Messages (Priv/Kira)

Kiru sighed in dissapointment as his daggers met empty air, though with the dagger in his mouth it came out a bit more difficult then it needed to be. She was in the air again, but tethered to the ground. A gale pam may distract her, but likely wouldn't actually achieve much. With her dagger flying at him he didn't have a ton of options. Airborne combat wasn't really his thing, at least not yet. He needed to bring her down, but the qestion was, how. First, to stop the dagger, he released 5 chains, all meeting the point of her weapon at max speed. The force from all 5 would certainly be enough to stop its trajectory, and if not, 5 more would replace them, doing the exact same thing, but these would be chakra infused. If the dagger's momentum would be stopped, Kiru would unseal the chains, and quickly spin and use thousand needles of death at the mid air woman.  They would buffet the now falling weapon away from its master, and the needles themselves would strike Kira in a full front assault. Using that as a diversionary tactic, he would create two spiral wind balls, and throw them behind the shower of needles. If done correctly, Kira would have a tough time seeing the two wind spheres behind the needles, and they would strike her dead center in her chest, likely causing internal damage enough to stun her for quite a bit. Kiru himself would retreat 3 meters, to get out of the range of any sudden movements that would come at him. He needed to be able to respond quickly, and at his current range that would be difficult. He would make sure his attacks went through before doing anymore actions, wary of Kira's remaining skills, and not wanting to have to dodge anything super major. Kiru would run chakra through his seal, giving it more power, and trying to make his connection with it greater. He never knew when he would need such an ability, especially when sparring against the likes of Kira, who had seemed to have mastered it to a high degree. She was an expert in fighting, so that should really be expected. Kiru felt the silver chakra flowing over his entire being, filling him with coursing energy and he could feel his chakra binding through the seal at an ever greater rate. He was getting slowly more attached to it, and could only hope he could push it a few steps further. He needed to know how far it could go, and if he could perfect it for much better alignment with his own chakra. There was still traces of unchanged chakra in his body, meaning he had a little ways to go to integrate the seal fully into his body. He wondered if kira had noticed, or if the seals had even given her the ability, to be more attune to your bodies natural element. He hadn't been able to pursue it much, but he did wonder what its full possibilities were.

"Not good enough" SHe said, moving forward with the same intent in her eyes. she was excited... no. Excited didnt express well enough the feeling of euphoria flowing through her body like adrenaline. She was elated. The sound of metal on metal sent a shiver down her spine as she watched the scene unfold, her dagger crashing through the first set of chains like a hit knife through butter. it would seem almost like it hadn't even encountered the attack, advancing towards Kiru at a speed of ninety eight now, the trajectory turned only barelly upward. Now instead of center mass the weapon would crash against the point around two inches above his heart. The second set of chains however made a clear difference in the weapon's aim, turning it up a bit more as it crashed through them, splitting those it actuall came in contact with fairly easily. Unfortunately for kira the delighful sound of metal on metal came with the realization that her dagger would now pass harmlessly abover his shoulder about two inches, just out of range to do damage. This fact upset her, but she had more important things to deal with. He fomred the seal she'd taught him, and she watched the shards of water form up. He really did want to be dificult, didn't he? she thought to herself now having closed half of the distance. As the needles flew, all aimed for her body from the front she simply shook her head. From the cloak across her body a large dome shield formed up, disrupting line of sight between him and her as the needles came in to stick into the black oval shape about two feet from her body. The wind ball would also crash against the black shield, seeming to simply bounce off upwards and to the side.

The shield would grow a hole in the center, looking less like a defensive jutsu and more like a doughnut, though it wouldn't be noticeable at this point. The shield itself would be half a meter from him, her body almost a full meter when the hole opened, and the moment it did a strong gust of water would pour through, striking at kiru, aimed right as his chest. She was thankful for having taken the time to learn and master the water trumpet jutsu, she thought to herself as the dagger passed over his shoulder and she prepared for the next bit of her terrifying string of attacks.

Kiru would gather all the power in his seal he could, ready to take Kira head on. Her shield had stopped his attacks, sure, but that didn't mean much if he could break through that barrier. He should have been paying attention to the growing pain in his limbs, and the soreness of his mucles, but his adrenaline was too high, and his mind was blurring too fast. He was literally thinking too fast to realize that his constant breaking of limits was injuring his body to a extremely high degree, and wouldn't be able to keep up much longer. He bit down on his dagger, looking around the battlefield for a pace where he would have the advantage against Kira. He quickly preformed the handseals as the water trumpet headed for him, and the jutsu seemed to work, but would suddenly flicker out. He would get flung several feet backwards, bouncing along the ground as his seal made it seem that his body was bathed in silver flames, that slowly died away. It would become apparent that he had run out of chakra, and could very well have died from that simple technique. Kira would see him laying there, hopefully not pressing her attack, as he would slowly rise, rubbing his head as the sky partially cleared as his rain jutsu failed as well. "I think i'm a bit out of chakra Kira. I don't quite have the levels you do it seems."
He would sigh and lean up against a rock, waiting for her response.

SHe followed his path, her feet touching against the ground to continue running at him, her eyes red with the rush of adrenaline. Once in range she would draw one of the daggers back, going in for a kill shot. The weapon came down hard and fast, aimed at his face but at the last moment she turned it to land burried in the rock beside him. "Yea...We um...Should probably break for a little..." Her breath was heavilly labored, half by the fight and half by exiting her black out. She vaguely remembered the fight which worried her. Three more seconds would have netted her a dead student.

While Kiru would have been pretty sure that strike was easily dodgeable normally, in his current state it wasn't happening. So it was really nice when it clanged into the rock next to him, and Kira recommended a break from training, as he had also suggested. He slowly managed to stand, pain racking his limbs and muscles as he did so, making walking a little difficult, but not impossible. "I'll come find you later. I think i'm gonna lie down for a while."

As he walked away he was a bit worried. Kira could have really killed him there, she needed to pay more attention while they sparred. She had gotten similarly dangerous last time too. Maybe she really did need his help coming to terms with Maku and Youka, he just needed to figure out how to help her without hurting her.

"Y..Um yea. I'm gonna go spend some time in the Fae realms I think. Clear my head. " With that she walked over to an empty spot in the sand, taking a seat with her legs crossed. her head dropped downward as her eyes closed, allowing her mind to clear as she meditated. Her mind would slip into a state of complete calm, her spirit seeming to leave from her body, though it wouldn't be apparent from the natural world. She needed to release herself from laley. She needed to speak to the princesses of the fae.
