TNA: Noxville vs Goon

Nox and the clones watched their prey while dashing in a circle around Goon. Goon was acting on impulse, a rush of adrenaline was the only thing keeping him going. He was loosing blood, yet at the same time, feeling the additional weight of the pressure to win this fight. As a result, Goon's movements were basic and predictable. Nox saw Goon focusing at the floor, where Nox's shadow was. Was he trying to follow Nox's footsteps? Then, without any prior movements, or build up of momentum, Goon kicked out at Nox. Unless Goon's legs were three meters long, however, Nox would be out of the kick's range and thus, out of harms way. Still, Nox was surprised to see how Goon could so easily distinguish the difference between Nox and his clones, and stopped running. He flinched a few feet backwards, furthering the distance between them. The clones followed suit and stared at Goon.

But how could he tell? Even if it was a basic technique, A fellow underclassmen in the ninja ranks should be easily deceived by this strategy. Nox thought back to when he saw Goon looking at the floor. Nox looked at his feet, then at the feet of his clones, and finally pieced it together. Nox looked  up at the sunny tenga sky, and sucked his teeth at the convenience that this arena had been made without a roof. "My shadow?" After a second, Nox would square up to continue his fight with Goon. His feet were right next to his cloak and a small puddle of blood that Goon left behind. Nox would speak out to Goon, knowing fully that it would result in jeering from the crowd. They came to see blood, not idle chatter. "What...does your blood taste like?" As he spoke, Nox crouched down and dipped his finger in the small puddle of Goon's blood. His large beady eyes gazed curiously into Goon's.

Goon had missed the kick, the blow to the head seemed to mess with his perception a little bit. NOx had moved away and looked shocked for only a moment. Goon was taking deep breathes, trying to regulate his head. When Nox came back towards him, stopping at the blood on the ground, and bending down.The blood taste like sweet metal, and rebirth. He wasn't trying to appeal NOx, he meant what he said, but he didn't know why he said it. It was the first thing to come to mind.

Goon's mind wasn't racing so much now it was calming down. The intial confusion and daze he was in was gone. He saw the giant standing next to the cloak. Was he gonna try and use it again, no no, cause I won't fall for the same trick twice. He thought to himself, as he watched his opponent, and waited for him to make his move.

Nox listened to Goon's answer curiously. He was clearly puzzled by the answer. By Nox's personal experience, human flesh and blood tasted just like chicken. However, Nox had an alterior motive. He needed to strike while his clones were still active. He just needed a way to properly decieve Goon. The clones dashed back to Nox's side, and together, they moved in a way that would scramble their order, such as to confuse their opponent. All three of them grabbed their cloaks and tossed them at least 10 meters in the air. The cloaks fanned out as they descended so that the full length of the cloaks were parallel to the ground. This would cast a large shadow on the ground.

By the time Goon could react to the cloaks that were thrown, Nox and the clones would already be closing in. Nox would chop down at Goon's neck from the right side while the clones chopped at Goon's left and central sides. While it may have been true that goon would not fall for the same trick twice, Nox had doubt that he was ready for this strategy. The cloak would cast a large shadow over the fighters thanks to the sun's light. This would make it impossible to detect which Nox was the real one, as all of them would be under the cloak's shadow. With attacks at 25 speed, Goon would have a hard time responding to all attacks at once on top of determining which Nox was real.

And thus the fight would come to an end. Takeo had honestly zoned out for the entirety of it, preoccupying himself with a crossword. Thus he was not aware of the defiance Noxville had shown during the beginning of the battle. Of course that much was obvious, he was still alive after all. While not one for killing Takeo felt that an example would need to be made soon. Alas it seemed that another victim would have to happen. The silence and then sudden roar of the crowd alerted Takeo to the end of the match. With a casual wave he announced the winner to be Goon and then went on with his crossword. Next time Xxyer would be forced to watch this instead.

And with that done, Goon turned around and exited the arena, he needed to go train more.
