Wind Release Training. {P}
Fri May 23, 2014 11:42 pm
Inijo awoke, lying in an apartment building, in his room. He had a grin on his face; for the last few months he had been training in elemental training. He hadn't done this since his Mokuton training, when he had learned to use the style most Senju were blessed with by blood in combat. He'd done this twice in his life time, up until the point to where he had started to train his new element. He had done it once before for Suiton, also known as water release. His first of two basic elements was earth release, and then he trained Suiton so that he could merge the two to gain the ability to use Mokuton release. It had been a while since he had done the training - since before even the Chuunin Exams.
As he got up, he would put on a new change of clothing. He wore a white shirt, long sleeved, and it was loose. The shirt kept him rather cool while training, and he preferred to wear it while training. He wore black pants with it, held up by a belt and a weapons pouch attached to it. Inside the weapons pouch was a Kunai knife he had obtained, who knows when really. He hadn't kept track of it. He didn't bring any other weapons or items he normally wore, such as those special gloves which seemed to increase his strength through unknown means, or his war armor he had obtained, which was rather unique to him as it was a Senju clan based armor. He had sold all that, deciding to, for the most part, rely on his natural abilities for survival in fights from this point on, to increase in his skill. Besides the Kunai and plain ordinary clothing and his weapons pouch, he had his headband. He tied it around his head, the metal plating facing the direction he was, at all times, and was placed on his forehead. The metal plating had an image forged on it when it was made, it was the symbol of the village Kumogakure; the village hidden in the sky.
He grinned, leaving his room. He had yet to have breakfast, as he had just woken up. Though despite him just waking up, it was nearly noon, so he figured he should eat something, 'lest he starve in the middle of no where and have to make his ascent back to the village in search of food. He prepared a small box of ramen, quick and instant. Warming it up after putting water in it, allowing it to boil the ramen and cook it. Mixing in some seasoning, he would grab utensils and begin to eat it.
After finishing his breakfast, he would begin to walk out of his home, locking the entrance, leaving no way in without breaking into it. He then proceeded to walk through the village, paying no mind to the civilians he had passed. He continued on to travel outside of the village, he would only be there for the day, and not even a full one. He had been training in his new element for past while now, taking his time to perfect it, so that he could properly use it in battle. He grinned, thinking of possibilities of what he could do in battle.
Over the past while, why he was training, he took many things that were vulnerable and weak, and especially cut-able, and attempted to cut them with nothing other than the use of his chakra. It was a rather difficult effort, however, it was a necessary task to train Wind release; or Fuuton. He had taken many leaves, and had held them between the palms of his hands, attempting to focus his chakra into two grinding blades, however, it was far more difficult than it had appeared or sounded. Only another reason as to why he needed to train; he hadn't yet reached capabilities beyond his current skill level. He had repeated the process over and over, each time failing to successfully cut a straight line into each. In fact, for the longest time he could hardly make a cut that wasn't less than an inch long. He had practiced with small items for a while, making small cuts, not even an inch long. The cuts that improved in length also failed to be straight enough to prove successful in his hard worked attempts towards mastering Fuuton.
He continued to walk, and sighed, rather annoyed at the thought of the amount of failures that had escalated in what seemed to be such a short amount of time over the weeks. He took notice of the weather next - not having bothered with it earlier, might have been good to know what the later bits of the day would be like. Would he have to find shelter, or would he be kay enough to walk back home? He looked up in the sky, his hand covering over his eyes. The sky was clear blue for the most part, there were little to no clouds in the sky in fact, besides maybe one or two. The wind was blowing at a slow pace as well, which was rather comforting to him, and well suited for a day of training, in his own opinion.
After leaving the village, he headed to the area he had already decided he would train in beforehand. It was a small, open field with a lot of large rocks around. They were probably a few good feet in diameter, of course not being perfect, as they aren't perfect circles, moreso rough around the edges, and cracked and then some. But they would serve their purpose, he figured, no difference either way. The area had no shade, however. This being due to the lack of clouds and trees, due to it being an open area. Dust seemed to fly up in the air every few minutes or so, due to the wind, but due to it's slow pace there wasn't that much being lifted off the ground. He merely walked up to one of the boulders, and began to train by placing both hands on the rock, leaving them parted about six inches in range.

Angerona had been wandering for some hours now, she had informed her ally previously that she would return soon, but for now she required a break from their travels in order to see if she could find anything else of use near the Mountains she had so often visited and loved, perhaps she would find supplies, or even - if she were lucky - another human being. Her mind would be racing with thoughts of the travel she would soon be undergoing and how eager she was to leave this land, ridding herself of the ties within for good. Angerona sighed deeply as she now entered the area in which there was a small field of sorts, devoid of any type of shade or trees - both of which unnerved Angerona, but she did not feel ready for a fight anyway, due to the previous ones she had been in, she had grown tired of such things at the moment and merely wished to rest.
It was at this moment that she would notice Inijo, her eyes widening as she recalled her first "Friend" that she had made all those weeks ago, and how she regretted attacking him upon her first contact with Aufero. She doubted that he would recognize her new appearance, but hoped that he had other means of identifying her. She would ensure that Aufero was sheathed upon her hip, allowing - of course - for her cape to billow lightly in the wind as she called out: "Inijo! - It's me, Yuriko!" She did this while moving toward him with a small wave, appearing as non-hostile as she could with the Darkness upon her, though as she was not in the Veil and in Sunlight, it was much more faint.
Angerona was eager to reunite with her friend, and wondered what she could converse with him about, perhaps the village, or his training, or maybe he even knew where to travel. It had been so long since she had seen another friendly face from the Village, not one who wished to kill her or return her forcefully, but one that she hoped . . . Would still be her friend.

As he placed both hands on the rather large rock, or boulder, he would begin to think of how the rest of his previous training over the same matter had gone. It had been rather easy once he started improving, then again any subject would have been the same. Begin training over something, typically the first thing that would happen is that one would mess up, such as how Inijo did in failing to perfectly cut a mere leaf straight in half. The cuts being short, or the longer ones not being perfectly straight, it certainly required a bit more concentration. However, over time he began to show more success, hence why he was moving onto a much larger scaled object to cut in half, for the purposes of training. If he can even cut the rock a little bit, at least to the half way point, he'd probably have improved in this skill greatly, and could probably do it with leaves and paper that much easier.
He began, over the course of an hour he began to focus his chakra, picturing it grinding together at a certain point on the rock, and it slowly began to cut. The cut wasn't even an inch deep, for the first minute. He continued to focus, however, it slowly being cut down, continuing to go deeper and deeper to the center of the rock. He began to grin, though he was putting in a lot of effort to remain concentrated, he was already happy with the results. The cut began to grow deeper, though, once it had reached nearly four inches in, he had heard someone call his name. It was a familiar voice - One of which he hadn't heard in quite sometime. She announced her name, also. It was Yuriko, he stopped focusing on his training for a moment, and began to focus on her chakra. It had her Chakra signature, though it didn't necessarily quite look like her. Maybe it was the distance, Inijo figured. "Oi, oi! Yuriko, how've you been?" He said, beginning to approach her. He asked how she was once he got closer, close enough for her to hear him without him having to shout, like he did upon greeting her. "Haven't seen you in the village for a while." He said, having not realized the length of their last meeting to this point in time until he had thought about it. With his training, he hadn't really noticed the fact that he hadn't seen Yuriko, or really anyone, for the past while. He began to sigh - He would now have to start over for his training session, though that wasn't really a problem. The day appeared to still be young, he had spent an hour on training on this rock, so he would have already had improved in skill, hopefully. When he looked back at the rock, he noticed the line wasn't necessarily straight up and down - a sign that he needed to focus his chakra a little better, though the fact that it had went rather deep into the rock was a better sign for him, and had shown a little improvement. He was currently waiting for Yuriko's reply, as he turned back to face her. The last time he had seen her was when the two had 'trained' together, which was basically Yuriko swinging a sword around trying to hit Inijo in a spar. Though she was too slow back then. The time that had passed, he was fairly sure Yuriko had improved in skill. He would have offered a spar, though he had no time for it, he preferred training in fuuton for now, and if she offered, he may accept a fight later, if he wasn't exhausted. Though it was unlikely, at the moment, that he would be sparring that day.
While waiting for Yuriko's response, he would begin to pick up a pebble, and begin to try and cut it in half, just for a little training while conversing with an old friend. He began to focus his chakra once more, waiting for Yuriko to speak. He imagined his chakra beginning to cut into the pebble, which soon enough, with a little concentration, it begun to. The pebble was hidden between the two palms of his hands - his left palm aiming towards the sky, and was underneath his right hand, with the right palm aimed towards the ground. There had already been a small cut made into the pebble, and he continued to focus his chakra, while listening to Yuriko if she had decided to speak, in hopes of cutting the pebble completely in half.

Angerona smiled - though with an eerie effect, due to her slightly unhinged appearance caused by the Darkness, including darker red eyes which had dark circles around them as if she had not slept properly in weeks, and her smile was nearly a wicked grin, though something about her still seemed friendly as she spoke, cape flowing in the gentle breeze: "Inijo . . It has been so long - - - I have been fine, how have you been? As for the Village . . . I - Well, do not tell any of the others but I left, I do not want to come back after what happened with Yaju ..." Angerona's smile faded quickly as she spoke, forming into a frown as she now mumbled about the events of the night with Yaju and Aufero and how she ran from the village the next day, leaving her parents and belongings behind.
Eventually, she shook her head and raised it, smiling once more, though now much more soft and gentle of a smile than previously: "But what are you doing out here? Training? I could train with you, if you want." She would say quietly, the Darkness becoming rather suppressed and calm as she did so, Inijo was one of the few around which she could feel calm and collected, safe, even. She only hoped that she could help her dear Friend with what-ever it is he was doing out here, so much so that she did not even mind the sunlight and lack of shade around her, she felt for the first time in a long while; Like a young girl again.

The pebble continued to be cut through using Inijo's chakra. He was making good progress for his training, having already been out here for sometime before Yuriko had shown up. At this point, he'd have gotten no reply from Yuriko yet, though it had only been a second, if not a little longer. The cut in the pebble had grown deeper, not that the pebble was that big, but he had only been doing it for a few seconds now. When he opened his hand, he saw a jagged line. It wasn't perfect yet, so he grew a discouraged face, though quickly looked up at Yuriko when she had began to talk. She had said that it had been a while, and that she was doing fine. She had then proceeded to ask how Inijo was doing, though quickly followed up her question with a reply to an earlier statement made by Inijo which said that he hadn't seen the girl in Kumogakure lately. She had mentioned not to tell the others, which was rather strange, as he knew no others that knew Yuriko to inform. But he let her continue. She mentioned she had left because of something someone named Yaju had done, the name had sounded familiar, though he couldn't remember it right away. "Who's Yaju?" He would ask "And what happened?" He asked, growing a more curious face. "O. And I'm doing good too." He said, responding to an earlier question Yuriko had asked. Out of courtesy, supposedly, but still.
In the meanwhile, while responding to Yuriko, he would drop half the pebble, cutting through it completely, though not perfectly. He dropped one of the two halves on the ground, and resumed the past position where he held the pebble in between the palms of his hands to focus chakra. Again, his right palm was aimed towards the ground, while his right hand covered the left, and the left palm aimed towards the sky. He continued to focus chakra once more, trying to cut the stone again.
Supposedly after Yuriko had finished explaining what had happened with Yaju, she would ask about what he was doing out here, and had bothered to ask if it was training, and had even offered to train with Inijo. "Yeah, I'm training. Though I don't really see this being a multiple person training session, sorry." He would say. "I'm trying to cut rocks without using any physical objects." By physical objects of course he meant swords, and stuff like that, weapons mainly. "I'm doing it to be able to use a new chakra nature, Wind release." He would say, wondering if she knew the term. She had been fresh from the academy when they had met for the first time, he believed, so it is unlikely, though possible. "What're you doing up here?" He would say, after, if any, response from Yuriko.

Angerona stiffened up at the question that Inijo had asked, who exactly Yaju was, and what had happened that night which she left. She paused for a long moment, her gaze casting downward, before eventually beginning to explain the events which caused her to leave the village, how Yaju had placed a strange seal upon her neck and spoke within her mind, how he intended to use her for his own will and how he threatened her in the caves until she had finally attacked him, defeating him only when he went in to her mind and was beaten there. She then further elaborated upon how she left the next morning, changed her appearance and cut her hair as a sign of leaving the Village behind. Yaju had found her once more there, and forced her to leave the border of the Village where she became a Missing Ninja.
Angerona explained all of this because she trusted Inijo, she also simply needed to tell someone, anyone, about what had happened. Stray tears streamed down her cheeks as she spoke, appearing much like a young girl at this point. However, she would eventually calm herself as Inijo mentioned training a new chakra nature, one she had only vaguely heard of the academy. She then wiped away her tears at his question and spoke softly: "I came here --- Because I was hoping to enter the village one last time, to say Good-bye to my parents. But . . . Maybe it would be best if I stayed out here for a little while." Angerona now absently ran a hand along the sword which lay within a sheath upon her hip, her cape having ceased flowing due to her current mood as she gazed upon Inijo in waiting, as if he were an older sibling or teacher.

After a long few moments passed, Angerona would sigh deeply and mutter to her sword: "I feel as restless as you, Goddess. - We should enter the Village now, there will always be time later to catch up with old friends, will there not?" With that, she would sadly smile toward Inijo and simply state: "I will see you again soon, Inijo - I have to go now, before it gets too late, to see my parents. It has been weeks since I left, they must be worried about me." Now Angerona swiftly turned and moved toward the Village in the distance, picking up her speed until she was dashing forward at [50] half of her full speed, putting as much distance between her and the place she had just been as possible. She could not afford to lose any more time and as such, she would not bother sneaking into the Village, as she would simply enter it as if she belonged.
Eventually, she stopped a fair distance from the gates and gathered herself, before beginning to walk off into the bright sunlight, harsh now, without her friend's calming influence or her Goddess's gentle words, only her Darkness and the Light. It was at this time that Aufero now indeed did speak up, on the topic of her return: "We must re-enter the cycle. Returning to wence you came, only to emerge once more with new resolve and power. One day we shall exit the cycle and eventually create our own, where we shall be the ones in control of power and deciding whom shall have it. For now, Yuriko, simply keep in mind who are your enemies, and who are your allies." Angerona nodded at this, closing her eyes softly as she continued forward, hoping that the day would progress better than it had so far.
