Another Private Topic (P: Sal)

Salzem opened one eye, seeing Draconis un-cloak out of his invisibility. Salzem lowered his guard slightly, opening his other eye and lowering his arms from a defensive guard position.
"Are we trying something else?" Salzem asked. He had another jutsu he needed to train as well.

(ooc: the stuff in yellow you can ignore in terms of roleplaying)

Salzem noticed when Draconis undid the camoflauge technique. “I think I will leave that for another time. Right now I want to practice a different jutsu, but this one you probably want to avoid when it is detonated…”

His words were clear in the summer air, which was contaminated by a slight trace of influenza, known likely be a different name else where but who cares getting sick is getting sick right, just as every one has a name to denote jerks, and another for those to avoid, of which Draconis was hoping to enter the latter category at some point soon though when this would be he could not tell, and one of the steps towards attaining the pillar of power that he had had set for him self in his mind was to learn the Clone Grwat Explosion, though the name was it self a bit of a misnomer as the explosion radius of the jutsu was actually only about 3 meters maximum which was piddling though the jutsu idea was useful, Draconis would have to see about making the effect stronger and larger as he felt it was insufficient at this time really, so he continued to think about how he would train it, so that he could become closer to achieving total power, he needed to first regather the explosive chakra he had forgotten about previously, the act of forgetting and inadvertently releasing the explosive chakra making him think that it was almost a waste of time to try and train the technique but in reality things were not as grim since he could use the knowledge and experience he had gained from such acts to further his training, since he had to gather the chakra in the first place he would find the second time to be it self much much easier to do he hoped, so he began concentrating his chakra again and tried to force a stronger amount of it to come out in force so that there would be more than a mere fizzle of exploding power when he eventually detonated the bomb clone thingy that he was supposed to make with this explosive clone jutsu, but unfortunately it was getting time for him to maybe possibly go so he had to wrap this brief amount of time up quickly so he continued to try and concentrate his chakra while watching Salzem Alagahara to see what the other boy might do, whether he might try to start another right again or just train a jutsu.

Salzem smirked slightly. He had been working on his own Little technique. One that would help him at a range so that he was no longer confined to his fists. Salzem lowered himself into a strong position, gearing up for a Daytime Tiger technique. It was one of the higher up taijutsu techniques. Salzem held one of his arms back, focusing his strength into it. He could imagine it now. As he unleashed the power, a Tiger made of pure air would lash out from around his arm, at least 10 meters tall, striking out at whatever came from Draconis with a power of 100 (Speed 120 Strength 80) This is assuming that Draconis attacks with his new jutsu. Salzem had it in his mind that he could blow away whatever Draconis sent at hi. This was not taking into account the explosion that would occur after the main strike with equal strength.

With this in mind, Salzem waited patiently for Draconis to make his move. He would stand firm in his spot, waiting for his chance to strike.

Salzem cocked his fist while Draconis was working on gathering his chakra. How weird. What could he be up to? “Is that a regular punch or a special move?” Draconis asked Salzem. He was starting to really get sweaty from the exertion of manipulating his chakra. 

Mean while, he concentrated his chakra further, slowly forming the explosive equivalent of a black hole, fortunately the chakra was not being used for gravity, that being the sole domain of a ninja long past and long irrelevant though Draconis did not know of this and as such this other ninja was not at all important to Draconis at least for the time being, never mind that Draconis had not though to try manipulating gravity yet, only some thing that was effectively quite similar, so he continued on training, gathering up his chakra in an attempt to form enough to make an entire shadow clone explosive, sweat beginning to roll down his eyes brows and the side of his face continuing down in a path intended to take it towards the chin of the typical human body, after which point it would drip down onto Draconis’ chest, one that was not really large due to his not extensive practice in Taijutsu, the physical arts, but was not too scrawny either, partially due to his body’s natural build, and partially because of his ninja training, after dripping onto his chest, the water would soak into his shirt after which point it would either begin to evaporate, to eventually be consumed after an indeterminate time in the water cycle, or instead rolling farther down his shirt towards his pants, though this was really just a massive red herring, as the water would skip his shorts entirely to the disappointment of his knees, dripping straight until it landed on his shoes, making them a little soppy, he would need to go and dry them out later.

 

The chakra continued to expand, within him, soon he would be unable to continue to store it in his body, so he needed an out let and that would soon be the clone. He started spreading out the explosive chakra in his body so that he could make more of it without being a danger to any one and so the chakra was spread out across his body, the chakra reaching every pore, barely held in like water in an expanding balloon, the balloon straining from the exertion, little holes in the plastic letting out water much like how Draconis occasionally let go of a little bit of chakra accidentally, so he slowly worked the amount up until he could not hold any more explosive chakra through any means, safely, and began to form it into an object that he began molding to take on his appearance.

 

The first thing he worked on was the Byakugan, since he under stood that and it was part of his identity now, being likely the strongest true Hyuuga in the entire Konoha village. He slowly formed two eyes, clear, with the white or so pupils he himself had, he forgot the actual names by this point, having never had time to really study the human anatomy in any great detail aside from one time when he was in a museum of sorts during a ninja academy trip and he took a brief glance at an enlightening poster that showed all the tenketsu on the body as well. That being the most science he had had in his life apparently. So, he formed the eyes care fully, making sure to not miss any details. After that he began forming a brain out of chakra, the optic nerves being the first part he formed. After that he began to work on other parts of the body as well, working fast to avoid losing the explosiveness of the technique. If Salzem saw this he might get grossed out but who knows, he wanted to study the medical arts so he needed this any way. At least he should get used to the sight, since he would be getting a lot of it later on. Draconis afterwards formed the skull, hardening and condensing the chakra until he was satisfied. His own skull was thick so he probably had to use extra chakra compared to the average joe. After that, the other items were far less delicate, eventually he formed the body parts together, and lo and behold, he had a clone. Just for good measure a puff of smoke appeared as the final body parts were stuck together, a perfectly formed clone appearing out of no where, just very very very slowly. He smiled, this was getting to be kind of funny.
 

The clone followed his signal to walk off to next to a nearby tree, about 10 meters away from Draconis and Salzem each. The clone appeared to concentrate, and then suddenly detonated, a blast of chakra emanating outwards for 3 meters, bits of the tree being blown far away by the force of the explosion, due to the placement of the clone, all of it was blasted into the forest unfortunately skewering a nearby missing ninja causing him to go to the hospital to get splinters in painful places to be removed. Of course nobody knew the entire story, most being unaware of Draconis’ part in it including yours truly, so nothing came of it besides one more prison inmate that ensured job security for those who had put him there.

 

A shock wave rippled through the air, becoming a harmless breeze by the time it reached Draconis, but he was not fooled, he appeared to have learned a new technique, hopefully one that would prove useful in the future.

Salzem cocked an eyebrow as Draconis summoned a clone, creating the organs and bone tissue, connecting and formulating the complete goal. A bit more graphic than necessary, he was sure, however knowing the body in both in and out is crucial for anyone practicing medicine. Salzem watched as the clone walked over to a tree and blew up as if it were a walking bomb. The radius of the explosion was at least three meters. Not exactly large, but powerful as Salzem could feel the shock wave even from the distance from where he stood. He supposed it was his turn to show off. Salzem faced his own tree, focusing his strength into his arm, He brought his other arm back, before throwing them both forward in a double fist punch, pointed at the direction of the Tree. Wind began to correlate around the front of Salzem's fist, looking like a vortex at first before it changed form, refined into something resembling a tiger. The wind tiger leapt forward, bringing it's mighty paw down upon the trunk of the tree, spraying wooden shrapnel left and right. Salzem then quickly slammed his hands into a unique sign resembling a tiger, focusing chakra into the shockwave-beast. The wind-tiger let out a roar before exploding in a cone shape, at least 10 meters in size, crushing just about everything within the blast radius. Salzem felt the exhaustion wave hit him and he let out a gasp as he fell to one knee. Should Draconis wonder what technique he used Salzem would struggle to his feet before saying:
"Daytime Tiger technique. What was that clone-bomb of yours?"

Draconis HAD to ask what that technique was, it looked to be a wind related punch, perhaps if he tried it later he would be able to do it too, but he alredy knew Salzem was stronger physically and HE was getting really tired… so not yet anyway, Draconis would wait until later to learn those techniques. For now he needed to learn a stronger version of the 64 palms technique. Or did he? No, not yet. Time for a more defensive maneuver, in case he could not block items and the like. Draconis focused his chakra again, or at least began trying to, the chakra forming an aura around him, one that even Salzem without his chakra sensory would be able to easily perceive. “Interesting.” He muttered. This would be a jolly ride, he needed to make the aura cover his body more completely, and then there was undoubtedly the matter of trying to spin at the same time without letting any of the chakra go, keeping it purely defensive, a move that might require use of the Byakugan in the initial stages, though for now he should be not worrying about that much, later he would have to have some one, maybe Salzem, throw twigs or some thing to see whether the shield could deflect properly. That would all be later though. For now he would concentrate on making his chakra cloak, potentially that would be a base for later techniques as well, of his own creation.

In the mean time… “That was the Exploding Clone technique, I think the name is a little self explanatory. What was that you just did? A Taijutsu move?”

"Hmm... Go figure." Salzem responded. "My attack Is known as the Daytine Tiger." Salzem watched as Draconis enveloped himself in a chakra cloak, not unlike that of his own lariate. Perhaps he was doing something similar? No... It was not. Draconis seemed stead-fast in his stance, one not fit for an attack move such as the Lariate. Perhaps it was for something more... defensive. Salzem smiled as he slammed his hands together in the tiger sign, his chakra flowing out of him like water from a stream. His own chakra cloak faded into existence, seemingly more active than Draconis's, more aggressive. The first move for the Lariate

"It looks like we can both generate chakra cloaks. Care to test the durability of yours?" Salzem would ask. If Draconis agreed, Salzem would rush forward, raising his arm to complete his Lariate move. "Speed 100 Strength 60). If Draconis decline, Salzem would disperse his chakra cloak and rest himself against one of the trees.

It seemed Salzem was spoiling for another fight. “I would rather not yet, this technique is not that strong and I am still learning it in the earliest of stages.” Draconis replied to Salzem’s query. Wanting a better way to pass the time that had reduced chance of losing brain cells, Draconis said “Why do you think ninjas exist? At least in their current state?” Perhaps Salzem would also be able to be drawn into a more philosophical discussion.

Mean while, Draconis continued to work on his chakra cloak. Slowly he evened out the out puts from his many different Tenketsu, until the chakra cloak began to stop looking as bumpy. Eventually he began to slowly creep the chakra out so that it would cover his entire body, instead of only some of it like it currently was, covering his hands, feet, and patches of his chest. Exerting him self a little he managed to stretch it out until his wrists, ankles, and a bit more of his chest were all covered. This was going to be a long haul, huh. Sweat beaded up again, similar to when he was training the explosive clone jutsu, just because. So he watched Salzem in the mean time, curious to see how he would respond to any attempt at a more serious conversation. During this at the same time his tenketsu produced an amount of chakra that slowly grew with each passing second, the chakra cloak as a result beginning to grow in thickness slightly as it continued to slowly expand at a crawling pace along his limbs and chest, fortunately he had not let up yet, since activating the Byakugan as a result he could see the chakra that was beginning to spread out in small quantities on his back, so now it was just a matter of connecting the different blobs as if they were made of water or some thing, so that the chakra would stick together and then the technique would work better even if this was the first stage of training it it was a lot harder than it probably looked, since it required rather fine chakra control, he was having to take a rather long time at it, not necessarily a lot longer or shorter than most other people but still a tolerable amount of time none the less, since when he was growing up he did not have others to help him practice his chakra control techniques at all and as such he was actually mostly self taught as a ninja, even if others did not know that fact.

"Ninjas?" Salzem as surprised by the sudden change of subject. He rested himself against a tree, recovering from todays training.
"Ninjas now, are the same as they were when first conceived." Salzem said taking a small rock of the ground, twirling it between his fingers absently.
"Ninjas are killers, assassins, soldiers and spies. Ninjas every branch of the military yet, their own. Ninjas are people, yes, but they are also tools. Just like with any war, be it with ninjas or no, it's Quantity vs Quality. That much has not changed." Salzem coughed lightly as he caught the rock  and crushed it in his hand.
"Its our job to crush, to kill and to eliminate any obstacle that would obstruct our creators. Funny how little they really teach you in the academy isn't it?"
