the student chose the master [nk io Yaju Blues]

The young Academy Student, almost Genin is clearly surprised by the following words that escape the man, this Master Class Shinobi wishes to train him?? Wants to know his name and actively help him achieve his dream? For a moment Blues perks up, before the question of his name pops his bubble a bit and he quietly answers "Blues." in a bit of an awkward fashion, shuffling his feet in discomfort as he does so. He hears the mans words of encouragement and smiles a bit, he has help, now all he needs to do is strike while the Iron is heated and malleable enough to be formed into a shape or length that can be better used for whatever design the blacksmith would be looking for! Most likely to mix with carbon and silicon to make Cast Iron for things like cook-wear...Err, he'll train really really hard! Is the gist of his thought process...

The Cyborg boy follows his new Sensei along with the Shinobi who's rank he doesn't know is that of a Chuunin, he assumes she's of Genin rank currently as she appears about his age as it is a logical assumption, he hasn't seen her fight before after all so he can't judge any level of skill so he can only assume she's probably a Genin with normal Genin levels of chakra and strength...
Which is still leagues above the Cyborg who hasn't even learned to properly utilize the basic academy techniques and his Kekkei Genkai is much too dangerous to use in a spar, all the tools he has are incredibly lethal and the techniques are destructive...When they don't fizzle out of control..
As he's come from the academy where they provide him weapons for practice he has no weapons on him to help boost his chances and no jutsu to utilize in combat.

That thought in mind, he pulls up his gas-mask and begins stretching out his legs from side to side before twisting his body from left to right by turning his upper body and keeping his waist still...
The most hopefully he'll expect is rather large bruises and a severely sore body, he'll endure anything in order to gain the strength to protect what's precious to him...
The basic academy taijutsu will simply have to pull him through in this...

Before the spar would commence he would take a gander at the two students that stood before him for a moment and thought of something. His eyes would gravitate towards Blues who seemed to be the only one without a weapon from the looks of it, but something else made him curious about him. While everyone was still stretching, he would summon a scroll that held one of his prized weapons that had been passed down to him from his Uncle, but today this weapon might be passed down to another.

Pulling the sheathed blade from its vessel containter, he would toss it to Blues in a way that the sheathe would stick into the ground a couple of feet from him," Here use this for a bit in the spar, i wouldn't want you coming at me bare handed or anything," hoping the boy would take the blade, he would now wait until the two of them were fully stretched out and ready for the upcoming spar.

While he had continued to wait, Yaju would begin to make a ten meter circle around himself and stood in the middle of it before finishing his stretching, making a little challenge for the both of them if they should rise to it. After finishing his own set of stretching he would smile and point to the circle," Todays objective will be to get me out of this circle...now you have until the both of you get tired or i knock you both out, best of luck to you both," his smile would disappear as he relaxed his body and stood in the middle of the circle," You two will have to work together and show me what the both of you can do, but the test begins now so come at me with all that you have," after speaking he would wait for the two of them to come and attack him.

Angel went through the stretches she had learned back in the academy.  Stretching her legs first on then the other.  She pulled her arm across her chest the her other one twisting her body while she did.  She did several squats prepariung her muscles for the work out.  Angel normally didn’t fight on a team.  She especially didn’t do close quarters fightning.  But she was good at strategy and so she would find a way to keep them both safe.  That was her job.  Reaching into her pocket she withdrew a scroll that contained her only puppet.  she hoped this would be enough.  If she had to resort to her other specialty then she might spend too much chakra as well as endanger her team mate.  Many things went into preparing for a fight mentally and physically.  Her opponent wasn’t some push over either he was a Master.  She wasn’t going to get the drop on him nor would she exceeded any of his abilities.  Timing would be important.  And so would position.  Angel looked at the circle on the ground.

She needed to make the first move.  She was pretty sure she was faster than her team mate so if she went first it would give him time to prepare.  Her master didn’t say anything about them staying in the circle but Angel thought maybe it was implied.  Angel looked over at Blues and nodded. Gripping the scroll that still held her puppet she dashed forward ready to begin the trial.
 

First she would try her hand at some tai jutsu.  Taijutsu was her absolute worst skill.  But she figured if she starts poor and works her way up to better skills it would look better.  Running forward she would rotate her hips to the left and kick at Yaju with her right foot at center mast [speed 30 strength 12].  She almost naturally assumed her would bock or dodge.  If either would occur she would change directions doing a sommersault back the way she came.  Landing she would form a cup with her hands and look to see where Blues was.  If he was to take the invitation she would throw her weight back and toss him just over Yaju-sensai’s head.  If he had taken a different route she would attempt to release her puppet.

A blade is presented to him, giving him a bit of an advantage...a bigger one then he had before anyway, stepping forward he grasps what would appear to be a rather thick bladed stabbing weapon, with a hand guard and a straight blade. Unsheathing it he remembers the academy lessons utilized for stabbing weaponry, basic skills...Basic training...A Master class Shinobi.

He glances towards the girl and nods minutely and prepares to dash forward before he falters, his eyes widening behind his goggles as he can barely keep up with the girls speed, she flips backwards and he notes this position one lesson being driven into his head multiple times.
'The air is dangerous, we cannot shift our momentum in the air and it leaves us travelling in one direction..A Shinobi without his agility his dead, a Shinobi in the air is at the mercy of the wind..and the wind is unkind'

That thought in mind along with noting the puppet being summoned, his role in this fight is confirmed.
Close range, distraction, allow the stronger Shinobi to attempt to land a hit, try to pin the target.
Dashing forward his body crouching lower to the ground to reduce wind resistance he focuses momentum to his left back leg as he enters melee range and pushes from his left foot his bent arm extending and twisting his body turning sideways the thrust aimed for Yaju's left pectoral his right foot stopping his forward momentum in preparation to maneuver away or forward to continue the assault...Distract, Pin allow the superior Shinobi to launch an attack successfully, Ten meters, six meters from the edge on the upper right corner..Eighteen feet to force him back.

Mission Impossible.

The battle had begun and it would seem as if Angel would take the initiative to attack first leaving him with a close range battle. Without activating his clan's doujutsu he would smile and watch her movements with precision until she had finally came closer to him, sliding his right foot back a mere two inches he would catch her leg as it came within striking range of his chest and use his strength [40] to launch her into the air and back away from him. Her strength was a little impressive but it didn't have any power behind it which led him to believe that she wasn't as adept in Taijutsu as most ninja, but hopefully she had some other skills at her disposal.

His eyes now went towards Blues who at first had surprised him with his movements but instead of stepping backwards he stepped forward into the direction of his blade and blocked it with the back of his Gauntlet with a smile," Nice form and structure....have you had some experience in weaponry before?," his smile would disappear as he jumped backwards five meters, leaving him with at least 5 meters of movement space. Gauging the new situation he would see the puppet being summoned and tilted his head for a moment," A puppet user....this may get interesting," he had only fought against one puppet user, but the kid was weak...now he would be probably going up against someone who had more skill with the puppet.

Angel was surprised to get thrown into the air.  But it wasn't like she didn't expect it.  the only options other than block or dodge was to grab.  but Angel was ready for this eventuality.  While still in the air she watched the exchange of blows.  Rotating Angel summoned the puppet from the scroll that was already in her hand, attaching her threads with the precision only practice could give.  she landed feet first on its arm while the two still floated, falling toward the ground.  with a flick of her wrist the puppet threw her back into the fray toward Yaju's new location.  [strength 41] 

Angel thought the best part of being a puppet user is your not as helpless while in the air.  before arriving at Yaju, Angel would toss out 2 kunai as a distraction before rotating to kick Yaju from above.  She had to push harder, she had to show her new master her worth. she flicked her wrist and twitched her fingers in preperation for Yaju's retaliation.

His thrust is parried and he steps forward again keeping his opponent in his sights and attempting to keep him in range despite the speed disadvantage "None." He answers his voice barely above a whisper and muffled by his gas mask as Angel flies in from above to launch two kunai towards the Master Shinobi's shoulders while also flying in with a kick, simultaneously he pushes from his back left foot once more crouching a bit lower while aiming for the older mans lower abdominal with another sharp thrust, his feet planted firmly with his back heel raised slightly as the tips of his toes keep him balanced and prepared to launch forward or backward depending on the situation, the distance is now five meters from reaching the parameters of there task. He must be planning something, the downward angle of the thrust along with his Team-mates distraction will most likely either cause a backward movement to be necessary, or he must dodge and block either the blade strike and the kick or the kick and the thrust..

The mans speed makes a number of options available, but this course of attack was the most logical for the Academy Student, teamwork is the key to a Shinobi taking out much more powerful opponents..Personal strength is important, but one of the most important things for a Shinobi is there ability to adapt to situations as they come...

A Master Class Shinobi versus what must be either a High Genin or Chuunin and an Academy Student...
The man said he wanted to see what they were capable of, if nothing else he will show that he is adaptable and will fight as hard as he can with whatever he has...
This sword that he is currently being loaned might just be what saves him from having to get too close to a far superior opponent, the reach and thrusting capabilities of this weapon will be utilized to there maximum potential....At least it's maximum potential when wielded by someone with only basic knowledge..Basic steps, basic thrusting and one secret he will save for the very last moment...

Now the fun had truly begin as the two of them began to work in tandem of each other which had surprised them. Watching Blues give way of an assault to help Angel who would still be amidst in the air was a beautful tactic which in any other situation Yaju would not be able to get out of, but with a smile he had formulated a clear plan. He judged the timing of his attack perfectly waiting until Blues himself was 5 feet from his position and with the angle of the kunai he could do this without hurting any of them.

With a swift stomp of his foot the ground around in a 3 meter square would be dragged straight into the earth, a full ten meters, before their attacks came close to hitting him causing him to disappear under the ground, but that wasn't true purpose of the attack. As his body disappeared into the ground he would smile and perform another jutsu in tandem allowing him to dig under the ground without giving away his position to his students. 5 meters behind them though he would emerge from the ground and into the air, throwing two kunai at them one heading towards Angel and one heading towards Blues.

With this combination attack he was hoping to test their reflexes to last minute changes, while seeing how fast they could switch tactis. Although as far as Yaju was concerned he was closer to the edge than he had imagined, a full 3 meters too close to it. Returning to his normal stance he would wait to see what his students would do in the event of these new attacks.

Her target used a jutsu to drop into the ground just after she had thrown her kunai.  She had already begun her mid air reversal into her kick.  This is the only reason she was able to see her master pop out of the ground.  Earth style Huh?  She gave a little smirk.  She already liked her sensei a little more.  Her wrist twisted and her left index finger extended.  She had been ready for a reversal.  Denial slipped in between the students and the master as he threw the kunai.  Deflecting the kunai the puppet grabbed the spinning blades out of the air while thrusting a straight punch at the Yaju.  Angel landed on the side of the massive hole in the ground right next to where her kunai had stuck into the wall of the pit.  She returned the weapons to her pouch then leaped out of the pit.  Keeping a close eye on her master Angel continued to press the attack.  The goal was to make her master focus on the puppet.  He would have to focus his attention upward to watch for the attacks from the 7 foot giant with 4 arms  two of which flashed kunai creating more things to focus on.  Angel would look over at Blues slightly wider eyed to capture his attention and then gave a slight nod toward the small gap between Denial’s legs.

The ground sinks inward and his front leg is brought down stopping just at the edge of the whole before he flings himself back stopping and turning his head whipping around in search of his sensei, the puppet stops the Kunai causing him to zero in on his opponent, he glances towards the Chuunin who has taken his earlier method of attacking from below and has made a plan from it.
Nodding to his superior officer and team mate in this operation he runs forward, stopping behind the puppet he begins stepping in time with the construct before weaving his arm in between the creatures legs his blade thrusting towards the Master Classes abdominal muscles once more. Before he quickly withdraws the blade even if a stab is made, and prepares to either move forward or backward or perhaps to maneuver to the side, he also watches for any strikes against the puppet as best as he can so he can attempt to intercept and deflect..and perhaps create an opening.
