Re: Messages (Priv/Kira)

Kiru concentrated hard, feeling the chakra all around him. As usual, when he concentrated the wind would pick up, even in this large, door less cave. It was always if Kiru brought the wind along with him wherever he went. He glowed slightly from effort, a small silver aura that outlined his features. It used to be a base blue, if Kira remembered. His seal had opened him up though to many new possibilities. Possibilities of life and power. Even now as he weaved the seals taught to him by his sensei, the power he exuded could be felt all around him. The air wouldn't rush around him though as he gained power, instead it was like a gentle breeze that flowed off him. His chakra began to look similar to a rainy cloud, taking the same appearance as it did when he first learned water style. He knew he had to be a literal oasis of calm. To keep his calm, and his chakra would reflect it like the water he tried to make appear. It extended from him, Kiru pushing it outward. He would have to use the moisture in the air, as well as his cool and watery chakra to make the cloud form. He breathed deeply, in threw his mouth, and out threw his mouth. He let the cold sensation of the chakra wash over his body. It started in his feet, slowly rising as he pushed the power, the feeling of water slowly, ever so slowly, rising. His chakra would begin to glow brighter at his feet as this happened, and he imagined it was a slowly filling pool, that he would overturn in the very skies. The pool had reached his ankles, feeling as if he had stepped in a deep puddle, but not quite cold enough to be a discomfort. It was like a familiar pool he had swam in on a daily basis, that slowly beckoned to him, calling him ever deeper into its cold waters. He thought, perhaps that was who he was now. A pool of energy, that must remain ever calm. People would become familiar with him, and drawn to that power, and he could use that to meet his goals. Even if he had to be colder, and harsh like the waves breaking on a cliff. He couldn't always be the calm gentle waves that hit a beach, sometimes he would have to be a powerful storm, raging and destroying those that got in the way of his path. He had to complete his goal, and he would save every life he could. He also had to realize that every life couldn't be saved. Some lights would dim as the storm hit, and others would go out. But eventually, when the calm ocean returned, some would be brighter then before. Bright enough to warn people away from the storm, so his path would only destroy those that needed to be removed. A storm of righteous fury, that looked down on the deaths of thousands, but was capable of causing it should it be pushed.
The chakra at his ankles was currently still like the calm beach, slowly rising like the tide. The chakra was a heavy force to hold and keep down, and he couldn't let it overwhelm him. It wasn't easy to keep the power down. This was a high level jutsu he was trying to control the flow of the ocean that was rising up his legs. It was likely that this storm would give him enough water to power many jutsu of the water style, should he be able to keep it from overflowing him.He concentrated hard, the sweat forming on his forehead was cold, and the chakra at his knees was bright as he formed it, slowly rising. He gritted his teeth, having a hard time controlling such power. He wasnt sure he could quite keep up with it, but with Kira watching he had to do his best. Failure would likely be met with disdain, and he didn't want to meet that weapon or its emotion. He knew Kira held no ill will towards him, but that didn't mean he shouldn't be wary of her. She was pretty powerful in her own right, and was a danger to mess with. She was his biggest ally in this quest, even if she was fighting against one who had been one of her great friends. He was sad that she had to do something like that, and if she was right about Ice, he likely would have had to do the same to his friend. Though he considered Youka considerably more dangerous then Ice could have dreamed of being. The power to destroy an entire village all by himself was not something to be taken lightly, and Kiru would need a lot of power to defend against such a thing. He felt constricted as the water reached his waist, like he was being pulled under an intense whirpool. He focused on breathing, in and out, in and out. He couldn't let it overwhelm him now. He had to at least get close. Kira would notice a small cloud forming over Kiru as his chakra slowly rose up his waist. His breathing became a bit labored as his chakra began pressuring his abdomen, causing a bit of pain for the boy. He tried to push past it, but it was pretty difficult. The chakra began to heavily constrict his abdomen, and Kiru realized he couldn't keep it up for much longer, or the pressure of creating enough water for a storm would literally crush him. He tried to force it outwards, but it was difficult to fight against himself. It was like trying to inhale and exhale at exactly the same time, which was, as far as he knew impossible. His chakra managed to reach his chest, but its power was waning. Kiru tried to push it farther, but it began to drop as his chakra could go no further, The cloud disappeared, and Kiru sighed heavily at the failure.
Maybe, if he tried a little harder he could actually get it. He concentrated chakra at his feet again, breathing slowly as he once again pushed it upwards, the feeling of water and flowing rivers filled him. He grit his teeth once more, pushing it farther and faster, his feet caught in a silver glow like that of a rain cloud. He tried to push the chakra faster and faster, like a flowing river, attempting to push it faster then it could gain pressure. It was a difficult task, but he tried his hardest, pushing it with all his force. It rose up his ankles at a quick pace, and the rain cloud appeared above his head once more. It was a difficult task, but he was slowly getting it. His body wasn't responding as harshly as it was before, and he just needed to push himself alittle farther. He needed to show Kira he was worth teaching, worth being leader. He needed to show her why he felt he could stand with her to face Youka and any with him. He wanted to become powerful enough to face any enemy with confidence, and defeat them quickly and efficiently. His sword skills needed to be on a level above hers, and his ninjutsu needed to be on par. He couldn't just be backup, he had to be one of the main force, pushing through the front lines, batting away enemies like paper dolls. He let the feelings flow through him, the cloud above him growing greater then before as he pushed himself past his usual limits. His chakra was almost white the way he concentrated it, and was quickly rising to his waste. The pressure wasn't as bad anymore, and he felt he just needed a little further, just a little further to get to the front line of this task. The first drops of rain fell from the cloud, not a heavy flow but enough for Kira to slowly sense the world around him. He was almost there, almost to the finish line. The chakra rose up his chest, but once it reached his heart the pressure came back, heavier then before. He was exhausted, and didn't think he could push past it without a short rest. He tried, with all his might to complete the jutsu, but the pressure just greatened as his chakra thinned out. With the rain falling he could still feel the are around him. The dragons who had gathered to watch him train, and Kira watching him, waiting for him to succeed. This technique was amazing from just what he could sense. Even at this level, he could perceive the area around him at a great level, and that if combined with his seal would make him a dangerous opponent. He managed to push it just a little farther, almost to his neck, but the pressure became too great and he dropped the technique with a loud breath. Taking a small break for any tips from Kira before trying again.

This was taking...well...Forever. She shook her head watching for a few more moments. This boy definitely didn't learn as quickly as she did, she thought to herself. "As usual...I know a good way to assist in speeding this up." She spoke, her lips curling into a smile that actually seemed a bit terrifying. She moved forward quickly, preparing for another session of beat it into him, where, the game show where the teacher beat her student senseless until he used the technique to protect himself...At which point he got a small break before being taught a new technique or the beatings continued and oh....would the beatings continue until moral was at 100%.
She closed her eyes, allowing the rain to guide her movements as she got within melee range, deciding not to begin using jutsu until it was necisary. She would start with a string of punches that would pepper his chest unless he blocked or moved, eight total of varying strike points aimed with deadly speed and accuracy. From there she would duck down, sweeping his leg before sending a fast heavy kick directly upward with the intention of sending him airborn.

Kiru let out a short breath as Kira came at him. He expected this sort of behaviour from her during training, so it wasn't as if he was unprepared. He jumped backwards, dodging each strike as it came with lightning quickness. He wouldn't fall now, and he would get this technique down this time. No way would he be stopped again from saving what was important to him. Next time, he would fight beside Kira with all his strength. He preformed the handseals for Rain Tiger at Will, and began pouring the chakra into his body. Having already been stressed from the outburst before, he was able to do it much quicker this time, and he felt a lot more confidence in his technique. The raging ocean that flowed past his feet rose quicker then before, causing a stormy cloud to appear above him, followed by some light gusts of wind, making the technique into a slight storm. He momentarily wondered if this technique could be used for a thunder storm, but considering his ineptitude with lightning chakra, he didn't see it happening. The ocean of chakra quickly, quickly rose faster and the cloud grew with strength and power, a torrential downpour falling on the woman. Kiru would smile thinly as he could sense just about every move she made as if he knew she was doing it in slow motion. He knew her speed could immensly increase, but he felt he could be confident in this new skill for at least a little bit. Kiru was quickly liking this jutsu, and was considering its uses. He felt it would be a good way for him to announce his presents on a battlefield at least. Kira's rain tiger jutsu felt a little different then his own, as if he couldn't use its rain for his own purposes, which he could understand with it being all her chakra. Kiru's rain came out more as a silver water, shining in the light rather then the normal blue it should be. He smiled, and enjoyed that fact, and wondered if he could also make it snow for his own uniqueness. He wouldn't worry about it now, as he figured Kira would show him a new jutsu, but in the meantime, he began spiraling chakra in his fist, attempting to create the rasengan once more. The silver rain seemed to flow around it in a ball, and Kiru managed to get a slight silver shape to appear. It was nearly as powerful as he would like, but it was a start. Infusing a bit more chakra, the ball rotated faster and faster. The rain was now either spinning around it, or being pushed away by the mass of chakra. Kiru concentrated a little harder, increasing the rotation speed and trying to make it more dense, but it was pretty hard to keep in the same formation. He frowned and kept at it, spinning and spinning it the best he could. He knew if he could complete it, he would be that much closer to having another powerful jutsu at his hands.
Concentrating harder, the ball picked up a little more speed as well as Kiru's natural chakra. It was a small silver orb, rotating at high speeds and quick velocities. If he could keep it stable when he moved it would likely tear through flesh and bone with ease, and was also an easy jutsu to increase in power with other elements. He knew of the rasenshuriken as one, though it was a dangerous technique that Kiru was still working out how to properly use. He knew he had to be able to learn the base rasengan, as well as be able to combine it with his wind chakra. That part shouldn't be particularly hard, as he had gotten pretty good at using and maintaining wind jutsu, and was slowly but surely mastering water style. He had no idea what other affinities he may have, as he hadn't tested anything else other then learning water through sheer force of will. He knew there were some in the world with up to five nature transformations, and were likely regarded as legendary ninja. He believed Echo may be one of these but he wasn't sure. Kiru had been attempting to copy whatever the man had done to increase his power with that cloak of chakra, but knew he would need to integrate his seal more deeply in his system for anything like that. The ball in his hand spun rapidly, picking up more and more speed as Kiru focused on it. The rain around him slightly began to swirl along with the rest of Kiru's chakra, which was slightly amusing to him. The ball was beginning to feel a bit heavy, and he imagined this was due to his unfamiliarity with the technique. He knew he could do it, as he could usually form the ball just fine, it just tended to break whenever he slammed it into anything. Though the one time he had beaten Kira in a spar it had been pretty instrumental, even half finished as it was. Combined with his daggers for high movement, Kiru knew it was a valuable technique to know, but he feared he wasn't going to get it this try, as the ball became too dense and heavy to be useful. Drpping the technique, he sighed and prepared for whatever Kira tried to teach him next. He was slightly hoping for shadow clones, due to their usefulness for recon and such. He had thought of his own varient, but so far he hadn't come up with a viable method for improving on any design, as he didn't know how to do any of the better clone jutsu anyway. Even his student Kuro had surpassed him at that, with his water clones being a significantly useful part of his repertoire, and Kiru was pretty proud at the potential the boy himself had. Returning to the task at hand, he prepared for his next instructions.

He jumped back once more, and the look in her eyes shifted for a split second to one of true hatred. He was running as usual, she thought to herself followed by selene's voice slipping I to her mind. She didn't allow the words to actually pierce her understanding, though the general statement was understood. Blah blah kiru blah friend blah blah blah something dealing with responsibility blah blah blah Youka. The final word caught in her mind for a moment and she thought back to the Boy she'd met in the caverns. Had that really been her that calmly relinquished him of his equipment and money and then vanished I to thin air? Perhaps. She had more important thoughts to worry about now.
"Since you're so intent on running away perhaps next we should do something more long ranged... Keep up child from here things get interesting. The cloak flowed across her body quickly, making her seem to fade out into the darkness around them caused by the twin storms that poured water across the battlefield and then she formed a half tiger seal, holding it out so that he could see it. "Half tiger" she spoke, and then the water seemed to stop in mid air, funneling itself into tiny little needles about six inches long and half an inch wide. When the technique was finished, which happened in time with her once more rushing forward to attack him with taijutsu, there would be fifty formed in the area surrounding both of them, tips aimed downward poised to strike. When she was within range she ducked down once more, dropping her stance low to sweep his leg, her body sliding across the wet sand as she did. Her momentum would stop as her back was turned to him, her arms reaching backwards to perform a handspring that got her easilly back to her feet, set to land just on the other side of him. Her feet but into the ground below her, stopping her momentum and she sent that stopping force his way with a powerful side kick aimed at the base of his spine, studying his body through the rain every step of the way, waiting for him to act so she could respond accordingly.

Kiru gave a rather confident smirk as she rushed at him,. the rain pouring down his frame, letting the small coat of chakra around his coat be seen for a second. He wasn't running, it was more of a tactical retreat, specially considering the jutsu he was making was not a combat jutsu but a supplementary one. Shaking his head he preformed the seal that she asked for, or had shown him. He had just a few seconds to make some kind of progress, and he felt that he was at least a little qualified to do this well. The chakra formed easily around him, and he knew he needed to concentrate on the individual raindrops around him. He knew he could escape the needles she had formed around them, mainly because he knew his own strength in his base speed. He collected the chakra in his body and sent it in waves outward, attempting to make it sharp and dangerous. It was a dangerous game she played, getting ever closer. Simply rushing at a target was a little dangerous without a backup plan, but her style of fighting nearly required it. The points of the water droplets became sharper, and he rotated them like he would a rasengan, trying to use the spiraling to make them even sharper. It was a difficult task, and he had to be very meticulous and careful about it. The woman got closer, ever prepared to launch into a series of attacks at several angles, all of which Kiru would like to avoid, using this jutsu or not. Concentrating harder, and creating a larger outpouring of chakra, the needles sharpened farther, and seemed to become increasingly more powerful, with a few more forming. He couldn't tell if he was sweating or if he was just drenched from the rain, but it didn't really matter. He would succeed in this technique without failure, and stop whatever it was Kira was going to attempt with her Taijutsu skills. He sort of wondered how she had gotten so good, and that perhaps he should meet her teacher. Though thinking on it, if her teacher was alive he likely would have met him or her by now, so it probably was a bad question to ask. The moment for Kiru needing to act was quickly arriving, and he spiraled his needles ever faster, increasing their speed ten fold to make them sharper and quicker. This jutsu wasn't that difficult, he just had to preform it as well as dodge Kira from her quick and dangerous attacks. Though she hadn't quite reached him yet, he could assume whatever she had planned would be devastating, and he wanted no part of it. Getting hit by her was not something he enjoyed very much, and he actively tried to avoid it at all costs. The neddles all had dangerous points on them now, and there were a great many of them, though Kiru had been so concentrated on the task at hand he hadn't quite been counting.
She had reached him, preforming a sweep kick he didn't have too much trouble backing from him. But then she was hand springing over him in an arc, that he could feel with every drop of rain. Not wanting her to get behind him, and knowing that there was no such thing as being braced once air born, he would clap his hands together, preforming gale palm, which would knock her several feet backwards behind Kiru and give him time to spin on his heel to watch her, and preform the seals for the needle jutsu once more, reforming the ones he had lost during his gale palm jutsu. It was now just a task of keeping an eye on the needles above him as well as Kira so he wouldn't be caught off guard by either. He had about twenty needles formed and ready, although they werent quite finished. They were sharp, but they dripped water, and weren't super needle like, having a bigger base that led into the needle point. He attempted to flatten the end, though it was pretty difficult to do so. Controlling these needles took quite some chakra control, due to the size and sharpness of each. Perhaps it was due to his high chakra levels he was having this problem. He just needed to concentrate harder he supposed, though he wasn't sure how long it would take for Kira to come up with a counter attack so he had to be wary of any move she made. He manged to get the needles to a slightly finer point, but there was still the issue of them leaking. He didn't imagine that it was a heavy fix, it was probably due to the uneven levels of chakra along each piece. If he lowered the number of needles they would likely come out better, but he didn't want to stop while he was doing so good. He increased the rotation of the needles to a quicker rate, and the dripping water seemed to mostly stop, but it still wasn't quite helping. The silver rain around him was still falling in a torrential pace, and seemed to make Kiru glow, though he was sending his chakra more outwards then inwards. He supposed that he should use the technique as it was while Kira was still recovering so that he would have a chance to do it better next time. Concentrating on the path he wanted them to follow, they fling at Kira while she was still being knocked through the air. They weren't powerful enough to do any real piercing damage, but she would still feel the improvement he had on the technique as it hit. Kiru would then get in a battling stance and prepare for her next assault. He knew he had to get this technique next time without fail, which shouldn't be hard provided Kira didn't do anything over the top like she was known for. He at least would leave this with two jutsu at best.
Concentrating, he would prepare his next set of needles, each of them looking like silver senbon suspended in the air. Kiru wasn't going to fire them till they were perfected, or he had to dodge the technique that Kira would activate. The needles would form, rising from Kiru and spinning rapidly, less weak looking then the ones he had formed initially. He was improving at an extended pace, and wondered if perhaps he should learn some more wind jutsu now that he had the chance at it. Suiton was good but it wasn't his main element, even if he was showing a particular talent with some of these higher ranked jutsu. He knew he had to impress Kira, and hoped she would see he was working hard to be her equal in strength so that they could lead together without issue. As he thought this, his senbon would form above him in a pattern reminiscent of the emblem of their group, and he smiled at the control he managed to have with it. This jutsu wasn't particularly hard, it just required a ton of control, which he wasn't always super great at. He waited for Kira's next move, whether he had to dodge the needles above him, or the woman teaching him. If any of their recruits were here, he wondered if they would be impressed with the skills of their leaders, the power of their techniques and the speed at which they preformed them. Kiru knew he had to raise an excellent team, and he had to become strong enough to lead them efficiently and with impressive ability. He had the backing of some of the villages, or at least they were interested, but he knew that this team itself had to participate in this war to a great degree. It was personal for Kira and him, and he had to stop Youka at whatever the cost. He needed people loyal to him and Kira exclusively, and trained to a great degree, to match whatever allies Youka had. Though Kiru couldn't imagine what kind of people would follow the mad man. He was known as the demon for a reason, and Kiru didn't find that he would ever enjoy being near the man, and couldn't imagine following him into battle. Those that did were either crazier then the demon himself, or just easily controlled. Kira had been one of those for a long time, and he wasn't positive she had broken fully from Youka's grip. He didn't want to question her loyalty to stopping the man, but he knew that having a friend for so long could change a person. They had been through a lot together, that much he could guess. He had no idea what had changed the man to a demon capable of such destruction, but knew he had to stop him. Kiru used these emotions to bolster the power in his jutsu, causing the silver needles to glow a bit with Kiru's chakra, and were nearly perfect. With just a little more effort they would be complete.
He counted about thirty prepared, and concentrated on forming more and more. Kira had made around fifty and he had to match that number the best he could. Creating them wasn't hard but controlling that many objects at once was a little difficult, and he was finding a slight issue continually forming them. He had to push past his limits, and concentrate all his will on forming the technique. More needles appeared, and the technique looked just about perfected, with Kiru breathing a little hard with the strained effort of using the technique for the first time, and using it correctly too. The needles hung in the air, shining under the storm cloud and the rain, looking pointed and dangerous. He was prepared to use them against kira's needles if need be, or Kira if she rushed at him before showing another technique. These water jutsu took a lot of effort to create, but he was getting them pretty simply once he figured out the flaws he was causing in each of them. He focused on the rain around him, waiting and prepared for any sort of attack. Kira wouldn't take him unawares, and he wouldn't be snuck up on. Granted he was facing her so it would be rather extraordinary for her to be fast enough to get behind him without him noticing something between his senses and the rain itself.

Thousand Needles {1,750/1,750}
"Tsk," the sound left her lips as he backed up, forcing her to change her attack patern significantly. Instead of vaulting off of her hands to float through the air ahe allowed her feet to touch down, seeming to not make a sound against the wet earth thanks to her skill in cradling her own movements. She thought back to the days she's spent free running, or doing parkor as Amber always called it. She knew it would be helpful but once she'd learned demon style it became all too apparent how helpful it was. For a moment her back arched downward, seemingly to further displace her momentum, as kiru was still trying to form his jutsu. Her hands dropped to her side and her eyes began to flow with a strange black light. This was her demon style, or more so ambers. The moment the fighting style activated she continued her downward momentum, rolling forward. Her feet acted like a spring to quickly push off, continuing her momentum without losing a step, moving at her full speed of eighty one. She finished closing the distance completing A devistating sequence of attacks beginning with a spinning kick with her back leg, followed by a second kick with her lead. She almost seemed to be gliding on air as she performed the sequence, striking seven times with punches that would pepper his chest leaving deep purple and black bruises all across his chest before finishing the attack with a heavy front kick that could shatter his sternum easilly.

Kiru wouldn't be played that easily, especially not by a simple series of kicks that didn't even move that quickly. As she would go airborne to kick him, Kiru would give the impression he was going to be hit, leaning backwards as if she would still hit him at her speeds. However as soon as she was no longer on the safety of the ground, and her first kick was mere inches from him, He would have his Gale Palm explode forward from his body. It would hopefully knock her off balance and throw her far from him. Kiru would then use thousand needles, getting the jutsu perfectly. He locked on to the Nara girls form, whether she was correcting herself from the gale, or was somehow dodging that and making some kind of attack at him. He would take a step back as if to retreat, but have the needles create a storm of fire in front of him, peppering her body with the sharp needles, though not enough to do serious damage. Following through with that, Kiru would body flicker towards her, his chakra chains flailing from his sleeves. They would explode in a wide circling arc around the girl, wrapping and constricting her as he came out of the flicker. Next he would use shadow sewing, using it to subdue her legs as best as he could. He would then use the force of the chains to lift her from the ground, and slam her into the ground behind him, hitting the rock with enough force to give her a headache for weeks. He wouldn't draw any weapons on her, not wanting her to summon sorrow in response, as he pretty much wanted to stay away from that scythe of death. Kiru would gently breathe and wait for her to stand. Most of his techniques needed a recharge time, but he wouldn't let that stop him. Being able to sense her every move through the rain, he would rush the woman, feinting a kick to her side that would retract and hit her in the shoulder instead, and in the same movement he would reverse his spin and deliver a backhand blow to send her skidding across the ground at an alarming rate. He couldn't go easy on her, she was much to powerful for that, and he doubted he had even really scratched her. She was rather tough in that regard. Considering how she must have trained with Youka, this couldn't be all that bad, and was probably easy for for her. A lot easier then it was for Kiru. He wasn't used to fighting such a great opponent, and was a bit wary of anything she could do. Her counters were usually swift and ferocious, and he wished she would actually teach him something rather then just come at him. It really couldn't be helped though, she was generally always like this. A lot better at teaching hand to hand combat then ninjutsu. He would just have to get used to it.

Good, she thought to herself, being quickly knocked back by the fake palm. From her body four tendrils of shadows flowed, biting quickly into the ground a little over a meter from where she started. They cradled her momentum back for a split second before forcing her forward again go continue her onslaught. Her eyes barelly flinched as she felt the needles strike. She too fired her jutsu, intercepting those that would still hit her in her new position moving back into range, leaving about four that would shoot off towards kiru, each aimed at the juncture of one of his limbs, the first two to his shoulders, one each set to burry deep into the ball and socket joint, and the other two into each hip where the bones of his thigh met his hips. Two new tendrils formed, large and thick moving forward. If he body flickered as normal she would catch him off guard, thrusting her hand forward to catch him by the neck where he ended, her free hand open, calling out to her twin daggers. As the metal flashed in he hand she would begin to be wrapped, if he had the ability to stil move the chains.
A quick v shaped slice would once more cut the chains in half, her eyes beginning to flow a deep purple Color now. Next she would strike again, alternating punches and slashes between her empty and weapon wielding hand, turning on her heels she raised her open hand, the chain wrapped lightly around her neck swinging to bring the other dagger into her open hand, from here she would send five wuivk slashes of her weapons at kiru, each with weapon in reverse. Two were aimed to cut into his right arm, two for his left and finally a quick slash across his chest just below the arm pit,

Kiru had figured she would do something of this caliber, and was pretty pleased with the result. She was just as good as he always remembered, always finding a way out of combat. But he wasn't one to be outdone, not quite. It took a moment of strategizing, his mind working quickly, re-assessing the battlefield. His eyes would seem to shine blue, as he took everything in in a matter of seconds. He imagined she expected him to body flicker past the water needles, and that would be the easiest solution. Whatever she had waiting for him was the dangerous part, as she was a cunning opponent, able to bend her form to many shapes to escape most points of attack. He had to make her believe everything had gone according to what she had planned, and strike while still evolving past her moves. If running away made her angry, he would press his attack. He was faster then her, at this very moment he had the speed advantage, if only slightly. He knew what course he had to take, and he had to be quick about it. The flashes from the needles coming into contact made a sound like metal on metal, displaying the power of both shinobi's jutsu. He smiled, and as he body flickered, two particular daggers would appear in his hand. He would let a moment of fear flash through his eyes as he was caught, knowing his chains would be destroyed by her dagger. It was a ruse to catch her off guard. He let the force of him being caught as such a high velocity allow one of his daggers to launch out of his hand, as if he had dropped it like a clumsy amateur. He sort of hoped to see some smile of victory pass her lips before he was suddenly gone in a flash of silver. Not even the rain would be aqequate enough to see through such a teleport. He would appear directly behind her, both daggers in his hands, slashing downwards, making a shallow "X" across her back, followed by a full frontal kick on the painful region, pushing her forward. Placing one of the kunai in his mouth, he produced another, average one. Though Kira shouldn't really have a big idea on what he did, she may now be getting that he was faster then she had previously thought. Now armed with 3 blades, he would rush at her as she righted herself, though not at such a speed that he couldn't correct his course should she pull any surprises. He would fight her blade to blade if thats what she wished, though he wasn't positive if he would be the victor, he would certainly put on a magnificent show of his skills, and show her that he wasn't some pushover, even when not utilizing his spectre seal. With the odd taste of metal and fabric in his mouth, and the power to fight on, he prepared his next assault.

Everything was going as planned, she thought as she thrust him forward, only to find him no longer there. She fell to the ground, her expected momentum with the weight of his body behind it more then her form itself could handle. Just before she hit the ground she tucked her head in, rolling forward as his slashes would meet empty air. He's gotten a bit better, she thought with a surprise as she pushed herself back up, her feet hurting the ground for a moment before she became airborn, the tendrils biting I to the ground to leave two defensively. Like a whip they spun her around, almost seeming to throw her at the boy. She flipped over once as she floated through the air still anchored by her tendrils, and finally as she got within a meter she was seeming to float... Or not so much seeming as was, as if she were actusly standing on air. The first dagger left her hand, aimed center mass of his chest, the sound of chain ran through the dragon lands as sorrow flew to claim her victim.
