Makussu now was at the entrance of the library, a small breeze tousling his hair as he thought about the dark circumstances. Tatsuya had seemed to disappear of the face of the earth, and he wanted to know exactly why. It seemed as though the building behind him might give him a lead, as usual, but he wanted to see if Kasai was going to come. Leaning against the wall, if one walked by they would see a ninja with slightly dirty rather attention gathering waist length hair with a slightly worried expression scanning the street."Kasai.," he would mumble under his breath. "Are you going to get here soon or not?"

Kasai gazed at the wonder before him. Such a simple building, yet it was a library, and therefore, a stream of infinite knowledge. 
He walked up to it, wondering if this was where Makussu had gone to. Yet, what other place to go? Their friend had vanished out of thin air, no trace, no clue. Kasai had a few ideas, but they were but ideas.
Then, he saw Makussu, standing off to the side. There was something strange about all of this, Kasai felt. As if they were main characters in a ballad of a hero.
"Friend, I had a feeling. Here before the doors of the all knowing, would you stand. Yes, this is right," he said, gazing at the doors.
"Shall we begin our search for our friend? For here, I believe, fate has taken hold of us."
He gazed at the doors a moment longer, before glancing back to Makussu.
"I will follow your move, for we walk a path of destiny now, friend. The three heroes, it may one day be."

Makussu's eyes faded out of his thoughts and back into reality, seeing Kasai walk by while gazing at the library."Yeah, this would normally be where you would find me, it's where all my Jutsu come from, besides paper of course.," he responded to the first comment. Hearing his second little piece of dialogue he nodded. "Well then follow me, while I was thinking I think I may have gotten a lead. I once saw a book that detailed something that has all the symptoms of Tatsuya's dissapearance. I remember that I was browsing the water section out of pure boredom when I found this little catalogue of random Jutsu. It was mostly water, hence the categorization, but there was a few others that weren't, I can barely recall the details though...." At this point the group would be walking through the water style section, Makussu would be skimming his finger along the books for the correct author. Eventually he would sort of jump up showing a rather used looking thin book. Here it is! The ninja's useful jutsu! He would flip through the index and eventually found what he was looking for. Allowing the little happy dance he got from finally finding it he let himself settle back into the seriousness of the situation. Tatsuya could be in Tenga now, for all they know. "Ok Kasai, here's what it says, Makussu would say as he began to read aloud while leaning up against the heavy bookshelves, thankfully supporting his weight. " The summoning Jutsu can be used in order to summon a person, once whom has sworn allegiance of some sort to the summoner. When a person is summoned, they dissapear in poofs of smoke. Summons can also be forced onto through a mark seal, detailed on the next page." At this Makussu thought they might have hit a lead as he turned top age which had a strange little dot which was apparently a seal. "The Mark Seal is a former prison seal that was used to track inmates, now recently modified by ninjas in order to also be able to.......reverse summon them." Makussu gulped in a bit of air before continuing. It it applied through a brief bit a chakra causing a small dot to appear briefly before fading away." He would stop reading and turn to Kasai, hoping for a reaction or some sort of reaction before he continued, he didn't want to pursue a false lead after all.

Kasai followed Makussu into the library, taking in the splendor of it all. It would make sense that a person like him would practice here. Study around the pages, the books, the source of all knowing. It showed Kasai the contrast between them. How, it was here that Makussu would learn, where Kasai would simply stare at the sun for hours on end. It made sense, of course.
Then, Makussu picked up the book. Strange, that the only lead he had was from a book of water, the opposite element of Kasai. Perhaps it was irrelevant, but it was interesting, how, before such an element, stood two, wind and fire, each complementing each other.
Then, Makussu spoke of the mark seal. It seemed simple enough, until he mentioned the last part.
Fades away. Kasai's hand shot out, stopping Makussu from turning the page, if he tried. 
"Strange little dot. How simple it seems," Kasai begun to say, looking up to Makussu, the fire of intensity glowing in his eyes. "Centimeters in size, barley visible, though the wary may notice it. Letting off no chakra, and disappearing only seconds after its use, such a thing would go unnoticed by all... unless the subject happened to be gazing at the point it appeared, before it faded away.
"Strange then, is it not, that such a mark was used. Just as you described, on four members, all Genin, when they were gathered within the academy. Stranger yet, that it was done by a priest. However, perhaps even more strange; two of those four are missing. One, a small boy, Zachariah, new to the shinobi way. The other... An older boy. Strong in the shadows, and defending of nature. Tatsuya.
"Yet, strange as is, it may not be so..."Kasai paused here, staring at Makussu.
"For the mark was noticed by one. The fire within sensed it, noticed it, saw it, all before it faded, seemingly gone from existence. Though, the mark lays on me. Cast by the very priest who we saw just the past day."
Kasai breathed deeply, and then gazed at Makussu again.
"Friend, we may know where the shadows have gone, and perhaps the light of a fire may find him, sent with the speed of the wind."
Kasai nodded, waiting to hear what Makussu had to say. Certainly, this was Youka's doing. Kasai knew it know.

Makussu listened on as Kasai went through his large "poem", talking of some other he didn't know, and Tatsuya. What alarmed him though was the fact that Kasai was also marked as well. They needed a plan. "That does leave us with a problem, doesn't it?" Makussu would say while unconsciously he would begin to fidget as his thought process started. If we learn these Jutsu, we would be able to hopefully track one another and reverse summon from danger. Big problem is, that doesn't save Tatsuya from our friendly neighborhood homicidal priests unknown intentions." He stood there quiet for a few more seconds, the eventual plan coming to his head that he didn't like, bathe would have to deal with. "Ok, so let's be honest. You're probably going to get kidnapped. So if we learn something like the mark seal we'll be able to track each other through its prison purpose and with the summoning Jutsu we'll be able to get each other away from Youka. But the problem here, believe it or not, is actually Tatsuya. We aren't able to track him, won't be able to summon him either. He might not even be there when your summoned. So when you get summoned, I want you to reverse summon me there. I know it sounds suicidal, it is, but what other choice to we have? We'll bargain for him and worst comes to worst......were stuck with the guy for a while. Based on what I've gathered he's a rather strong person, someone we probably are no match for. So, let's put this plan into motion!" With that he would read aloud again from the text. "Ok, so to perform the mark seal we need to channel chakra into a really specific spot on the body, then push it onto another where it will just kind of sit there like a probe. I'm going to try on you first, stay still will you?" If Kasai complied Makussu would send generic chakra to his hands, compressing it harder than he ever had before even with the other natures, then placed it on Kasai's hand. He would then push it onto the back of Kasai's hand. He would then extend out his as well, an invitation to be marked as well.

"There is a chance...  A chance of another way..." Kasai said, his mind racing. "We can remove the mark ourselves, from our dear friend Tatsuya. Look around you. All it will take is time. 
"If Youka does not summon me, though I do not doubt your thought that he will, we may grow strong enough here."
"For look, my friend, all around us. Here, before you, you found the source of our friends vanishing. It is true then that, somewhere within this vast mountain of knowledge, there is also a way to undo such. Funinjutsu, I believe, the art of sealing. Though it may not match our chakra or elements, we find that, through enough study, we ourselves may understand it. The mark seal itself is quite basic;  we may be able to remove it ourselves, with practice."
Kasai thought to himself. It would take perhaps a year of studying the art of sealing in order to learn how to remove even the simplest of marks, but it was possible. 
"However, yes, for the time being, your plan stands. Each day, we will grow in power, and if the day Youka summons me comes, and we are powerful enough, then perhaps the marks can be removed."
Kasai stuck out his arm to Makussu, allowing him to place the mark seal upon him.
"I too fear the intentions of Youka, though I feel he will not kill us. Perhaps we are to be a trap. Either way, my friend, we have work ahead."
Kasai watched as the same small little mark appeared upon his skin, and then vanished after an instant. He wondered how long it would be until he too was summoned by Youka. Indeed, it was a strange thing, the entire process. He only hoped the three of them would survive in the end.

Needless to say, Makussu was screaming curse words all over the building and soon found himself on the pavement, book still in hand. Kasai was gone now too. That was a problem. Thing was, Kasai was now gone as well like something out of a horror movie. but that didn't matter. Makussu could feel His little probe if he focused hard enough (there is no specific range amount on mark seal) it felt faint nd distant, most likely meaning it was far away from the village. He was going to need to leave. But to be honest, he didnt really have a choice. Going at maximum speed and activating Shikigami no Mai to at least get him to the entrance of the village before having to stop, he had a mission. Find Kasai!
