Complacency is Death (P, NK) - Page 2 Empty Re: Complacency is Death (P, NK)

Wed Nov 26, 2014 3:01 am
As expected Tank would miss his attack because of Kenshin huge speed advantage and now Kenshin was taking advantage of Tank's vulnerability at the moment. With his right leg stretched upward and his left leg planted firmly in the ground Tank would let the earth spear jutsu release as it wasn't going to save him from being thrown off balance and it was taxing his chakra reserves very quickly. With a quick chop from Kenshin Tanks' knee would buckle and he would fall off to his right before rolling away from the direction Kenhsin had moved. His knee was a bit sore from the hit, but it wouldn't keep him from moving at full speed or performing any of his maneuvers. Rolling into a standing position and turning toward Kenshin and Kemuri he could see that Kenshin had countered Kemuri as well, but Kemuri was smart enough to utilize his smoke transformation and throw two shuriken at Kenshin to keep him on the defensive. To Tank's surprise however that wasn't all Kemuri did he also performed a jutsu that was tuning the concrete floor into mud. How he was doing it he didn't know, but what he did know was that Kemuri had jutsu that would compliment this very well. Deciding he wanted to get in on this ninjutsu assault Tank thought quickly and remembered that Kemuri's jutsu was easier for him to perform with all the water that was on the training field back in Konoha. Remembering this Tank decided he would add a bit of water to this mud jutsu. Performing the required hand seals dragon - tiger - hare and raised his hands up to his mouth as if he were going to play a trumpet. A gushing stream of water rushed from his mouth, (35 speed and power) but it didn't head for Kenshin it was directed toward the mud being created on the floor. Mixing with and increasing the amount of mud being created and making it more liquid like for easier manipulation the justu would end there would be a rather large pool of mud between where Tank and Kemuri were standing and where Kenshin was standing. Now it was Kemuri's turn to finish the combination before Kenshin had a chance to strike and make this effort completely useless.

Complacency is Death (P, NK) - Page 2 Empty Re: Complacency is Death (P, NK)

Wed Nov 26, 2014 1:12 pm
Acknowledging Kemuri as he threw the shuriken at him he would still keep a careful eye on Tank as well, deciding that simply dodging the shuriken or deflecting them would be his best option he would react quickly and lower his body. Reaching behind his back very quickly to grip a kunai in his pouch he would bring his hand forward in a long arching slash to quickly deflect both of the shuriken in one swift movement, trying to leave little openings. It was then that he watched Kemuri performing his handseals, causing the very floor to melt away into a torrent of mud, something that likely wouldn't cause damage but instead merely be an annoyance if it hit. It was then of course only moments after the mud came towards him that Tank would follow it up with a water style ninjutsu to boost the intensity of the mud, obviously making it more dangerous than before. With a scowl on his face he decided that diverting the mud was his only option remaining and quickly clapping his hands together and slamming them on the floor a pillar of concrete would rise, exactly five meters wide and one meter long, basically creating a wall that blocked the mud from getting to him. Not wanting to be caught off guard due to his lack of sight on the two of them he would rapidly move backards, trying to create ten meters of space between him and the wall. Sadly it was time for Kenshin to unleash the full extent of his strength on the two others and forming the tiger seal he would quickly inhale a large amount of air. His head jerking forward his lips would part to expel a giant torrent of flames, easily large enough to encompass the entire room ahead of him within mere moments, much too quick for either of them to avoid it in time unless added by some type of technique. The flames rushing forward they would swarm around the wall that he had created and begin flowing towards Tank and Kemuri and within a matter of moments it would wash over them with extremely intense heat before slamming against the glass windows that were placed everywhere, almost like wall causing them to crack and bust. The flames bellowing out from the top floor of the tower with great speed and power, the roar of flames easily being heard even down at street level as the smoke would drift into the sky.

It was by this point that Kenshin had already exited the the room and proceeded to the roof of the tower where he would simply stand and wait for his opponents to emerge so that they could continue their fight in a more suited area for combat at such a level as this.

Complacency is Death (P, NK) - Page 2 Empty Re: Complacency is Death (P, NK)

Kemuri stood roughly in the middle of the room watching carefully as Kenshin deflected both of the shuriken he threw. Since both of the shuriken were deflected presumably to the ground, they ended up getting caught in the current of mud that Kemuri had begun to flow towards Kenshin before Tank himself performed the water trumpet on his mud, increasing the speed and power of it. Kemuri hadn't thought of this aspect of the jutsu until Tank had done it before his eyes, making note of the fact that water jutsu seemed to make the jutsu itself more powerful. As Kenshin rose a wall in front of himself, the mud would in fact be halted, smacking against the wall and making a rather loud noise from it before stopping in it's tracks, settling to form a small area in which the mud would sit for the time being. Knowing that he should always have his eyes on Kenshin during combat, Kemuri quickly jumped as far to the side of the pillar as he could in Tank's direction to see what exactly it was that he was trying to do, landing and seeing that Kenshin were breathing in a rather large amount of air while holding the tiger seal in his hands. This wasn't something that Kemuri was ignorant on; he knew that this was in fact going to be a jutsu, and likely one to deal with breathing fire from his mouth since that seemed to be his favorite type of attack with them. Jumping back over towards tank nearly instantly after he saw this, Kemuri landed just in front of him and begun to perform several seals before he saw a massive inferno of flames begin to head in his direction around the wall Kenshin had put up.

Placing his right hand to his mouth, Kemuri spat out a huge quantity of water that struck the ground hard and instantly made it's way around him in a circle, just large enough to fit Tank behind him inside of it, though his back would be touching the water. The water now in a circle at the base of their feet shot up quickly to the ceiling, striking it with force before stopping, the room having water flowing just about everywhere on it's floor by now, except of course where the fire was. The flames of Kenshin's great fire annihilation would strike the water wall on all sides, having no effect whatsoever on it and keeping both Tank and himself safe and away from the flames. After the sounds of the fire had receeded, Kemuri let the water fall from around them and practically flood the room, causing a bit of discomfort as they had to wade around in heel height water for the rest of their time in there. Looking around, Kemuri saw that Kenshin was nowhere to be found, and thus made his way to the window from which he had entered earlier. Peering out the window, he would see Kenshin climbing up to the roof, clearly wanting to continue the battle in a more open area. Looking back towards Tank, Kemuri would point out the window upwards. "He went to the roof." He said before promptly going out the window himself and doing the same, climbing up the side of the building with the surface walking technique until he came over the ledge of the roof where he once again got into a battle position.

Waiting on Tank to come up to the roof with them, Kemuri stood and watched Kenshin so as to make sure he didn't launch another attack before Tank was up and ready to fight alongside him again. He knew he didn't stand much of a chance against Kenshin alone, and he very much intended on having a partner with him to battle with him, especially since Tank complimented himself so well, making up for his lack in physical strength by having just that.

Complacency is Death (P, NK) - Page 2 Empty Re: Complacency is Death (P, NK)

Wed Nov 26, 2014 4:57 pm
It appeared to Tank that not only did his water trumpet jutsu make the mud easier to maneuver, but increased the speed and power of the mud flow. This was indeed something they could use later and perhaps even turn into a devastating combination during a real life or death confrontation. As the mud flow was rushing toward Kenshin a simple clap and placing his hands on the floor was all it took to halt the jutsu. It seems like maybe this combination wasn't as powerful as Tank had thought it was. A moving earth core jutsu could so easily stop the torrent of mud that had been rushing across the floor, yet it made since to Tank as it had cut off the pathway that the mud had. Now there was a different problem though. Kenshin was out of sight and that was even worse than him stopping their attack. Seeing as Kemuri moved in a direction so he could see around the wall that is exactly what Tank would do as well. He did it quite a bit slower though and as a result didn't get there until there was already flames being spewed from Kenshin's mouth. He knew he didn't have the speed to escape the flames in time and he didn't have a jutsu that could stop the flames either. What was he supposed to do? Then Kemuri jumped in front of him and performed his hand seals before spitting out a a large amount of water that went from the floor to the ceiling and all the way around both of them, barely touching Tank's back. It seemed this wall of water was strong enough to stop all of Kenshin's flames because Tank couldn't even feel the heat from them inside this fortress of water.

Once the water was released and all the water came crashing down to the floor it flooded the entire training room floor and left Tank with his feet soaking in water. While keeping Tank and Kemuri alive this water wall did give Kenshin a chance escape out of the room. He was nowhere to be seen and Tank had no idea where he had gone. Looking around quickly before seeing Kemuri look out the window and up. Tank would hear Kemuri speak and Knew this spar had only begun if Kenshin intended on taking it up to the roof of this building. Running toward the window that Kemuri had walked out of and began ascending with his surface walking technique. Following along behind Kemuro Tank began thinking of anything he could use to try and get Kenshin off balance and on the defensive so that either he or Kemuri could land a strike and win this spar. Coming up with something as he reached the roof with Kemuri Tank would walk in front of Kemuri completely blocking him from Kenshin's view with his massive size and take his fighting stance before saying "Follow my lead." He didn't say anything specific because Kenshin would have heard it, but Tank had confidence that Kemuri would be able come up with what to do on the fly. Tank would rush forward toward Kenshin and burst chakra through his body and move faster than he was normally capable of (68 speed) until he was about two meters infront of Kenshin. Kenshin of course knew of this technique and would most like think of a rather easy way to counter any normal taijutsu technique Tank would throw at him. However the technique he was about to use was something he knew Kenshin had never seen before and most likely wouldn't know how to counter as easily. As Tank slowed down to his normal top speed he would go straight into his human boulder technique. His body inflated to nearly five times it's normal size and rounded out like a large boulder. Tank's head, arms, and legs would be engulfed by this transformation making completely round and rolling toward Kenshin at full speed and strength ready to roll right over him if he was hit by the technique. Complacency is Death (P, NK) - Page 2 Empty Re: Complacency is Death (P, NK)

Watching as the two of them arrived on the roof Kenshin would smirk as if he was thrilled by the fact that they both could make it out of such an attack with no damage done. His stance remaining mostly relaxed for now he would simply wait for them to make their move, Tank being the first one to do so. Seeing his sudden burst of speed it wasn't difficult to follow or very surprising but what followed did. As Tank began slowing down his body would suddenly enlarge, taking a much more rounded spherical shape as he began rolling towards him at a somewhat impressive pace as usually Tank was not capable of anything near this. Kenshin's eyes growing wide he would plant his feet firmly into the ground and extend both of his arms forward with open palms towards Tank. The skin on his entire body turning a visibly much darker color as his hands made contact with the rapidly rotating man, his hands skidding on his body as he quickly began slowing his rotation (85 strength, 91 health). Only taking a few moments to bring him to a complete stop Kenshin would simply hold Tank in place with his right hand as he brought his left hand rather far back, clenching it into a fist before that arm specifically turned back to its usual tint to soften the blow on Tank's body as he struck him with the fist. Hopefully only knocking him backwards a slight distance to create space he would immediately turn his attention to Kemuri. His head quickly swiveling back and forth as he searched for the boy to try and keep him within sight after Tank's short lived distraction. It was at this point that Kenshin's entire body would return to its normal color and he would form a single rat handseal and hold it, obviously preparing some kind of jutsu.

Complacency is Death (P, NK) - Page 2 Empty Re: Complacency is Death (P, NK)

Wed Nov 26, 2014 6:09 pm
Watching as Tank came up the side of the building, Kemuri was of course glad to see him. Were he to have fallen or something then... well he would be disappointed in Tank to say the least. Looking back towards Kenshin, he would begin to move forward towards him until he noticed that Tank sped past him, closing the gap fairly quickly. It was good thinking on Tank's part to get into close combat with Kenshin, as he was at least as strong as he was and surely was more durable given his hulking figure, Kemuri figured, even though this was actually incorrect in both fields. Then something strange happened to Tank. It looked to him as though Tank had just begun to bloat to unbelievable proportions, his head and limbs essentially completely disappeared in the what Kemuri assumed was fat. Figuring he may as well take advantage of this opportunity, he rapidly begun to perform several seals; Ram, horse, dragon, before the ground several meters behind Kenshin begun to raise from the ground and form the head of a dragon, several bullet shaped mud balls coming out of it's mouth towards Kenshin's back (50 speed and power). Hopefully he were unaware of this attack from Tank's attempted attack and would be struck by at least some of them, though if he happened to get out of the way it was quite possible they would be striking Tank instead. Thinking of this just after he performed the jutsu, Kemuri figured he wasn't exactly the best partner to have in battle given how many times he had done attacks that had just as much a chance of striking his partners as the enemy. Regardless of how well he used the positioning of the jutsu to strike both Kenshin and Tank, he continued on with the battle, having a rather good idea the moment after the dragon begun to shoot out balls of mud at Kenshin.

Once again performing three hand seals, Kemuri begun to flow his chakra into the ground in the direction of Kenshin and Tank, but this time stopping it just between the two as the ground between them rose up to the sky to both separate them and form a barrier for the inevitable missed or dodged mud balls that Kenshin had coming towards him. The wall would rather easily hold off the strikes of the mud balls as well as preventing Kenshin from striking Tank assuming he did continue with the motion. Luckily he had deactivated earth spear in an attempt to give Tank a break in his attack, otherwise he would have caused quite a lot of damage to the wall, leaving it to possibly break from the strikes of the mud balls.

Complacency is Death (P, NK) - Page 2 Empty Re: Complacency is Death (P, NK)

As Tank rotated in his human boulder form he could feel that he was being stopped by Kenshin. It felt as if he were rubbing himself against stone. This gave away how Kenshin had managed to stop his attack. It was a justu that Kenshin taught to Tank and it made the user much stronger than they normally would be. Knowing he was being stopped and assuming Kenshin would most likely strike him Tank reverted back to his normal form and attempted to move himself away from Kenshin so he wasn't struck by the punch that was on its way. Luckily Kemuri had done as he knew he would have and was assaulting Kenshin from behind with his dragon bullet jutsu and raising an earth wall in between Tank and Kenshin to stop Kenshin from hitting Tank. Watching the wall raise between them Tank would jump backward. It was a very good move and one that would save Tank some damage and hopefully deal a bit of damage to Kenshin. Seeing as how there was now a rather large earth wall between Tank and Kenshin he needed to get back to where Kemuri was and get ready for another attack. Once he reached Kemuri's side he would see a good amount of dirt raising up from the side Kenshin was on. He couldn't tell if the attack had hit Kenshin or not, but the attack definitely had some pwer to it based on the sound it made and the amount of debris rising from whatever the jutsu had struck. They had manged to stay in this fight as long as they had by keeping Kenshin on the defensive and they needed to keep that up if they planned on winning. Once Tank reached Kemuri he would say "Nice move." and then take his fighting stance again waiting for whatever would happen next as he currently couldn't see Kenshin and still hadn't gotten the sensing of other shinobi's chakra down. Tank's eyes would be wide open and watching the edges of the wall for any sort of movement. If he saw any sort of movement then Tank would move to intercept it and stop it so Kemuri could make a counter attack and finish this spar.

Complacency is Death (P, NK) - Page 2 Empty Re: Complacency is Death (P, NK)

Watching as Tank reverted to his normal form he would simply proceed with the cocking back of his fist. Sadly however Kenshin's attention was averted from Tank as he was struck in the back by several physical constructs, sliding him forward a bit but still not taking damage. A bit annoyed with the whole ordeal he would watch as an earth wall was raised between him and Tank making him unable to see where he was and thus unable to strike him. His body simply tanking the blows from Kemuri's jutsu he would turn to face where he was being attacked from, taking the final volley of high speed mud. A large cloud of dust currently enveloping his whole body he would slowly step out with no signs of physical injury, revealing himself to both of his opponents before his skins colored turned back to normal. His stance being somewhat relaxed he would simply raise his hands just above his head. "Alright, you guys can have this one, not really in the mood to keep going anymore" he spoke as he slowly lowered his hands. "I'm actually gonna go if thats okay with both of you, got stuff to do, I guess". With that said Kenshin would slowly walk to the edge of the roof top and focus chakra into the soles of his feet as he began walking down, not even bothering to look back. It may seem odd that Kenshin's attitude for sparring them suddenly changed but nothing really of note. Returning to ground level Kenshin would stick his hands in his pockets and begin walking down the road before stepping inside a small diner, the same one he had visited before.

Complacency is Death (P, NK) - Page 2 Empty Re: Complacency is Death (P, NK)

Wed Nov 26, 2014 7:56 pm
Seeing as tank had made his way back to Kemuri and the sounds of the mud balls striking things was happening, Kemuri figured that he struck something, and hopefully that something just happened to be Kenshin. Watching carefully as the dust was kicked up by pretty much everything that were happening, he would see that Kenshin were walking out of the debris around the wall he had just created and telling them that he was done with the battle. Looking towards Tank as Kenshin made his way down the skyscraper he would put one hand behind his head, scratching it in slight confusion. "Well, I guess we're done. I might as well get to doing some other stuff anyway." He said, looking around at the edges of the building "I'm sure we'll be doing something later.". Just as Kenshin had, Kemuri made his way to the edge of the building and begun to walk down the side of it to ground level where he would continue down the road. Coming across a diner, he would see a familiar head of hair sitting at one of the seats inside through a window, but of course would assume that it were someone else, as Kenshin surely wasn't the only one with that long of hair. Though if it did happen to be him, it probably meant that he had gotten bored rather than actually having things to do. Disregarding the stranger with identical hair to Kenshin, Kemuri would make his way down the road and roughly out of the village, stopped just before reaching the gates by a messenger. Taking the letter and opening it to reveal Youka desired his presence, he would continue on his path outside of the village, rather than just walking about making his way to the point at which Youka asked them to go. Hopefully it wouldn't have anything to do with fighting Kenshin or Tank, as he really didn't want to be battling them nearly to death as Youka was sure to want of them.
