So far though everything was going well and the other civilians that were with the caravan watched nervously as if something could happen at any moment. "Oh guys I think I forgot to mention we might be going through a bandit camp as well...so yea there's that..shouldn't be anything too serious though but we'll see". As soon as the civilians heard bandit camp they became that much more concerned about their welfare looking all around themselves to ensure that they weren't being followed. Youka would just smile at it all as he thought more on how seals worked and what he could do better to apply them to the skin.

The talk of meat made her slightly hungry, and she wondered if after the mission they would be going to get some food. Maybe she would suggest maku cook for them. Either way that was....Her train of thought was cut off as the caravan approached, and a few moments before He the words left youka's mouth she'd already bounded off of Maku to jump onto the top of the caravan. "I call top!" she yelled excitedly before rolling over on top of the alrge cart to look up at the sun, blinding herself for a moment. Squinting and blinking she would roll over onto her side, registering Youka's instructions and nodding to him. "Got it. Keeping watch all around....um.....Bandit camp? like the guys who rob steal and....rape?" her voice caught in her throat before the word rape came out and she took a big gulp of air to clear it before continuing.

Maku felt as she leaped from his shoulders onto the top of the caravan.  Once again Kira did her signature style of starting off confident and happening, and slowly trailing to the complete opposite.  He agreed with Youka's plan, and had no qualms with it.  Maku stood still and let the caravan pass him by.  He heard her mention, the prospect of rape.  In an attempt to lighten the mood he shouted up to her "Don't worry Kira, when you look this good, I have the better chance of getting raped."  He laughed unsure if the other two would.

As the caravan fully passed him, he eliminated his chakra signature with the suppression tech.  Maku also changed his look as he began to walk following the caravan.  He appeared as that of a beautiful blonde woman.  With mastered transformation he could change his appearance with no chakra or hand seals.  Hopefully in this way he would draw any attacks his way and keep them from Kira.  He would wait for Youka to signal if he saw any signs of trouble.

Being at the front of the caravan meant that Youka would be the one that initiated any atacks that came their way. He was being diligent in this mission as he wanted to instill some ethics in all of them that sometimes you do need to be serious in your work and can't afford to play around all the time. This would be one of those mission to prepare them for another mission he had heard of from the shady guy on the borders. From what he heard about the mission a lot of mercs had tried it even a few missing nin, but none of them had come back from it due to the nature of the people that were guarding it, they were supposed to be very strong ninja and Youka wanted to try them out but he needed to ensure his team was ready for that.

Being snapped back to reality by his chakra senses he picked up three seperate chakra signatures closing in on their location, "Be on guard guys, something is coming" he would say focusing more on the movement of the unseen forces. After a while he felt the signatures break off on was coming directly for him another had split off to the middle and one was flanking all the way to the back of the group. "They're trying to surround us guys, it's only three of them though, more than likely an advance party or scouts, lets get rid of them quick and easy alright". Youka was ready for the frontal attack as he saw the would be attacker closing in on him, he saw a shine in the air and just barely dodged kunai that was aimed for his head, mad he was lucky for dodging that. The attacker on the other hand was not so lucky, as soon as he made hand to hand contact he would have already prepped two explosive seals in both his hands and would push violently against the mans body applying the seals to the mans chest.

The man would get up and turn back to run away and get more distance, Youka wouldn't follow because the man was already dead he just didn't notice it yet, but to anyone else watching it would just seem as if he had let the man go. "Guys I see the other two coming for each of you handle them quickly before the main group arrives.
