"Apologies sir if I've misspoken." She would wait until the leader addressed the final of them in the room, though only by a split second. Her hands gripped nothingness tightly, her knuckles whitening at his suggestion. "It is not weakness I detest but the idea of weakness. Myself and the girl calling herself the hell's angel have proved the difference between born strength and will to survive. I believe strength is not born or gifted but honed, and weakness is a failure of the teacher not the student that the concept of weakness and strength be eliminated. My goal is to see the weak lifted up instead of pushed to the dirt...." She could feel tears slowly trickle from her eyes as her sense of calm broke. 

"I believe... I. Feel that there is no weakness in konoha and accepting and working to that will make us a vastly more powerful nation. " she stopped there though her eyes spoke volumes flowing through her mind. She wanted to let out everything, to compare scars with these young ninja and prove her mark ridden body true to her cause but in the end it was unneeded. If silence met her words she would head out of the office as instructed thinking through the events leading her to this door.

Kasai listened to the Hokage's reply to his speech. Taking in every word, Kasai nodded. He listened to the words that he said, but kept his opinions to himself. It was not his place, nor was it the time to begin a conversation. The Hokage did not ask him to speak again, and so Kasai did not speak for the time being. 

He listened to the feedback that the Hokage gave to everyone, but when it came to Tatsuya's speech, Kasai turned his eyes to the ground. He had witnessed Makussu's death; blown to pieces in a single second, and it was the last sight Kasai had seen. After that, the next thing he knew, Kasai spent weeks digging himself out of the rubble of a destroyed village. The memories were painful indeed. Yet, the Hokage smiled at the speech. Not at the mention of death, but at Tatsuya's ideals. Kasai inwardly smiled back. Tatsuya was his ideal candidate, and Kasai was simply to act as the sword for his friend.

Then, the Hokage dismissed the Jounin. This brought the numbers remaining down to three, including himself. 

Kasai would remain silent until directly spoken to, or asked to speak.

Tatsuay hears the others responses and as thought Kasai always beets him in words. Never the less it seemed that the Hokage liked what he had to say even if it was a bit naive. The most interesting thing was when the girl mention 'Hells Angels'. He had heard the name before and it was from Kira. Tatsuyas interest in the girl grows as he wonders if she had past affiliations with Youka simmialr to Kira. Never the less it didn't matter now and Tatsuya would just store the information for the time being. 

The words that resonate with Tatsuay the most "Never should you shift the blame of your actions upon the village, or your clan." This was important for you are the leader and thus responseble for any hardship or mishap in the village.


"Thank you for your words I take them to the heart." Then responding to Brenner response to what Tatsuay said. "Some of what I said was naieve and your words are of course very wise. As Hokage I will have to sacrifice personal pleasure but I will also choose the best path for the village and its people even if I disagree with it." 


Tatsuay stops there as he wants to remain respectful to Brenner but he dose look at him with eager yet calm eyes waiting to see the outcome of this event.

[Jason you can go ahead and post, Navi only had his appearence post, the trials will be up to you 3 and Brenner. He will jump in when the time is right.]

Jason listened carefully to everyone around him. Especially to the Hokage's words. It had in fact been his clan that had influenced him to become a shinobi, but it was still part of the village. Jason was aware that Tatsuya's words seem to have made more of an impact than the others. The Jounin had already been dismissed. The Hokage had said that Jason's words to accept someone else had shown that he may not be certain of his own beliefs and ideology to lead the village. Perhaps Jason wasn't ready to lead Konoha as it's Hokage. That did not mean that Jason was not still determined to do so. Jason knew that he might not have the experience and wisdom it would take, but he was more than ready to accept the guidance of others to help him grow along this path. 

Finally it would be Jason's turn to respond to the Hokage's words. He would let the fire in his eyes do most of the talking for him. Jason was certain that he would always put what's best for the village first. In this, he agreed completely with Tatsuya. What is best for the village must be done, even if he did not agree with it or at the expense of his own wants and needs. The village came first, no matter what. "Yes Lord Hokage. Thank you for your wise words. I will not forget why I became a shinobi."

Brenner looks towards Tatsuya, his form coming off cold and intemidating, perhaps this was due to his time in the ANBU. He speaks now. "If it is the best thing for the village, it will be your will. There will be no dispute on if it is wrong, because the actions of the Hokage are deemed right by default." He allows there to be a moment of silence, his eyes close. "I have another question for you three. Three great men sit in a room, a foreign King, a Priest, and a Wealthy Businessman. Between them stands the average leaf shinobi, each great man bids the shinobi kill the other two. Which one lives?" He asks, looking upon all three.
