Risako took note of Salzem's technique, mentally marking it down in her "to learn" list. I mean, who didn't want an overpowered clothesline? Maybe Risako would settle for something much more simple. Like seals and genjutsu, neither of which were simple. She then watched as Kasai worked some foot magic a soccer player would die for, (I mean seriously, have you ever seen someone play soccer?) Anyway, after Kasai had finished with the brief letter, he threw it to Risako, who caught it with a swift hand and flicked it open. Immediately her brain pulled the lever on every brake it had, and halted at a complete stop about halfway through the letter.
Sure, plans were fucking great and all, but there was something about processing the field as a clock that made her just blank out. Even for Risako, this was pretty stupid, considering she's had more complex thpughts... maybe it's just some (not so) clever ploy to fit more words into this post... or who knows? She might actually be stupider than a box of rocks.
For now she would just follow Kasai's lead and do what he said. She really didn't even know the plan, aside from "make big fire burn stuff." As Kasai stopped, so would Risako, to the left about 2 meters (6 feet.) Hopefully, Salzem would either have cleared the way or been under the water enough to escape the oncoming first degree burns.
With that that she would look at Kasai and say "hey" while holding up the Horse seal, which should have been enough of an indication of what she was about to do. With that, she would do it for real, and let loose the great wall of fire that was Great Fire Annihilation. This would likely cover the whole body of water (can't remember the dimensions), and provide a distraction, especially if Kasai followed up with another one, or a different attack all together. Now she just had to wait for everybody else to do something before I can write a few more posts.

((It's no problem, as friends we don't mind waiting a little while ;). I should honestly work on a rank up mission. I can't be the only Genin for ever now can I))

As Salzem dashed forward, the creature managed to twist it's head out of the way of Salzem's strike. Instead of coming into contact with the creature's neck, as Salzem wanted, he struck one of it's forelegs, smashing it and rendering it effectively crippled. However, as his arm came into contact with the creature, it let off a massive electrical surge, amplified further due to the water. Luckily, Salzem was above the water, dodging the stronger electric pulse, however, as Salzem struck the beast, electricity forced his way through his nervous system, causing Salzem's muscles to tense and scream with pain. He let out a growl and jumped back amongst the tree line, his body twitching and spazzing as the electric pulse messed with his brain's electric signals. He hid amongst the trees, waiting for his allies to attack. Salzem would be next to useless now, with his body confused as it was. He could barely focus his chakra accurately throughout his body. Regardless, he refused to sit the rest of this out. Salzem began weaving signs, mind completely focused on keeping his chakra flowing evenly throughout his body for Medical Ninjutsu level 2. With a couple seconds of concentration, Salzem's hands flickered with a blue light before it refined into a light blue flame that danced on his palm. He placed his hands upon his body, one upon the burns inflicted by the shock, the other on his chest, repairing the nerve-damage. This whole situation would take no less than a minute or two but a lot could happen in that time. Hopefully, His allies could stall, or even destroy the beast in such time.

"I should really process things before I do them," Kasai said, spontaneously changing directions while he ran, and moved to the beast's 9o' clock, so that if it turned towards them, its back would be facing 3 o' clock; where Ryugia told them to go. Haha! I am smart when I'm tired! I hate being busy.
As they reached their destination, Kasai looked to Risako, and seeing her start to form the hand seals for Fire Anal, or whatever that one was - you see, Kasai should be active more and learn more jutsu, but work kills him, so he lacks the knowledge of the name, making annihilation something much dirtier - he nodded. Jumping back, Kasai would start making his own hand seals.
"Don't get too close to me," he said, jumping back 6 meters (rules for jumping are somewhere, dunno, seems legit). And with that, forming the rat, the tiger, then the bull, Kasai lit himself on fire.
The fire didn't hurt him, but it would hurt anyone who got within 5 meters of him, and the heat would only increase with as they got closer. He planned on charging the beast.
Watching Risako's fire butt stuff (GFA) launch forwards, assuming it's meant to hit the lizzard, Kasai would follow quickly behind it, allowing the wall of fire to hide him as he ran directly behind it's blaze, himself on fire.
Then, whether or not the fire hit, Kasai would attempt to jump into the creature's head, hopfully with it only noticing at the last minute due to the wall of fire, and once there, he hoped the heat would fry its brain.
(630 ap - 45 = 585)
The beast let out a loud roar as it felt it's leg snap (lets say its speed is now down to 70 due to only 3 working legs), and a loud crackling began to start in its mouth. However, crackling isn't exactly the right word. It sounded like a hundred small birds, all chirping at the same time, as a lighting ball began to form in its mouth. However, Salzem had disappeared from its view too quickly, and it had to release the jutsu at something.
Out of the corner of its eye, it saw two figures standing near the edge of the pond, fire seeming to come from both of them. One of them quickly went out of view, as a wall of fire came out of its mouth, but the other remained visible for a second more, and so that is where it charged.
Unable to cancel the jutsu, the beast ended up charging head first into the wall of fire, injuring it severely (45 health against 50 power), but the chidori continued. A second after the wall of fire passed, the beast and the lightning ball in its mouth came within inches from another source of fire, the one that it had charged at.
The entire right side of the beast's head was extremely scorched, the skin peeling off, and massive amounts of damage were done, from coming so close to Kasai, who had jumped through the air, aiming at the beast. However, luckily for both, they had not come in contact, missing by inches, since neither could see when they charged through the fire. A direct hit from the fire chuunin would have killed the beast, but contact from chidori would have killed Kasai. Instead, Kasai flew past, his legs coming closest to the lightning, and being hurt gravely, landing in the pond meters away, and the beast stopping at the other end of the pond, half its face melting, covered in burns from the wall of fire, close to death.
(guys, add up word counts so I know how close we are to being done here. I'm at 2658)
