Tengakure's New Age Round 2 Matchup: Aqua VS Altar
Held in a small arena built specifically for this. Stone floor, circular 25 meter diameter arena, 10 foot high walls surrounding with a viewing area above. No rooftop to save on expenses. After the Tenkage had announced the rules and sat, the bell that indicated the match to begin chimed, Xyxer stood next to the kage in his gear.
[Fight will start when both entrants have posted, if a post has not been submitted within 48 hours regardless of entry it will count as a forfeit on their part]

Altar walked into the arena, and the first thing he noticed were the viewing stands, and mass crowd. Oh, so it was that kind of fight. Not that he minded an audience much, he just thought it strange that people would spare time to watch a genin fight. If it was that. The only info he had was that of Xyxer telling him it was a tournament of some sort. Altar started a quick run around the edge of the ring, noting along the way the various measurements of it. Next, he'd run his eyes across the sea of people there, noting Xyxer among the few faces he knew. Whether he came to support, for business, or simply for the pleasure of it, he didn't know.
Altar retreated back to the edge of the ring, awaiting his opponent, idly twiddling his thumbs.

The Shaman of the ninja world, a wanderer, a man who has seen a great many wonders and people, friend of many ninja powerful and weak, Aqua senju would enter the gates into the arena, looking around he would find himself in unfamiliar territory. Seeing his opponent for the first time he did not know what he was getting himself into or what was in store for him. Clad in full attire with everything at his disposal he would make sure that his trip back was not for nothing. Thunderfury on his upper right thigh and Doomhammer facing handle up on his back Aqua was ready.
He would see his sparring partner at the complete other side of the arena, 25 meters away, maintaining eye contact he would give a slight bow of honor to his opponent. Looking at him Aqua would listen to the rules, this fight was about to start.
[Bell Rings Starting fight, sorry about that delay, had to get back to the village.]

Altar smirked as he saw his opponent enter the arena. This seemed like it'd be a decent fight. His opponent looked tough enough to take him on. The smirk only grew when Altar saw his opponent bow, and he made sure to return the gesture, locking eyes with the man whilst doing it. Once the mutual show of respect was over, Altar would turn his mindset. The man was no longer his opponent, it was his prey. His to dissect and maim at will.
With this in mind, Altar would charge the man, gently swaying from left to right, slowing down and speeding up at random intervals, in an attempt to confuse Aqua.

Interesting movements, Aqua was interested to see that he did not use any jutsu to run towards Aqua, did he not know any or was he just preserving strength for the rest of the fight. No matter after giving his opponent the ability to start the fight it was time for him to make the first move.
Aqua would deduce that since he wasn't using any jutsu that he was a close range fighter. Sure he knew that did not mean he didn't have short range ninjutsu but we would just have to find out. Otherwise what would be the point of moving up to aqua in the first place? He was not running at a constant speed, giving Aqua time to react swiftly and with great force.
When Alter was about a Quarter of the way to Aqua (Aqua of course knowing that because he was fast enough to track Alter) he would begin by using the Ram hand seal to perform the Water Release, Great Exploding Colliding Wave, seeing that there were special rules in place governing how fast a person can go Aqua would have to concentrate to lower the speed of his technique to the desired speed. Aqua would call to the elements for help, praying that water be summoned for him at the center of the arena, a few moments after the handseal was made. Water would begin to burst from air 7 meters above the center ground of the arena. Moving a speed of 50 with a force of 70 the waves would move at that speed in all directions, crashing down on the ground and cresting to a height of ten meters, and repeating motion countless times before crashing into the thick walls of the arena a few moments later. If Alter did not have a way to dodge the waves or withstand them, he would be crushed by the forces of the waves, made unable to move or complete actions, ending the fight as quickly as it began.
Simultaneously As Aqua activated the jutsu he would also pour chakra into his thunderfury using his Armor of the Shaman, allowing aqua to float up into the air, moving at a speed of 30. Given the distance he was away from the waves and the speed that he was moving at Aqua would be able to rise fast enough 15 meters up into the air. Not a drop of water would touch Aqua. This of course all happening if Altar somehow was able to stop him.
Actions Used, Great exploding Colliding Wave, 50 AP, Thunderfurys ability 10 AP, and Call of the Elements: Water, 5 AP. 65 AP potentially used, 175 Remaining.

Altar would slow further, not increasing his speed back up, when he saw his opponent make a handisgn. It appeared to be a Ram...and without further ado, water poured into the arena. At quite a speed, as well. However, nothing Altar couldn't keep up with. At the start of the flow, Altar stopped, and pushed backwards off the ground. He would turn and run, jumping towards the arena wall, a very short distance as he had only made it about a quarter of the way across the arena. Once he reached the wall, Altar would jump onto it, finding rest at the top among the crowd. Altar took only a moment to search for Aqua, finding him seemingly flying above the arena. Well, that was an inconvenience. He couldn't exactly fight an opponent he couldn't reach.
Altar would run around, aiming to get as close to Aqua in the air as possible, his Meigan kicking in to help him keep track of Aqua's movements, as well as telling him his natures. Water and Earth, hmm? Well, he may be able to use that to his advantage. Once as close as he could get, Altar would remain running, then dash back and jump at him. Once within reach and hopefully close enough that Aqua would have nowhere to dodge, Altar would spark a Chidori, not needing handsigns, and aim to pierce Aqua's stomach with it, torquing his body to gain just a little extra speed on it.
Abilities - Meigan: 10 AP, Chidori: 22 AP [Mastered]
~168 AP Remaining~

As Aqua was flying above the arena, several meters away from any sort of ledge or building whatsoever. He would see Altar coming at full speed, now that is what he is talking about! A real dodge to his technique, awesome. Things just got really interesting.
However things changed when Altar would just towards Aqua, and he did in fact have the strength to jump that height to get him. What was he thinking! Aqua couldn't figure out why he would do such a thing, being in the air without the ability to control it could lead to disaster. As soon as Altar would leap into the air and solidify his trajectory Aqua would pour chakra again into this thunderfury. At 50 speed the dagger would fly 1 meter in the direction of alter, in-between the two aiming so the blade of the dagger would be facing Altar and aimed for his middle stomach. If there was no way for Altar to dodge the blade he would make impact with it. Seeing that though he could not use anything to change trajectory or deflect the blade Aqua would be certain that it would hit.
At that point either the blade would just cut through his stomach completely or lodge itself into the blade at 100 sharpness. Even if he was still able to charge the chidori and hit Aqua his armor would make sure he remained unharmed, not only that even if made impact with the armor his bones would break due to the force of his hand basically hitting a brick wall at his top speed.
[With 1 health and no armor to speak of you would probably go unconscious due to the blood loss anyway before you reached me, if you get hit by the blade I would say the match is over. I don't see any kunai on your page either. Aqua would grab you and bring you down the stands where you would be rushed to the hospital. I don't know if you can dodge it.]

Altar watched, a bit wide eyed as Aqua threw his dagger at him. Well, that was a tad unexpected. However, due to his excellent perception and tracking skills, as well as the dagger being bound to a chakra, Altar was able to keep an eye on it. As it flew towards him, Altar would twist his body with the torque he had planned to strike with, narrowly escaping the blade. It took a bit to stop himself from spinning, but when he did he landed squarely on his feet in the stands, looking at Aqua. He didn't really think Aqua would endanger these innocent lives, so he stayed in the stands, moving slightly around. He didn't wanna launch himself into the air again, so he would wait for Aqua to come to him. However...perhaps it was time to enjoy himself a bit.
"Close call there, wasn't it? You almost had me there, but i'm a wily sunuvabitch. You gotta do a lot to catch me." Altar would say, his face changing from serious to a joyful smirk.

"As soon as Altar would leap into the air and solidify his trajectory Aqua would pour chakra again into this thunder-fury"
[I only do this once you use your torque for your chidori, hence the use of the word "solidify". The Timeline is you make your chidori and use your torque for it, I move my dagger in between us. This is a simple addition to the timeline, I'm not manipulating your movements but I am saying that the dagger reaches its destination before you reach the same point. Your torque is used already, otherwise I wouldn't have said "solidify". Unless of course the timeline was manipulated so that you only solidified your trajectory with your preserved torque only when you reached me... which it was not. I also have serious doubts that you would be able to generate any torque at all given your strength of 1.
Does my logic make sense, if necessary can a mod rule if this dodge makes sense physically and within the timeline? Thanks... =D"
