Tengakure's New Age Round 1 Matchup: Noxville vs Goon

The arena was set, the match ups had been called. Now it was time for the fights to begin. Hopefully it would be spectacular and amazing. Let's hope it wasn't as boring as Tengakure's last Chuunin Exams 'ey?

Nox couldn't see shit. He was blindfolded, and was being pushed by many hands, which were guiding him toward the sound of heavy cheering, jeering, and the sound of the new Tenkage's voice. Each confused step Nox took seemed to shake the ground. The towering 7 feet tall, giant of a man finally made it to the center of the arena. When he removed his blind fold, he was standing directly in front of a man with a large afro. Nox looked down at Goon to observe his shirtless opponent. This was his matchup? Nox scowled at the rules that entered one ear and exited through another. No killing? That was like being allowed to play with the food that you're not allowed to eat.  

Nox used one hand to grab the long black cloak that concealed his entire figure. To achieve that feat, the cloak was actually more like a tarp. Nox ripped the cloak off of him to reveal his own rippling, shirtless body and tossed the cloak to the floor by his feet. The man resembled the hulk in build, and unreadable tattoos riddled every inch of his body. He assumed a fighting stance some five meters away from his opponent and said, "Fuck your rules, Lord Tenkage!" He met eyes with Goon before emitting a mighty roar on par with that of a titan.

It had begun. Goon had been the one to break the deafening silence that followed Nox's spine-chilling roar. Goon was closing in fast with his right hand ready to launch an uppercut. Though Nox did not look it, he was a well adapted shinobi. Granted, his sole priority is to shed blood and consume human flesh, and had little aptitude for other things that required an IQ of above 75. However, when it came to hunting prey, Nox was a genius. Without prior movement to give off his intentions, Nox kicked his giant cloak, which was on the ground, towards Goon at a speed of 25 with the flick of his foot. Goon would run into the cloak, thus blinding his vision.

If his counter was successful, and Goon was subsequently stumbling to free himself, Nox would simply leg sweep to make his opponent land head first onto the ground. This would make it increasingly hard for Goon to grasp his bearings and free himself from the depths of the large tarp of a cloak.

The ooh's and ahhs came from every which way as the fight commenced. With Nox's ploy to distract Goon a success, Nox would follow up with another attack. Goon was suspended in the air as a result of Nox's successful leg sweep, along the crowd's anxiety to see what would come next. With his mighty hands, Nox would slam his right fist into Goon's chest just as he was about to descend head-first into the ground. Because of the way he was suspended in the air, and the state of confusion Goon must have been in as a result of the cape that covered him, blocking Nox's attack would be nearly impossible. The fist would feel like a sledge hammer sent from the very heavens to smite Goon's existence. If the force of Nox's fist didn't, the increased force impact to the ground would be enough to make Goon spit up blood. The ground would crack where Good would hit his head, and the crowd would emit a wall of sound, expressing their excitement.

Goon was lost he had no clue what was going. All he knew was that he was in the air. Darkness was all he saw, the roar of the crowd was all heard.The ground would have been enough, but he felt a crushing weight come down on his chest. If that wasn't enough, he hit the ground, his head bounced and tasted something metallic in his mouth.

His thought was lost, the pain was excruciating, he had to move that's all he knew. His right hand flew up to the back of his head it felt wet, while he used his left to pull the cloak over his head. The light blinded him just for a moment, and Goon slowly rose back up to his feet. He was ready for more, he heard shouts telling him to give up, but that only made him want to keep going.

Nox turned to face the Tenkage, who was clearly visible among the crowd, and maintained steady eye contact as he walked away from Goon, allowing him to get up on his feet. Nox's expression would speak volumes about his character, which would be up to Takeo, the joint host of this event, to interpret. Nox would turn around and face his opponent once more once he was 3 meters away from him. Nox saw that the boy was bleeding from his mouth and from the back of his afro, and Nox's mouth began to water as a result. With his thoughts scattered thanks to the blunt head trauma, Goon squared up once more, expressing his desire to continue fighting. A valiant fighter that only Tengakure could produce. 

Nox found himself having second thoughts about maiming and devouring his opponent just yet. He would play a while longer, taking advantage of the Goon's current state of mind. Nox performed the clone technique and summoned two copies of himself to surround Goon in a triangular formation. Nox knew that Goon was in no condition to think critically, and sought to trick and confuse him even more before giving the crowd the victory they were waiting for. Together with his clones, Nox would run in a circle surrounding Goon, all the while, maintaining a 3 meter distance. Nox and the clones would gain momentum until they were dashing at top speed (25), forming a small scale cyclone around the profusely bleeding Goon.

Goon's thoughts raced, he couldnt think straight. He wiped his mouth and looked at the blood on his hand. This was the first he taste and saw his own blood in a while. As he looked at it images of two people getting slaughtered popped through his head, and a little toddler covered in the blood. He didn't know what it meant, he couldnt even think much on it. But it freaked him out a bit, as he was looking at the blood, he saw the feet of three noxs as they passed him. The flaw of the technique, Goon saw that only one of three had a shadow. He knew that, that one was NOx.

As NOx passed in front of him again, Goon straight kicked Nox aiming for the knee that was closest to him. Which would make Nox fall sideways towards Goon, as he was falling, Goon would grab his head and bring it to his knee. Goon stop using his brain for this fight he was going mostly on slight observations and instinct, while adrenaline and his own will made him keep going.
