Gone for far to long (YOLO takeover)

Tiffany waited and listened to what the girl had to say.  She seemed a tad bit huffy, but willing to comply all the same.  "Very well, I think a training session will do nicely for you.  See Charlotte and Anne, they can both assist you in training outside.  As for me I have several things to attend to.  It has come to my attention from scouts that it is possible we have some unexpected guests in our borders.  No idea on their motives, or allegiances so it will be something to keep an eye on in the future."  She flipped through some papers on her desk as she spoke.  She continued to sit bolt upright, and her eyes had a severe look on them.  This was not a women who strayed from the point, this was someone who wanted results and expected nothing but the best.  She had to admit to herself, Miyu had some lady balls, and thus she inherently liked her, even if she was a bit of a prat at the moment, but youth did that to people.

"I task you with three immediate missions."  At this she stood, and clearly took on a leadership role.  She may not be as strong as Maku, but at the moment she was the strongest in the village and it was in her hands the fate of so many lives rested.  Not only lives, but an entire culture that could be wiped out by negligance.  It would not be her that history remembered as the one who led when a village was wiped from this earth.  She was a battlefield commander, and she would use her soldiers to win, no matter the odds, no matter the opponent, and if it came to it, no matter the cost.  "Miyu Akarai, you are here by charged to train with the ANBU of this village to gain strength, courage, and intelligence.  You will commit yourself wholeheartedly, any attempt to hold back will be punished most severely.  Secondly, you are to speak with the ANBU about your abilities in their entirety.  This is not a time to speak of secrets, my sisters and I work as a flawless team and I will see you become a part of it.  Thirdly, in addition to your normal duties you are hereby charged with the watch of the gate.  It will be your duty when you are not working on the first two assignments to maintain constant vigilance in the coming and going of everyone there."   She looked at Miyu in an appraising look.  As if weighing her very soul on a scale and seeing if it was wanting, or if it would tip the dish of fate in Yukigakure's favor.

"Do you accept these missions in their entirety, and do you pledge your life to the village?  DO you accept the penalty of death as failure, for failure will bring only wanton destruction upon us."  If Miyu accepted, then Tiffany would set and scribble something on a piece of paper.  "Good, then your training can begin as soon as you are ready, which better be ASAP.  Also take this paper to the flat right next to the gate.  You will find lodgings there, it is to be your new residence.  In this way no matter the hour, no matter the weather condition you will at the gate to face any interloper, or you will be there to greet an ally with a warm smile, is this understood?"  She would say handing over the paper, once again staring Miyu directly in the eyes.

It should be noted, if for some reason Miyu disagrees with any of this then Tiffany will hear what she has to say, and react accordingly.

Miyu listened to the womans orders. She did not like that she had to move to the gates, and leave her mother along at home, but she would do what she needed to in order to become strong. As for having to tell the anbu her abilities? Miyu possessed no special powers, save being able to make a ball of light in her hand somehow. And that time some weird light came out from her blade, but she dind't know much about that as well.

"Yes, I accept these missions." She still did not sound pleased however, but she made no move to voice her discontent.She would accept the letter as it was given to her, staring back into the eyes of Tiffany. She would then glance down at the letter a moment to read it, then would place it in her pocket.

"So I'm to train with your sisters now, or after I take this letter to the guards?" she would wait for an answer, and would either head towards the flat or outside to go train with Tiffany's sisters.

"Train on the way. I see no reason to postpone what needs done." She said sternly while making a hand gesture of dismissal. Tiffany would watch Miyu and see what she would do. It was an interesting meeting. Hopefully everything would begin going her way, and if this was the worst interaction she had as interim leader then things weren't going so wrongly. She gave a slight sigh, releasing the stress form her body. She was exhausted, but she still had one last taxing thing to do before she could rest assured today. She would watch, and wait until Miyu began to leave to put her last duty to task.

Miyu left the room, not looking back at the Deputy leader as she did so. She definitely didn't like the woman, but she respected that the woman actually cared about Yuki, even though she had allowed it to be taken over. She would exit the office and try and locate Anne and Charlotte,seeing as she was supposed to be training with them, it was something that, as much as Miyu hated it, Tiffany was right about. She was to weak to defend the village, and would have to work hard to become stronger.

If she found them she would approach, and would say in a completely formal tone, "Your sister says I am to train with the both of you and inform you of my abilities." Miyu would then wait for either to respond.

"Ooooo you the silly girly who almost made sissy mad. To bad, it woulda been fun dontcha know." Anne would say after Miyu introduced herself. Both sisters were sitting on a bench as they currently were off the clock. Except for the fact, they apparently weren't if they were going to be forced into some labor. O well, it was what is was, and they had to do it.

"Well, what is it you can do?" Charlotte would ask, always the one to cut to the heart of the matter unlike her more childish sister. Waiting she would listen, and process whatever Miyu had to say. This village was almost entirely comprised of Kuniochi it would seem, it was probably better that way.

After Miyu gave instructions, both girls would move away and position themselves. Anne would stand 7 meters from Miyu directly in front of her. Charlotte however moved and had a seat on the bench. "You two can spar first, if you take out Anne to easily then I will join in. Be sure not to cut to deep you two." She would announce. It was obvious that this was not meant to be the most friendly of spars. They would go nearly full force, as that was the only way they truly could be tested.

Anne would bend her knees slightly, and her right hand reached across her body to grip the hilt of her Katana. "Whenever your ready Mayu" yea, she got the other girls name wrong. As it turned out Anne sucked at remembering names, little quirks like these make people more believable. Its just cuter that way ya know.

What could she do?

"My only real skill lies in Kenjutsu. I'm fast with a blade, but is about it." Miyu paused a moment a sshe tried to think of her other abilities, "I'm capable of manipulating the fire and lightning element, as well as somehow combining them to make some weird light on one occasion. Basically, I'm versed in the use of the blade as well as ninjutsu."

Miyu waited to see if the two girls required any more information, if not then she would watch as the two girls moved. Anne stood about 7 meters from Miyu, in front of her, while Charlotte seemed to just change her seating. Charlotte informed Miyu that Anne and her would be fighting first, which prompted Miyu to take a deep breath to calm herself. Her right hand rested on the sheathe of her sword, just beneath the guard, while her left gripped the hilt, ready to draw.

Then Anne said her name wrong, which caused Miyu's eyes to narrow a moment in annoyance. Why would you even bother saying a name if you didn't remember it. However there was a problem of having to make the first move, that was something Miyu didn't want to do. She tended to prefer reaction to action, as she felt her quickdraw was best utilized as a counterattack.

Deciding to perhaps taunt her opponent, and hopefully force her to make the first move, Miyu spoke, "If you'd like to see me at my best, you should attack first. However if you'd like the fight to last more than a single blow I suppose I could make the first move." Even though it was a taunt Miyu spoke it with no emotion, as though she were stating what was in her mind a fact, not an opinion. Of course, this girl before her was an anbu, and could probably kill her without difficulty if she wanted, but if Miyu wanted any chance of getting a good hit on this woman she needed Anne to attack first.

"If you insist Mayu."  Were all the words that Anne bothered to say.  Her right hand still resting on her hilt.  Bending her knees, Anne rushed straight towards Miyu.  Her speed would be 35, cause you know running rules, and would close the 7 meters in no time.  As she got nearer her knees bent even further giving her an almost crouched position.  Once she was 2 meters away, she drew her sword with extraordinary speed.  Her quick draw was pretty fast and wondered if Miyu could keep up.  

She anticipated however that Miyu would be able to.  The reason for her crouch was to swing the blade at an upward angle near her navel.  If she did block, by forcing up with her legs and the force of her arm, she hoped to knock Miyu onto her back foot.  Thus giving her an advantage with her next move.  How Miyu handled adversity or reacting to a strong attack would dictate much of the fight.
